Section two.

TWO GREAT COUNTERFEITS OF THE DEVIL.

The two greatest counterfeits of the devil, the dragon, that old Serpent of the Garden, are the fake "Kingdom of God" and its fake ruler "Christ" (the Antichrist). Yet, he has convinced countless church goers and New Agers alike that they will in some way help the Almighty to inaugurate His Kingdom. They believe that they are already in God's Kingdom, which only has to be taken by faith from the wicked. In Christendom this is called "Kingdom Now", or "Dominion Theology". This belief is a great blasphemy in fact, as the Kingdom of God is an eternal verity concerning the Holiness, Majesty, Dominion, Glory and Lordship of our awesome Creator. He no more needs the Church to set up the Kingdom than a mountain needs a refrigerator to make snow on its peak! This too is the blasphemy of self-effort and self-glory.

WHAT IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD?
Here the Scriptures soar to magnificent heights, as they describe the mysteries of the Kingdom of the Creator.
No wonder Satan wants to create a make-believe Kingdom, with the gullible going along for the ride.

"And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you that ye who have followed me, in the regeneration, when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last, and the last shall be first." (Matt. 19:28-30).

There are many questions which can appear great mysteries to we mortals, all of which are answered in the Scriptures! These could be an example: What exactly is the Kingdom of God? Where will the redeemed of this age be when the Kingdom comes to earth? How does the Rapture fit into the Kingdom? Is it true that the saved people of the Church Age are going to reign with Christ Jesus in the Kingdom? As I contemplate the petrifying Tribulation period, I wonder what we saved people will be doing while all that is happening. Does the Bible reveal this?

THY KINGDOM COME...

Whether they know it or not the end of the nominal "christian" is the Antichrist, and his temporary kingdom of "God". The end of the redeemed Christians, those washed in the Blood of the Lamb, is Christ Jesus and His Kingdom.

This quote from Eric Sauer is excellent:

"It is the unmistakable teaching of the Bible that the goal of history is not the product of history, that the Kingdom of God does not reach sovereignty through growth and ascent but only after world-wide collapse and catastrophe. Lawlessness will take the upper hand, the love of many will grow cold (Matt.24:12). And when the Son of man comes He will find but little faith on earth (Luke 18:8).
Not Christianising of the world with consequent Christianising of civilization, but increasing enmity of the world unto the expulsion of Christianity by civilization - this is the path foretold by Biblical prophecy."
("The Triumph of the Crucified",p.117).

It is not because the world is not repentant and ready enough for the Gospel, or Christian enough, that Christ has not yet come to rule. He has not come yet because the world is not unbelieving enough! Read the Bible carefully and you will see this is so. (11 Tim. 3:1-4; 4:3,4; 11 Pet.3:3; 1 Tim.4:1-3). Why is this? It has to do with the very basic principle of God's plan as revealed in the Word. The Divine Sovereignty has decreed that all things in our world must reach their ripeness, righteous things as well as unrighteous (Matt.13:29,30; Rev.14:15,18). The EVIL of this earth must reach its "ripeness" for Divine judgement to come in the wrath of God unleashed in the Tribulation. Jesus Christ will not call His Church home to Himself until the Trib. is ready to commence, He removes the restraining influence of the witnessing and praying Church at the Rapture. Christ Jesus cannot bring His Millennial Reign until the rebels of this planet have been put down, and judgement comes on the Gentile nations and the Jewish nation. It is only because of unparalleled EVIL that God takes such a step as the Tribulation.

How will the affairs of the Lord Jesus Christ culminate?

.....NOT by any of these measures:

.....NOT by reconciliation of the world's system to God - but by the escalation of God's conflict with it.

.....NOT by the glorifying of the Church or even by the glorifying of human enterprise and advancement -
.......but by the sheer collapse of the same.

.....NOT by God coming to some sort of agreement with the world's political system,
........"let Me put My commandments over your constitutions and you keep on ruling with My laws in place."

.....NOT by a conversion of the world's political system to "Christianity" - but by a complete overthrown of it.
.......The kingdom of this world will be burst asunder by the manifestation of the Kingdom of God, like a glass shattered by a mighty voice! (Daniel 2:34,35; Rev.19:11-21). The history of man will not end in the world's system being .perfected, as the Dominionists, the Kingdom Now people fondly imagine.

