"Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice! And it was so, that when any man came nigh unto him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him. And in this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came unto the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel... And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom." (II Samuel 15:12a)

"Worrying Connections" was the subject of an article written by Andrew Gould to expose the improper connections between various Hebrew Roots and Toronto/Pensacola Revival ministries. Mr. Gould's article and other anti-HRM material, were recently removed from the websites of Tricia Tillen and Ed Tarkowski, subsequent to a threat of litigation from Messengers of Messiah Ministries. Watch Unto Prayer was also named in this threat; however it was never our intention to issue a retraction nor to withdraw our material from the Internet, as demanded by Peter Michas.

That Banner Ministries, Ed Tarkowski and other "discernment" ministries would so easily capitulate and then berate our attempt to expose this blatantly heretical movement is unfortunate, but not altogether surprising. As I have interacted with these ministries, I have pondered many "worrying connections" within their own ranks. Having confronted those whom I knew personally - to no avail - I believe that the Christians who follow them now have a right to this information.

"And we beseech you brethren, to know them which labour among you..." (I Th. 5:12)

In July of 1997, I attended the Discernment Conference in East Lansing, Michigan, which was organized by Jewel van der Merwe of Discernment Ministries and Sarah Leslie of the Christian Conscience. Ed Tarkowski was scheduled as a speaker but was unable to attend for health reasons. The speakers included: Dean Gotcher, Nancy Flint, Russ Bellant, Berit Kjos, Cynthia Weatherly, Sarah Leslie and Jewel van der Merwe. Gary Kah, author of "En Route to Global Occupation," gave an informal talk after the conference.

Upon my return from East Lansing, I wrote and circulated an article titled, "The Unitarian Creed". Being at a complete loss to explain why the following experience occurred at a "Discernment" Conference, I simply described my recent encounter with a Unitarian minister who introduced himself to me and wished to debate the doctrines of the deity of Jesus Christ and the Trinity. Sir Anthony Buzzard, a graduate of Oxford, explained to me that, in the Unitarian view, the Holy Spirit is an emanation rather than a person and that Jesus was a human son of God in the same way believers are sons of God.

Sir Anthony explained that he had left the formerly Unitarian Worldwide Church of God, after that denomination embraced orthodox Christian faith in 1994, and affiliated with the Church of God General Conference which Imagestains the Unitarian doctrine. The CGGC headquarters and college, Atlanta Bible College, where Sir Anthony is on staff, are located in Morrow, GA.

Anthony had given me his card and contacted me via e-mail soon after the conference wishing to discuss further reasons why the New Testament gives no clear statement of Jesus' divinity or of the person of the Holy Spirit. When I looked up the web page of Anthony Buzzard's Restoration Fellowship, I was stunned to discover that this gentleman had been nominated in 1996 for the Templeton Prize. This $1,000,000 "Prize for Progress in Religion" is given annually at the Parliament of World Religions by New Age financier, John Templeton. Former recipients include Billy Graham, Bill Bright, Chuck Colson, Mother Teresa, Cardinal Suenens and various Buddhists, Hindus, etc., including the Dali Lama. This dubious honor is advertised on Sir Anthony's web site:

Thinking that there must have been some mistake in the process of selecting conferees, I spoke to Sarah Leslie at the close of the conference about Anthony Buzzard's heretical doctrines and his aggressive proselytizing. Her reply was that Jewel van der Merwe had invited him. When I expressed my alarm to Jewel that someone with Anthony's credentials had been invited to a Discernment Conference, she thanked me for being nice to him and explained that he is "a little confused."  Still unsettled over this matter a year later, I wrote to Sarah to appeal to her according to Scripture regarding the other many compromises I was observing within the Christian Conscience.  To my question about Anthony Buzzard's presence at the conference Sarah replied:

Subject: Re: More Thoughts...

<<I do not know Anthony Buzzard other than having been introduced to him via Jewel. At that time I firmly cautioned her that this man was an ,apostate and to stay away from him. I do not know if she heeded my warning... As I said, I do not know Anthony Buzzard, but from what I saw of him at the conference I was appalled! This man is not a Christian!>>

Sir Anthony Buzzard's web page of referrals to Christian Resource Centres includes the Christian Conscience, CROSS+WORD, Focus on the Family, and Jews for Jesus. Previously, Jewel van der Merwe's Discernment Ministries was on the list. I might have reasoned that Sir Anthony was simply using these Christian ministries as window dressing, except for the fact that the East Lansing conference was "By Invitation Only" and no one was present without the advance knowledge, approval and extended hand of fellowship by the organizers.

Sir Anthony Buzzard, a Unitarian and Templeton Prize nominee, HAD BEEN INVITED to attend the Discernment Conference in East Lansing. How can these ministries be called discerning? How could such an individual be considered a Christian? Or was he there for other reasons - perhaps to colonize and neutralize the researchers? Sir Anthony very aggressively, but covertly, sought to proselytize me to the Unitarian position. I have since wondered if he has succeeded in winning converts at other conferences? Had I not been grounded in sound doctrine and known where to locate the verses in my KJV which prove the Trinity and deity of Christ, I might have been swayed by his intellectual approach. Of additional concern, the entire conference was videotaped by a nonbeliever named Wolfgang (also a friend of the discernment leadership). The videos, however, never materialized and I have since wondered whether the purpose of this conference was to distribute information to the researchers - or to gather information ON the researchers.