Here is how Eric Sauer expresses it:

......."The 'ascending' line will be suddenly torn to pieces; the stormers of heaven will be thrust down by heaven (Gen.11:4;, 6; Rev.18)." (ibid.p.117).

THERE IS A KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH, COMING SOON!

The Kingdom of God has always been throughout Eternity, it is His Reign over the universe, over everything which has been created, His control over time, the cosmos, heaven and earth. That Kingdom has not held sway over the fallen earth, but when Jesus Christ comes again HE will take the rule, and the Kingdom will be manifest on our planet at last. This will be the Kingdom of the Son of Man. See the included chart.

The Church is not the Kingdom of God, it is the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven is a New Testament terminology, found in Matthew's Gospel 32 times. Its dominion is over Christendom, it has limited time and rule. Matt.13:1-50; 18:23- 25; 20:1-16; 22:1-14; 25:1-30.

NO church group or international unity of Christendom could in the lest way influence, bring about, or aid the setting up of the Kingdom of the Almighty God on earth! The very glory of God will be on earth at that time, the Kingdom manifest on earth means the "Lord is there" (Ezek.48:35), and "the tabernacle of God is with men" (Rev.21:3). The coming Kingdom is a period of world-wide regeneration. (Matt.19:28). There will be visible glory of all creation - plants, animals, humans, the geography of the earth. This is because the Lord is manifest in our earth (Ezek.10:18,19; 11:22,23; Mal.3:1; Ezek.45:1-5).

THE DIVINE KING.

The New World Order with its fearful identification plots, satellites, laser weaponry, interference with weather patterns, mind-washing techniques, bully-boy "peace" forces and One Mind One World is a mighty force to be reckoned with - for human beings! Jesus Christ the rightful Ruler of the real New World Order counts them as less than nothing! Of course the central figure of the Kingdom of God on earth, the Kingdom of the Son of Man, is none other than our own Precious Saviour. The wonderful One we rely upon in our simple, everyday activities. The One we sing about, "No one ever cared for me like Jesus." It is so good to be on the winning side! It will be sweet indeed to have the One who is closer than a heart-beat now, reigning as Supreme Potentate in the Millennial Reign for a thousand years.

The Kingdom of the Son of Man will reveal all of Christ's personal Glory and Majesty. He will be as the morning breaking fresh and golden after a dark night of storm and fright. The Bible rings with the news of the Coming King, the ideal, Perfect One, the Ruler the world has wanted since Adam messed things up in the Garden of Eden. Read all the references, we need never fear the New Age New World Order.
 

Christ Jesus is: Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14; Matt.1:23);
The Triumphant One (Phil.2:11)
the victorious Hero (Zeph. 3:17);
The one Head over all (Eph.1:10; Hos.1:11; Ezek.37:24; Zech.14:9).

CHRIST RULES OUTWARDLY.

He is the One who unites His people, no more will people on earth be divided, this will be the true One World of harmony and love.

Christ is: The true David (Ezek.37:22-24; 34:23,24; Hos.3:5). The Prince of Peace, there is no peace without His Rule. He rules from his ancestor's throne (Luke 1:32; Matt.22:45; Isaiah 9:6,7). The Banner of the Nations, as the root of Jesse (Isaiah 11:10). The lofty Tree of the nations, as the topmost twig of God's cedar (Ezek.17:22-24).

CHRIST IS INWARDLY, AS PRIEST-KING:

The One who has the Sevenfold Spirit, as the shoot out of the stem of Jesse (Isaiah 11:1,2; Rev.5:6; 4:5). Isaiah 11 :1,2 shows that the spiritual equipment of the Lord Jesus Christ: As the Priest-King he has a golden-silver crown (Zech.6:11-13). He is Zemach, the Branch of the Lord. He is Jehovah our Righteousness, as the Divine King and Redeemer (Jer.23:5,6; 33:15,16).

WHERE WILL THE CHURCH BE IN THE TRIBULATION?

Before Christ Jesus can finish with the history of the earth in its present fallen state, He must put down all rebellion in the Tribulation judgement. The redeemed of this age will go to the Lord in the Rapture before the Trib, but where will they be during the seven year period. What has Scripture revealed about that period? After all, you and I are saved (are you?) and this is our future, not the Tribulation. I want to know about my future, and I'm sure you do too.

REMEMBER, EVIL IS RIPE UPON THE EARTH!!!

The Tribulation only comes about because the wickedness of the earth has reached its final climax. God then Raptures the Church, and pours out His judgement on the Godless, wicked nations. There will be no world-wide revival, although there are always pockets of Christians who respond to God in repentance, who then are renewed by the Holy Spirit, this is Scriptural revival. There will be no Reformation either, no, the Bible shows a Great Falling Away into doctrinal error. The verse in 11 Thess.2:3 which shows the "falling away" is telling us that there will be (Greek), "apostasia", which is a defection from the truth, a forsaking of the truth of God's Word - wide spread apostasy! The apostates will be so adamant about their error that they form a huge unity. This will degenerate into a religious persecution of holocaust proportions - this is the Tribulation, as well as God's judgements. This is one of the reasons God brings His Trib.

When the Bride of Christ, the true Church, is Raptured, a glorious future begins for those who have been saved in this present time. We will now examine this in depth.

THE HOPE OF THE CHURCH.

We may look at the horrors of the closing net of the fowler which is trapping the whole world, by this I mean the Plan of the Illuminate, the New Age New World Order, and feel sick with abhorrence. Naturally enough, BUT GOD is rich in mercy, and will not, even in the Trib., leave the world without witness to His love. God is rich in mercy to those whom accept Christ as Saviour as well, and takes them to unspeakably thrilling events in Glory, and as well on the earth.

While the Trib. happens on earth, we will have experienced the first resurrection
(1 Thess.4:13-18), then we appear before the judgement seat of Christ (11 Cor.5:10), and take part in the marriage supper of the Lamb (Rev.19:7,8) and finally we will accompany the coming World Ruler in His judgement (1 Cor.6:2,3; Rev.19:14).

IT ALL STARTS WITH THE RAPTURE.

People today often try to ridicule the Rapture by saying there is no word for Rapture in the Bible! This is simply untrue. Here I will quote entirely from Eric Sauer:

"At that time the same power which moves the whole universe will act upon our body! 'He will change our body of humiliation that it may be fashioned like unto his body of glory, according to the power by which he is able to subdue the whole world' (Phil.3:21).

Our word "rapture" comes from the Latin for "HARPAZO", "raptos".

ANOTHER IMPORTANT WORD.

The other word to do with the Rapture is the term used in 1 Thess.4:17, translated "to meet." It is APANTESIN, "meeting." From the preposition, APO, "from", ANTAO, "to meet,' meaning "to come into the presence of, to meet." To leave a place and go to another to meet someone who is coming toward you. Zodhiates tells us it also means to reply to a question put forward. It involves responding to an action of another. Christ Jesus takes the initiative towards us, we respond to Him when He comes to take His own to Himself. The sheep know His voice.

TWO IMPORTANT CHANGES.

We will be caught away from the earth, and we will caught up to Christ, and also to one another. What a day of rejoicing that will be! Let's look at the "caught away" firstly.

CAUGHT AWAY.

Away from all distress about the NWO, and sickness, pain, poverty, all this will be ended (11 Cor.5:2,4; Phil.3:21). Persecution, ridicule for our faith, oppression from Satan and humans will be ended, no more sinful world system, no more fear of death (Rom.6:6; Rom.7:24). REST, the "day of the redemption" has come. (Eph.4:30; Rom.8:23).

CAUGHT UP.

Not only we, of this age, will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, but the dead in Christ will be united to us in this glorious time. The Church of Christ Jesus will be completed for the first time in history, all together, not a union on earth but in the air! This is Church Unity, believers. Can you imagine meeting with the saints who have passed on in death, and the saints still on the earth who we know only by name? Hudson Taylor of China will be there, Paul, Peter and John, the authors of days gone by, Jessie Penn-Lewis, Spurgeon, Torrey, the martyrs who were burned at the stake - they will all be there. From all lands and tongues, saints who have lived and died in persecution from behind the Iron Curtain, from behind the Bamboo Curtain. English and American believers who we know now only by their books and magazines. Christian loved ones who have died will be there - that mother, father, brother, sister, husband or wife, that dearly missed child. We shall be immersed in the love of the Lord and His redeemed. It will make all the home-comings of soldiers after wars, millions of them through history, pale into nothingness in comparison.