Prior to its transformation into an Evangelical denomination, The Worldwide Church of God to which Sir Anthony formerly belonged, was led by Herbert W. Armstrong and his son and successor, Garner Ted Armstrong. The WCG teaches the British-Israel theory, which Imagestains that the Anglo-Saxon races are the lost tribes of Israel. A brief history of WCG and its doctrine of British-Israelism may be found at:

When the WCG supposedly embraced orthodox doctrine, Anthony Buzzard separated and helped to found the Church of God General Council, which Imagestained the Unitarian and British-Israel beliefs of the former WCG. Both the COG and WCG network with the Messianic/HRM organizations, including the Essene Qumran-Bet Sacred Names Community and Sabbatarian organizations.

On his Restoration Fellowship page, Sir Anthony Buzzard explains the Hebrew Roots concept of Christianity.

Elsewhere on his website is announced a Hebrew Roots conference to be held at the Unitarian Atlanta College where he serves on the staff: "The conferees will study the `Hebrew roots of our faith'" and "our biblical unitarian heritage as expounded by such distinguished persons as Sir Isaac Newton and John Milton." [ed. both famous Rosicrucians]

The pastor of a major Hebrew Roots organization, Messengers of Messiah, Peter Michas subscribes to the doctrines of the Jerusalem School of Synoptic Research, a Jesus Seminar-type think tank which denies the inspiration of the Greek New Testament. The JSSR is not a Christian organization, but a "consortium of Jewish and Christian scholars" who identify Jesus as being merely "like other Jewish sages of that time."

Having rejected the Greek New Testament, Peter Michas substitutes pre-Kabbalist literature (the Babylonian Talmud, Mishnah, Midrash) and other Judaic writings as the interpreter of New Testament doctrine. Notwithstanding this heresy, the Christian Conscience Imagestains a link promoting Messengers of Messiah and published in their Jan/Feb '98 issue a favorable review by Lynn Leslie of Peter Michas' book, The Rod of an Almond Tree, which undermines the doctrines of the Substitutionary Atonement and the Trinity.

Peter Michas holds two doctrines in common with the Unitarian Worldwide Church of God, the Oneness doctrine and British-Israelism, of which more will be said later.

In chapter 14 of The Rod of an Almond Tree, Peter Michas denies the doctrine of the Trinity:

"The unity of Yeshua HaMashiach with God the Father and the Holy Spirit has never been clearly understood from the doctrine of the Trinity..."

"To understand the true relationship of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, it is essential to preserve the concept of oneness..."

"The aspect of the Father may be simply understood as the Will of God. The aspect of the Son may be understood as the Word of God. The aspect of the Spirit of the Holy One may be understood as the Power of God..."

"To say God is three `persons' opens the door to misunderstanding God. God is Spirit and cannot be reduced to the concept of a person..."

"The Spirit of the Holy One is the very essence of the power of God the Father and not some separate entity." (pp. 255-57)

The Merovingian/British Israel movement has expressly stated their plan to place one of their bloodline on the throne of the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem. This positioning of a false messiah, whom the world will worship as Christ, has been planned and executed over many centuries. The grand scheme of the Rosicrucians will culminate, according to Sir Isaac Newton, when they "bring Jesus down" in  the year 2000 A.D.

"9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

"...The last missing week: 62+7+1=70 starts in 1996 and runs for 7 years. Half-way through - in 2000 we bring down Jesus causing the sacrifice to cease:

"9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."

Historian of The Rosicrucian Enlightenment, Frances Yates wrote of Newton's interest in Hebraic studies, confirming Sir Anthony Buzzard's previous description of this most famous of the English Rosicrucians:

"Newton's historical attitudes, his intense preoccupation with apocalyptic prophecy, would have made him intensely aware of the apocalyptic interpretations of the near extinction of Protestantism in Europe ...The approach to Newton through Rosicrucian alchemy might help, not only to unify his physical and alchemical studies, but also to integrate with these the Hebraic piety behind his historical studies." (p. 205)

The Merovingian legend portrays Jesus Christ as a member of the gnostic Essene Community of Qumran, whose messianic vision was to unite Jew and Gentile in order to deliver the world from the power of the evil Roman Empire. According to Merovingian doctrine, Jesus married Mary Magdalene and fathered children. When Jesus failed in his mission, Mary and Joseph of Arimethea fled from Israel to Europe.  The bloodline continued in Great Britain as the Merovingian dynasty.  The British-Israel doctrine also claims that the ten northern tribes of Israel migrated from their captivity in Assyria to the British Isles.

Hebrew Roots leader, Peter Michas teaches the British-Israel doctrine in his study of Revelation and we will here turn to his very accurate rendering of this doctrine:

Revelation Chapter Six
Messengers of Messiah
Pastor Peter A. Michas

A look at several verses in Genesis and other related passages, will give further insight into the full meaning of verse 6. "Indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies" (Genesis 22:17). The word translated "gate" means strategic sea gates, the sea lanes of world trade. The countries that have and do possess these lanes are the United States, Britain, Canada, and Australia.

"And the L-rd was with Joseph, so he became a successful man. And he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian" (Genesis 39:2). In Genesis 39:23, we read that "The chief jailer did not supervise anything under Joseph's charge because the L-rd was with him; and whatever he did, the L-rd made to prosper." The covenant blessing was given to Joseph and then to Ephraim and Manasseh (Genesis 48). This covenant blessing is also shown in Deuteronomy 33:13-17. In verse 17 of this passage, it speaks of an ox or wild ox. In Hebrew, the word is unicorn. It also speaks of the first-born, but it is actually talking about not just the first-born but includes the offspring of the future. Those who would come from Joseph, Ephraim, and Manasseh would be the head, not the tail, and would receive the choicest blessings under the sun from the sea and the world. Where on the face of this earth has more food produce, minerals, sea trade, and commerce? The free nations, the Gospel-preaching nations. Do any other nations fit the picture of receiving the blessings promised to Joseph, Ephraim, and Manasseh? China and the nations of South America and Africa do not fit this picture. NO!

As we mentioned, the word in Deuteronomy 33:17 translated "ox" is actually "unicorn." This is most important as the symbol of England is the unicorn. Verse 17 continues with "With them he shall push the peoples." Who will? The nations of the unicorn. Those are the ten thousands of Ephraim and the thousands of Manasseh. There are hundreds of Biblical references which show us the picture of these nations as the descendants of these three men.

There are stipulations to the blessing bestowed on these men and their seed. Leviticus 26:1-18 deals with Israel before the dispersion. In verse 19, we see the dispersion; this occurred around 700 B.C. when they were dispersed into Assyria. After the time of the Greek and Roman Empires during the middle ages, the entire Assyrian Empire moved to France, Germany, and northern Spain. They were scattered and made a part of these nations. The teachers and educated ones of ancient Babylon had been brought to Rome during their occupation by the Greeks. This explains why it can be read G-d calling certain places Assyria or Babylon in Revelation; He is referring to the places where these peoples settled. When hearing "Assyria," we think of where it used to be. G-d is referring to the places where these people are today or will be at the end time referred to in Revelation.

It is noteworthy that Prince Michael Stewart "Forgotten Monarchy of Scotland" lists in two places the Leslie clan among the "sacred family" which descended from Scotland's liberator, Robert the Bruce.

"...Robert the Bruce succeeded not only as King, but also as a hereditary priest of the royal line. From the time of King Duncan I, son of Archpriest Crinan MacDonachadh, the concept of the monarch's dual priest-kingly role 9both as sovereign and religious patriarch) had reImagesed at the root of Scottish culture... Conventional history ignores the fact that Bruce was not only the Patriot King of his people, but was also Head of the Columban Kindred of their ancient Church. This inheritance was passed down to his Stewart grandson Robert II when he succeeded in 1371. At that time, others belonging to the sacred family included the McNabs, Rosses, Sinclairs, Robertsons, Dunbars, Dundasses, Wemysses, Abernethys, MacDuffs, Leslies, and Mackenzies, along with the ... Celtic Earls of Atholl..." (Element Books, p. 79; also p. 35)

The Scottish Declaration of Independence included Andrew Leslie, John Monteith, guardian of the earldom of Monteith, Walter, Stewart of Scotland and Henry St. Clair, among the other "sacred families" listed above. Extremely relevant is the fact that Phyllis Schlafly's maiden name was Phyllis Bruce Stewart, making her a blueblood of both the Bruce and Stewart lineage.  This is documented at:

8703. Phyllis Bruce STEWART (15) was born on 15 Aug 1924 in ST. LOUIS, MO..(15) She resided Fairmount in ALTON, IL..(15) She received a degree in Bach. of Arts, Washington Univ in ST. LOUIS, MO.. (15) She received a degree in Master of Arts, Harvard Univ.. (15) Very active in all levels of political life and womens rights. Author of many books concerning National defense.

She was married to John Frederic SCHLAFLY II (son of John Frederic SCHLAFLY I and Eleanor LYONS) on 30 Oct 1949 in ST. LOUIS, MO..(15) John Frederic SCHLAFLY II was an Attorney in ST. LOUIS, MO.. (15) Phyllis Bruce STEWART and John Frederic SCHLAFLY II had the following children:

In his book, Prince Michael Stewart, defends the Hebrew Roots of Celtic Christianity:

"Early Celtic Christianity was the closest of all religious teachings to the original doctrines of Jesus, and it had emerbed within a few years of the Crucifixion as the foremost Church of the Christian world. Christians of the Celtic Church were recorded in Ireland in the latter reign of Emperor Tiberius (AD 14037), long before St Peter went to Rome. Given that Jesus own teachings formed the basis of the faith, the Mosaic structure of the Old Testament was duly incorporated. Judaic marriage laws were observed, together with the celebrations of the Sabbath and Passover, while Easter was correctly held as the traditional feast-day of the Spring goddess, Eoastre, long before the Roman Church foisted a new significance on the old Celtic festival at the Synod of Whitby in 664.