We shall be ALL be caught up to be with Christ forever, never to leave Him - and He will descend for US, rush to meet us! 1Thess.5:9. He will present the completed, glorified Church to "Himself", the whole Body will join the Head. (Eph.5:27). This will be to perfect His own glory as the Redeemer (Eph.1:22,23). Some dare to say today that to trust in Christ Jesus and His promise of the Rapture is to be "wimps" and "cowards"! No, to not believe and trust in the Rapture is to deny the right of Christ Jesus to be glorified in the Redeemed. What kind of Saviour would He be, if He could not rescue His own from the wrath unleashed upon the Godless and rebellious? His glory is that He can, and will.
(John 14:2,3).

TRANSFIGURATION and BLESSED TRIUMPH!

Whilst the Tribulation is proceeding on earth, the redeemed will have been transfigured,
blessed and would have entered into triumph.

The Transfiguration of the Body. Our "body of humiliation" will have become a "body of glory." (Phil.3:21). We are citizens of heaven right now, not citizens of this evil world. (Phil.3:20). The word "conversation" is "citizenship", Greek, POLITEUMA. This signifies the status, the condition of a citizen. At the Rapture we will be bodily what we are already positionally, of the Commonwealth of Heaven - "from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ." There are those who declare that we must work as Christians to save this planet and make a Christianised global government, for our children and grandchildren's sake. But this world is a disaster, and not getting any better. We should be praying for the salvation of our loved ones, and working with God to fit them for Heaven.

The Triumph over the Enemy. The Rapture is a Triumph beyond merely escaping the wrath of God, and the terror of the Antichrist. It is actually the time of TRIUMPH over the forces of Satan. Do we want to have dominion over the world, and defeat the forces of evil? The Rapture will do this, NOT the Church rising up to take a political and military victory
of an earthly nature. Where does the Bible tell us the base of Enemy operations is? How do the wicked military, political, humanistic leaders gain their power and authority? Ephesians 6:12 explains that the AIR, or atmosphere of this world, is the base camp of Enemy activity. It shows that the rulers of this world are controlled by the Satanic forces in the AIR, the atmosphere of the planet. The air is at present ruled by evil spiritual powers.

Satan is termed "the prince of the power of the air" (Eph.2:2, compare this with Eph.6:12). We meet the Lord in the AIR, or atmosphere of the planet, this is the very headquarters of ol' Snake-eyes and his crew! Satan has already been conquered by the Cross of Calvary, and now the meeting of all ages occurs in Satan's headquarters - the Triumphant One joined forever to His victorious hosts of saints. This is the time of the Overcoming Church winning the total victory through the Conquering Saviour! Not on the earth, with the Church taking a mere political seat in the UN - or some such nonsense. The Rapture is not a defeat for the Church, as the Dominionists say, it is a VICTORY of immense significance.

"Therefore the crowning of the persecuted takes place
at the headquarters of their defeated Persecutor." (Sauer).

"Awake and rejoice, ye who lie in the dust; for thy dew is as the dew of the heavenly lights, and the earth will again bring forth the shades to the light of day " (Isaiah 26:19; comp. 35:10; 51:11).
 

JUDGEMENT BEGINS WITH THE HOUSE OF GOD.

There will be judgement to go through at the Bema Seat of Christ, but we have been saved by Grace, and Perfect Love is the Judge! It will be a time of shame for those who have simply accepted Salvation, and have then gone on to live selfish lives. It will a time of counting the cost over lost opportunity, but the tears wept will be remedial - we will all want to be found perfect in Christ for eternity. We will also be so aware of love for others that we will applaud their wonderful exploits for Christ whilst still on earth, and we will rejoice with all the saints.

DETAILS OF THIS.

Remember, that if we judge ourselves now, we will not be judged on that matter before the Bema Seat. 1 Cor.11:31. God Himself brings chastisement into our lives here, so that we will be able to right ourselves. Do not despise the merciful chastisement of the Lord in this life!