"Contrary to traditional belief, Emperor Constantine the Great (AD 274-337) did not embrace Christianity as the religion of Rome; he adapted Christianity into a new form which was implemented as the religion of Rome. Constantine's reign as Emperor was actually related to the Syrian Sol Invictus cult of sun worship, but he determined to create a purpose-built religion to divert Christianity from its Judaic origins..." (pp. 30-1)

The thesis of Peter Michas' book, The Rod of an Almond Tree in God's Master Plan, is built upon the mythos that a branch from the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden was passed through generations of Israelites to David who planted it on the Mount of Olives.  This rod, which possessed magical powers because it was engraved with the Ineffable Name, YHWH, becomes the cross of Christ. Subsequently, it became a relic which will be returned by Elijah the prophet to validate the true Messiah who will take his place upon the Throne (Mercy Seat) at the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem:

"When Yeshua returns, He will set up His Throne in Jerusalem (Ezekiel 43:7). At this time, it is thought that the prophet Elijah will return the rod - a branch from the Tree of Life - to the Messiah... The Messiah will seat Himself on the Mercy Seat in the Holy of Holies on Mount Moriah. He will replace the Ark that had symbolized Him, in the place where God had first fellowshipped with Adam and Eve, the same place the Divine Presence dwelt among His People! Just as a branch from the Tree of Life was kept before the Ark, He will set the almond rod before Himself on the Throne of God, where the Tree of Life had grown in the Garden of Eden."

The theme of Bloodline of the Holy Grail, by Laurence Gardner, is the sacred lineage of Jesus Christ through the Merovingian bloodline, which is symbolized in occult lore by the rod of Jesse:

"Following Pope Gregory IX's first Catholic Inquisition of 1231, Grail lore was condemned by the Church...As a result, the tradition moved towards underground symbolism -particularly that of the Tarot cards...The four suits of the Tarot's minor Arcana were the Swords, Cups, Pentacles and Batons or wands...These corresponded with the sword, cup, dish and lance of the Grail Hallows. Eventually they became redefined as the Spades, Hearts, Diamonds and Clubs that are used today. The Spade was originally a Blade (the male symbol); the Heart was the Chalice of the alternative Church (the female symbol V)' the Diamond was a valuable Pentacle disc..., and the Club (denoting the continuing Davidic lineage) was depicted as the sprouting Rod of Jesse. (Element Books, 1996, p. 250)

Prince Michael Stewart, who claims to be the current heir of this royal bloodline, also mentions that in the medieval Celtic period, the hereditary priest-king of the Merovingian bloodline received the Rod of Authority at his coronation:

"The installation procedure for a King of Scots from the time of Robert the Bruce was rather different from the ceremonies of England and France. Firstly, the King-to-be was passed through a ritual of purification to become an ordained people's priest. He would then appear at the Church Abbey of Scone, dressed in white as a symbol of integrity, to be conducted to the Fealty Stone (traditionally, the Stone of Destiny) by a Bishop, followed by seven priests. With his hand upon the Stone, the King would swear his Oath of Fealty as the people's champion. He was duly anointed, and then sat upon the separate and much larger Coronation Stone, following which an 'Assembly of Friends' ...would gather round and the McDuff Earl of Fife placed the crown upon the King's head...Once crowned, the King would receive the White Rod of Strength (the Sceptre) and the Sword of Justice. Having been invested with the Honours of the Realm (Crown, Sceptre and Sword), the Kings' Senachie (...the Lord Lyon, King of Arms) recited the pedigree of the new King, in reverse sequence." (The Forgotten Monarchy of Scotland, p. 77-8)

Prior to the East Lansing conference, I had requested from Sarah Leslie information about James Dobson and the  Council for National Policy, of which I had just become aware. I was told to read Russ Bellant's books and to come to the conference where I would hear him speak on the CNP. No information was offered on Dr. Dobson.  Mr. Bellant gave a brief presentation on the Right-Wing, however, I would learn after the conference that many researchers throughout the country had been accumulating information on the CNP since the 1980s, including membership directories of this secret coalition of globalists and right-wing evangelical organizations. Most of this information seems to have been suppressed by the Discernment ministries. One report might have exposed this organization years ago as a front organization for Sun Myung Moon, Scientology, old and neo-Nazis and various globalists who, posing as conservatives, are drawing the Christian community into the New World Order.  However, for unknown reasons this report was never published.

Phyllis Schlafly and her late husband Fred, were early members of the Council for National Policy, a highly secretive coalition of Evangelical ministries such as Focus on the Family, Family Research Council, Christian Coalition and Concerned Women for America, CFR members, entrepreneurs, legislators, former high-ranking military leaders, Moonie-front organizations, TV preachers, the multi-millionaire Coors family, Amway and operatives from Opus Dei, DAR and Knights of Malta (of which Phyllis Schlafly is a Dame). Barbara Monteith and Dr. Stanley Monteith of noble Scottish bloodline are members of the CNP (see above).

The CNP was founded in 1981 by Tim LaHaye and funded by the Joseph Coors of the Coors Foundation, Texas millionaire, Nelson Bunker-Hunt, Richard Devos of  Amway and Richard Mellon-Scaife of the Mellon fortune. Sun Myung Moon is also heavily involved in funding and controlling the CNP and received an award from the CNP in 1984. (See Sun Myung Moon & the CNP: )

CNP Board Members connected with cult organizations have included:

Richard Schoff - former Klu Klux Klan member, financial supporter of High Frontier allied with the  Church Universal & Triumphant
John McGoff - serves on advisory board of Washington Times, a Moon-owned newspaper.
Robert Grant, chairman of Christian Voice and the American Freedom Coalition which is a political front for the Moon Unification Network.
James McClellan - an associate of convicted Nazi collaborator, Roger Pearson.
Ron Godwin - formerly second in command of Moral Majority, presently V. P. of Washington Times
Neil Hogan - Church Universal & Triumphant
Phyllis Schafly - Daughters of the American Revolution

Pierre du Pont and the Devos family of Amway are also members of the CNP along with leaders of most of the major Evangelical ministries. Past and present membership lists to interested parties upon request to Watch Unto Prayer. Council on Foreign Relations members have also belonged to the CNP since its inception in 1981.  The current list of members is posted at:

Major ministry leaders in the CNP include:
James Dobson (Focus on the Family),
Jerry Falwell (Moral Majority),
Pat Robertson (700 Club, Regent University),
Beverly LaHaye (Concerned Women for America),
Tim La Haye [CNP founder],

many more - about 100 out of more than 400 CNP members.

CNP members also include members of the U.S. Congress,
a number of which are high-ranking Freemasons:

Richard Armey (M),
Tom DeLay (M),
William Dannemeyer,

Earnest Istook who introduced the Religious Freedom Amendment and such notables as Donald Stewart (CFR),
Edwin Meese,
Oliver North,
John Singlaub and other supporters of the Contra rebels in the Iran-Contra Affair.

CNP member Ed McAteer had formed the "religious roundtable" groups in Latin America, posing as an ad executive for Colgate Palmolive.  To give the reader an idea of the type of operation conducted by members the CNP in foreign countries as experimental precedents to the current "neutralization and colonizing" of confessional religions in the U.S., I quote here a portion of La Mafia Sects (The Sect Mafia) by Burn Fouchereau, with an introduction by translator Suzanne Rini:

Intro: In my view, the "religious roundtable" set up in the area of the U.S. "right" was modeled as a "sect"  - i.e., along the same psychological warfare lines as the per se sects, and for the same purpose of manipulation of especially Christian conservatives away from their confessional religions and their teachings especially on justice and charity. The Religious Roundtable and the Sects are analogous to the paradigm changing role of the big post-war CIA operation, the International Cultural Congress for Freedom (CF Kristol etc). As well, the 60s "hippie" and sexual revolution. What was still outstanding was the hustling of the conservatives, less available. So, the breakdown caused by the sixties and the post-war shifts in general, plus abortion, provided the organizing tool to begin the "sectification" of the Christians as well as a vehicle for neutralizing and colonizing, or when necessary, destroying those immune to the tricks and the dialectical operations at play. Also when needed, the apparatus for terrorist operations.

The Sects, Powerful Tool of the Secret Services

In the category, "Manipulation of mystical groups and sects", the highest award can be given to the famous American intelligence agency..In May 1980, a group of bigwigs in the Republican party signed a confidential document, one destined to guide U.S. foreign policy, and more specifically, that of the CIA and of NSA. (2) This document was titled, "Inter-American Relations, Shield of the New Order and Sword of the U.S. Ascent to World Power."  Although this document set forth  strategic proposals, whose objectives are made readily clear in the title, it nevertheless reImagesed secret, and in the intelligence community was nicknamed, the  "Santa F Report." Beginning with the Reagan administration, and then Bush's, and on to the cohabitation of the Republicans with Bill Clinton, this project became operational and its application is ongoing. It is really just the continuation of a political strategy hatched by the U.S.A. in the 1950s, in turn guided by a document titled "The Rockefeller Report." The latter states: "In order to win the battle for hegemony (control) over conscience, it is necessary to begin by exposing Latin America to the influence of the fundamental values of the American way of life, doing so through controlling the traditional apparatus of socialization of civil society: the Family, the School, and the Church."

The Santa Fe Report went further down this road, clearly defining that one of the vectors for the expansion of U.S. power worldwide would be the activities of the sects. The document concretely explained how necessary it was for the U.S.A. to take charge of the initiative of ideological struggle through religious phenomena, the goal of which was to win control over conscience. The recent development of the sects would be one of the elements of this strategy. On the same subject, the Santa Fe Report notes the work already done in this area: ".[T]he experience acquired in Vietnam, thanks to the work done in population control, was exported to Latin America, and particularly to Guatemala, by numerous agents of A.I.D., and of other U.S. services. Certain sects were created by psychological warfare specialists and entrusted with control of the political forum and control of conscience." -George Orwell could never have imagined anything more effective than this!