The TIME of the judgement of believers - the "day of Christ" (1 Cor.1:8).
WHO is the JUDGE? - Our Beloved Christ Jesus (11 Tim.4:8).
WHO will be judged at that time? - ALL of us, all the saved (11 Cor.5:10).
Will it be a SEVERE judgement? - Yes, BY FIRE (1 Cor.3:13).
WHAT will we be judged on? - our FAITHFULNESS (1 Cor.4:1-5).
WHAT is the RESULT to be? -
NOT loss of salvation, loss of reward or the gaining of reward (1 Cor.3:14,15).
What is the GOAL in all this? - glory, crowns, to be given in gratitude back to Christ Jesus for HIS glory (1 Pet.5:4).
 

ARE YOU FAITHFUL?

The present time is a great trial of our faithfulness. There are real Christians all around us who are not staying faithful to Christ. As we see the churches go deeper into apostasy, the interaction between the New Age and the churches of Christendom will increase. The New World religion of pluralism, joining all in a multicultural unity, is already dragging
many denominations down into the mire. Where will you stand? It is going to be tough to be on the outer, while everyone else is having such a "good time", with global marches, denominational parties, exciting trips overseas for conferences, enjoying "revival" meetings with thousands attending, helping to "save the earth" - and the "fundamental bigots" are left out in the cold! Nevertheless, we must be faithful to God's Word, faithful to Christ as the Way, the Truth and the Life. NO MAN comes to the Father but by Christ Jesus as Saviour. It is not popularity, not following the crowd, it is faithfulness to Biblical teaching that matters.

What areas of our lives will be judged at the Bema Seat of Christ? Let us consider prayerfully, we do not want to ashamed at the Lord's coming:

FAITHFULNESS involves the whole of our lives, (1 Cor.4:1-5; Matt.25:21,23). It is not the service success we enjoy, but the character of the server. A pastor of a fellowship with two thousand members, may be a bad tempered, money-hungry man, with secret vices! It is not only what we have done, but also what we didn't do, when we had the chance (James 4:17). No use trying to cover up any sin, or nasty, unloving behaviour, the Lord Himself will uncover what we seek now to keep hidden. (Luke 12:2-3). The opposite is gloriously true, what we uncover before Him, He will cover up. (1 John 1:9; Heb.8:12).

No matter what we are doing, teaching, preaching, giving aid to others, taking care of the family, earning our livings, eating and drinking - God takes note of the real person hidden away inside. The inner motives, the true state of the heart, the reasons why we said or did that thing, the very secrets of the soul, as you are lying in your bed at night, communing with your own self. (1 Cor.4:5; 1 Sam.16:7; Heb.4:13; Psalm 139).

THE CROWNS.

At the Bema Seat CROWNS will be awarded. Just briefly, we will look at these Crowns in order to check our own lives.

`Those who win the prize will have lived lives, not perfect of course, but with hearts that reImages perfect toward God - God looks on the heart! We may sin (we are, not one, sinlessly perfect) but we will avail ourselves of the cleansing of the Blood, when we fail and sin, see 1 John 1:5-10. This passage is speaking of the saved, and their fellowship with God, not the unsaved for salvation. We want to live pure, irreproachable lives (Phil.1:10; 1 Cor.1:7-9). ALL done by the Grace of God, through the new life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:11-13). These will win the prize (Phil. 3:10-14).

Others, though saved, are spiritually poverty stricken (Rev.3:17) they are the disapproved of the Lord (1 Cor.9:27), these will suffer loss. Let us look at the word translated "castaway" in 1 Cor.9:27. It is the Greek "adokimos", which is "disapproved." "Dokimos", is translated "approved" in Romans 14:18; 16:10, and other passages. In James 1:12 it is translated "tried." The prefix just changes it to a negative. Paul, in 1 Cor.9:27, is afraid that he will lose his crown, not his salvation. (Daniel 12:3; 1 Cor.3:14).
 

SALVATION DEPENDS ON OUR FAITH,
BUT CROWNS DEPEND UPON OUR FAITHFULNESS.

(1) The Crown of righteousness will be awarded to the victorious spiritual warrior (11 Tim.4:8).