In France, the reigning and undisputed specialist on this subject is Professor Jsus Garcia-Ruiz, of the Dept. of Ethnology and Anthropology at the University of Paris. In order to confirm this incredible American policy of manipulation of the masses of the world, of which the Latin Americans seem to be the model, he cites two other sources. First, the Popular Evangelical Mission of France, which, in a text titled, La Notion relative aux sects en Amerique latine, wrote: "They [the sects] are all made in the U.S.A. and are financed from the outside; they are the vehicles for inculcating an Anglo-Saxon cultural ideology, leading to adopting an American  middle class model." The second source is a report by the Minister of the Interior of Mexico, which explains: "The sects carry out the most subtle part of the process of domination and of north-Americanization of underdeveloped societies, through their religious preaching, which is set down into the ideological struggle in the middle of civil society." It is a fact that the foremost evangelical and charismatic sects have played a structural role in the dictatorships of Latin America. Sects such as The Church of the Word in Guatemala, or the Divine Universal Church, in Argentina, are directly linked to North American structures, such as the 700 Club (the real "seminary" for the formation of gurus, directed by the CIA), T.P.L. Television, founded by Pat Robertson in Virginia, Billy Graham Evangelist Association, World Vision International (all part of the sects' money stream).

This highly secretive organization of evangelical ministries called the Council for National Policy have been determining the agenda and policies of the Christian Right with the helpful guidance and funding of secular foundations whose agenda which, as we know, is not in the interest of Jesus Christ or His Church. On our website is an article on Rockefeller's creation and funding of the Religious Right which is presently networked through the Heritage Foundation under Ed Feulner and former founder, Paul Weyrich, who now heads the Free Congress Foundation. The following web pages deal with the funding of the Religious Right by wealthy foundations such as Rockefeller, Coors, Amway and Mellon-Scaife:

The Rockefeller/Heritage Connection-Rockefeller funding of Paul Weyrich
The Heritage Foundation - Nazi, Moon, Communist and NWO connections

To give a brief overview of the elite mentality of CNP founders and members, founders Morton Blackwell and Paul Weyrich endorsed a book by Plinio Correa de Olivier of Tradtion, Family and Property (TFP), Nobility & Analagous Traditional Elites, on the necessity of restoring traditional Nobility & Elites to rule the world. The Secret Story of a Cult Apologist website provides a picture of Weyrich & Blackwell interacting with the American head of this organization, who along with CNP member John Whitehead of the Rutherford Foundation, defends cults such as Scientology:

TFP is the parent organization of CESNUR, the cult-apology network of Massimo Introvigne, which is under the direction of the Grand Lodge of France. Please see our report on the recent Religious Persecution Legislation which passed Congress due to the lobbying efforts of Dr. Introvigne:

TFP/CESNUR connections with the Council for National Policy are presented in this overview:

Weyrich & Blackwell work with TFP which is the parent organization of CESNUR, the cult apology network for Scientology. Citizens Commission for Human Rights (CCHR) is a Scientology front which proposed the signing of a Pledge by parents opposing psychology in schools. [Scientology successfully removed psychology from CA school system and substituted L. Ron Hubbard's Dianetics]. The CCHR Pledge was heavily promoted by CNP organizations Family Research Council, Eagle Forum, Concerned Women, etc. and Carolyn Steinke.

Carolyn Steinke on board of Scientology front Citizens Commission for Human Rights (CCHR) and Citizens for Honest Government (CHG).
CNP member, Pat Matriciana, is also the president of CHG.  CCHR funds Paul Weyrich's American Legislative Exchange Council, according to a letter by Carol Steinke which we have on file. Citizens for Honest Government did a smear video on 60 minutes after 60 minutes expose on Scientology:

Clay Bock, a Scientologist of 20 years and education reform leader sponsored a conference which featured Carol Steinke as keynote speaker.  The Orange County Register states that Steinke received a 1995 award from the Scientology-supported Citizens Commission on Human Rights.

A women's organization which is an offshoot of Paul Weyrich's American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) recently honored the wife of Sun Myung Moon, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon.  The award was presented by Robin Brunelli, president of the National Foundation for Women Legislators and the wife of Sam Brunelli (CNP), the Director of ALEC and long-time member of the CNP.

Berit Kjos has frequently been a speaker on platforms which included CNP members. A promotional for a recent Prophezine conferences lists Berit Kjos, Gary Kah, Tim LaHaye and Lambert Dolphin (see profile below).

The Prophezine Prophecy Alliance profile on Berit lists CNP member organizations
that have given Berit a speaking/writing platform:

Constitutional Coalition [Donna Hearne],
Concerned Women for America/
Beverly LaHaye Live [Beverly and Tim LaHaye],
The 700 Club [Pat Robertson],
Point of View [Marlin Maddoux],
and (Citizens for Excellence in Education/
Robert Simmonds [Coalition on Revival]).
Compass Magazine (as in Square & Compass?) featured Larry Burkett and Berit Kjos on the cover with ads for Dallas Seminary with Chuck Swindoll,
Steeling of the Mind Conference with CNP members Alan Sears (Alliance Defense Fund),
John Ankerberg (Theological Research Institute),
and Chuck Missler.

Other CNP members who have written or spoken for Prophezine include

Chuck Missler and
David Breese.

A promotional for the 1997 Prophezine Conference in Los Angeles listed

Berit Kjos,
Gary Kah,
Tim LaHaye and
Lambert Dolphin:

The very recent Prophezine Conference of March 1999 featured as speakers:

Jack & Rexella Van Impe,
Hal Lindsey,
Peter LaLonde,
Grant Jeffrey (Bible Codes), Jr.,
J. R. Church (numerology),
Gary Kah,
Chuck Missler (CNP/Bible Codes),
Charles Capps (Word of Faith Teacher ordained by Kenneth Copeland).

Gary Kah was an informal speaker at the Discernment Conference and, as we see, is a frequent speaker for Prophezine and CNP conferences. On a radio talk show in Washington State, Mr. Kah once mentioned giving a presentation to the CNP. When a researcher from that state, Lu Haynes, called in to inquire about his objectionable participation at a CNP function, a break was suddenly announced and Mr. Kah never did respond to her question.

Since the Michigan Discernment conference, I have had opportunity to be in contact with a number of researchers who declined the private invitation. Through them I have learned some disturbing facts which never make it into print, for it appears that anyone who calls these ministries into account has been slandered, silenced or marginalized. One such researcher, Linda Sellers, originally broke the story on Jay Gary in 1993 and her documentation was used by numerous others to expose this New Age operative in the highest levels of the evangelical global network. However, one well known writer seems to have done so reluctantly. Berit Kjos protested to researcher Ginny Donovan after being pressured to write up the documentation on Jay Gary: "I can't publish this. I know Jay Gary - him and his wife Olgy. I've known them for years."

Other statements by Berit are excerpted from a report by David Harris:

The followng appeared on CompuServe Mail, 20-Jan-95, from Berit Kjos:

"'[Jay] Gary wants me to vouch for his good character and communicate to the world that he no longer associates with Muller [Robert Muller past Assistant Secretary General of the U.N. and a disciple of Bailey and Djwhal Khul-DLH]. I don't know how to respond to him. I see big diffrences (sic) in our world views. Yet he is repentant and humble-and I didn't want to just dismiss his problem. I'll continue to pray for wisdom."

CompuServe Mail, 18-Jan.-95, From: Berit Kjos [75221,3531]

"...a few days ago Jay Gary called me out of the blue. I had talked with him for a moment last summer when I ordered his book..."

Linda Sellers confronted Berit about the many references and footnotes in her books which promote New Age resources. Berit responded to this scriptural approach with hostility and a vicious campaign ensued on the part of the Discernment ministries to discredit Linda. Should anyone wish to receive the documentation that has been compiled on Berit Kjos' books, please contact Watch Unto Prayer.

Sarah Leslie continued to publish Berit's articles, reasoning that Berit has repented of the many errors and misleading resources promoted in her books, although no retractions have been forthcoming. Berit's repentance also seems less than credible when she speaks at conferences with members of the Council for National Policy.

Another link between the Discernment Ministries and Jay Gary seems to be Jackie Alnor, a friend of Jewel van der Merwe. Jackie's husband, William Alnor writes for the Spiritual Counterfeits Project. Bill Alnor also wrote "Soothsayers of the Second Advent" which was promoted by Jay Gary at the Adopt-A-People Consultation in 1994, along with New Age books by John Naisbitt and David Spangler. The text of Gary's address may be found at:

Tricia Tillin is a Discernment leader and popular speaker at Discernment conferences. On her Cross + Word web site, under Discernment Links is listed Lambert Dolphin's Christian Resource Links and Lambert's Web Links:

A Watch Unto Prayer report on the disclosed that Lambert Dolphin, who we are told became a Christian in 1962, also directed the Stanford Research Institute project at the Great Sphinx in Egypt. In 1977 he traveled to Virginia Beach to negotiate funding from the Edgar Cayce Foundation for the SRI project at Giza and in 1983 helped to set up the Independent Mars Project' as consultant to NASA.

On a page of his website titled "Remote Viewing, Channeling, ESP - and the Power of God," Lambert Dolphin acknowledges a "wonderful and challenging career spanning some 30 years with a large and prestigious West Coast think tank. [SRI] Our projects at the lab were often multi-disciplinary and the climate was one where all sorts of diverse ideas could be exchanged freely. Our projects ranged over the broadest possible range." There are also references to Lambert Dolphin in The Message of the Sphinx, by Freemasons Hancock and Bauval:

"Back in Egypt in 1977, a year after the Viking images had first reached the Earth, Mark Lehner [A.R.E.'s 'man' at Giza] made contact with NASA's Dr. Lambert T. Dolphin, leader of the Stanford Research Institute project at the Sphinx ..." (p. 313)

Although Lambert Dolphin's web site mentions the government's involvement with remote viewers for espionage, he does not disclose that in 1977 he traveled to Virginia Beach to negotiate funding from the Edgar Cayce organization for the SRI project at Giza... nor that in 1983 he helped to set up the Independent Mars Project' as consultant to NASA and leader of the SRI project at the Sphinx.

"Later in 1977 Lambert Dolphin traveled to Virginia Beach to negotiate funding from the Edgar Cayce organization for a proposed new SRI project at Giza... In (1983) 'The Independent Mars Project' was set up in the United States by Richard Hoagland, a former NASA consultant, and Lambert Dolphin. " (p. 313-14)

Chapter 5 of "The Message of the Sphinx" begins with the statement in the A.R.E. Magazine Venture Inward (1985) of a Dr. Mark Lehner of the Edgar Cayce Foundation: "There has been one systematic search, a sort of direct shot at finding the Hall of Records, when the Edgar Cayce Foundation funded SRI International." (p. 85)

Lambert Dolphin has a web site that is linked with David di Sabatino's "History of the Jesus Movement," a book dedicated to Lonnie Frisbee, the hippie who in the late 60's became Youth Pastor of Chuck Smith's Calvary Chapel. Lonnie Frisbee was the leader of the Jesus Movement who wielded spiritual power like that manifested in the Toronto/Pensacola revivals. Through his influence and affiliation with Chuck Smith and later John Wimber, Lonnie Frisbee is credited with spawning the Calvary Chapel and Vineyard Movements.

There are several links to Calvary Chapel on Lambert's Web Links. If you check out Lambert Dolphin's web site, you'll also find

Kabbalist Chabad Lubavitch in Cyberspace among other surprises.
Listed among Tricia Tillin's recommendations are several articles on the
Torah Codes, which are occult numerology, or Gematria,
and the websites of CNP members,
Grant Jeffrey and
Chuck Missler, who promote the popular Bible Codes, the Christianized version of occult numerology:

Part VI of the Hebrew Roots series [V. Dillen] documented Peter Michas' statement that he received his education in the Hebrew Roots of Christianity through the Chabad-Lubavich organization:

"I ended up going into a place call Chabbad House which was run by the Lubavich, the ultra-orthodox rabbis. This was the beginning of my education in the Hebraic roots of the Bible. As my knowledge of the Hebraic context of Scripture grew, my God was being revealed to me in ways that cannot even be explained. I realize that if God had not preserved the Jewish people and their books (including the Bible), most spiritual truth and surely all of the culture of Scripture would have been lost to tradtions of men." (Preface, p. 19)

Dr. Eliezer Segal of the University of Calgary describes Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidism as a Kabbalist movement. The doctrines of the Lubavitch Movement are derived from the Kabbalah. In fact, the term "Chabad" is an acronym for three of the sefirot-chokmah, binah and Da'at:

"The name 'Chabad' is a Hebrew acronym for the expression 'Chokmah,' 'Binah" and 'Da'at' - Wisdom, Intelligence and Knowledge. These Kabbalistic terms are central to the distinctive intellectual theology of the movement..."

There are other connections within the discernment ministries to

the Jesus Movement and
Calvary Chapel,
Jay Gary,
the British-Israel Movement and
presently the CNP.

The headwaters of this polluted stream of ministries seems to be the British-Israel movement. Interestingly, The Olive-Hebrew Roots CDRom Encylopedia promoted by HR organizations is published by the Saltshakers Ltd out of London.

In my research, I have often wondered why individuals and organizations which seem to be in opposition to one another, also have secret connections. The answer, I believe, is found in the Dialectical Process, which requires the dynamic of controversy to lead the masses to a synthesis of values. If there is a principle of social manipulation of which Christians should learn to recognize, it is the Dialectical Process which has eclipsed the peaceful atmosphere that once characterized the Church of Jesus Christ. This phenomenon is the subject of "The Third Way: Politics of the Radical Center."

The objective of the dialectical process is set up front organizations to instigate controversy and then to control both sides of the issue. Appointed leaders who are recognized as authorities on the issues operate as facilitators of the discussion. Should any independent researchers seek to address issues which are "off-limits," a serious campaign is launched to discredit them.

The Discernment ministries major in exposure of certain areas of deception, such as the Roman Catholic Church, which is portrayed as the Whore of Babylon?  But have we ever read an expose by the Discernment ministries of the Merovingian conspiracy which works through the secret societies of Rosicrucianism and Freemasonry?  Why do these ministries support the Hebrew Roots Movement and discredit anyone who dares to expose its connections with the Kabbalah, which is also the basis of Freemasonry and Rosicrucian doctrine?

Constance Cumbey first pointed out that the "Body of Christ" in general is a least one or 2 major movements behind the enemy at any given time. There is a good reason for this, if one truly understands the psychology involved in deception. The conspiracy has various operations in place early on to define the issues and to control any opposition that may arise should someone suspect the real deception. The worst opposition to the exposure of the Hebrew Roots Movement has come from the discernment ministries which secretly promote HRM. While they have exposed some errors, they are promoting others of a more sinister nature. As Howard Philips so aptly stated, these organizations have been positioned as Gauleiters, strategically placed and poised to receive the refugees who are fleeing the local churches, which their accomplices in crime have systematically destroyed. It is the dialectical process at work to neutralize and colonize the Christian Church.

To date, no one we know of has really exposed HRM and at this point the Church is being swept into its tentacular operation seemingly without a protest. As usual, we seem to be light years behind the true conspiracy.