(2) The unfading crown will be awarded to those who keep on under difficulties, running the Christian race with steadfastness. (1 Cor. 9:25-27).

(3) The crown of life is for those who will even face death to reImages faithful. They live their whole lives for the Lord, not given way in trials to compromise with the world in certain areas (Rev.2:10; James 1:12).

(4) The crown of honour is given to those who unselfishly serve others, not seeking glory and satisfaction for self (1 Thess.2:19; comp.3-6; Phil.4:1).

(5) The crown of glory is awarded to those who are examples to other Christians, in demeanour, actions and knowledge of the Word etc. Imagesly given to church leaders, who are nor greedy for money and fleshly honour, but are true shepherds of the flock. (1 Peter 5:3,4; 1 Cor.3:14)
 

HOW DO WE TELL
WHAT IS SALVATION OR REWARDS?

How can we tell when a passage is speaking of salvation or rewards for service?
These are easily distinguished, when a passage is about salvation it spoken of as a FREE GIFT, for instance John 4:10; Rom.6:23; Eph.2:8,9. When the passage is about rewards for the faithful, redeemed, servant, it speaks of WORKS, see Matt.10:42; Luke 19:17; 1 Cor.9:24,25; 11 Tim.4:7,8; Rev.2:10;22:12.
 

THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB.

We will deal but briefly with this sublime event, although a whole study could be done just on this consummating wonder - what a thrill to be part of the Bride of Christ, the Church!

Revelation 19: 7-9:
"Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.
And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God."

SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Once we revelled in self-righteousness, here on earth. Even the most faithful believer has periods when they fondly imagine they are "good", and living righteous lives - somehow by self effort. But at this Marriage Supper we will all be clothed with the garments of salvation. Our old clothing of self-righteousness will now be seen as mere "filthy rags", we will gladly accept only the "fine linen" of Christ's own life as ours, forever. We have truly become One Body with our heavenly husband, the twain have become One.

So stupendous is the fact of the coming Marriage of the Lamb that John, the author of the book, emphasises that it is "true" in verse nine. GOD has shown it to him! YOU will be there, if you trusting in Christ alone as Saviour and Lord, if you are washed in the Blood of the Lamb. This great and glorious union will indeed be "blessed", and God Himself guarantees that it WILL happen. Fear not that you will not be prepared at that time, for God Himself will make you ready (11 Cor.5:10; Ephesians 5:30-32; Ephesians 1:3,4). These future events should occupy our hearts, not the approaching Tribulation, although of course we are deeply concerned for the lost and we must warn them. The Rapture, the Bema Seat, and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb are the Church's future - PRAISE THE LORD!

"I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me in garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels" (Isaiah 61:10).

"Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God" (Romans 7:4).

The evil Kosmos is planning horrifying weapons against mankind! God surely does not want this to destroy humanity, or to see evil have any kind of eternal victory. We look at such things as the New World Order with righteous indignation and revulsion. How does the Christian Church take part in the victory of the Lord Jesus Christ, and how is the Church a part of Almighty God's Plan for the coming Ages? This thrilling subject will close our studies in section two. You and I, as individuals, must understand clearly where we fit in, and avoid presumption and moving against the Plan of God in our zeal for truth and justice. Many are being presumptuous and acting out of God's Plan today. We pray that we may not join them!
 

THE ETERNAL PLAN OF ALMIGHTY GOD.

The Cross of Jesus Christ is in reality the ONLY WAY for any to not perish. The ONLY WAY for any peace, safety or rescue from the chaos of this planet. Everywhere we encounter chaos! We earth- dwellers hang precariously between temporal life and physical death every moment of our sojourn here. We try to arrest chaos at all points, we make road laws for example, but still millions are slaughtered or maimed by automobiles every year. We seek cures for all the ills of this fallen earth, but we die of plaques, cancers, aids and 'flues by the millions every year. The Kosmos' politics, societies, religions, nations, farming, business ventures, banking and all the rest - are in ORDERED CHAOS! Self effort only shows how foolish we are to try to go it alone without GOD!

THE CHURCH AND EVANGELISATION.
THE NEW PEOPLE OF GOD.

Evangelisation is God's answer at this point of the history of the world.
Here we will go to a quote from Eric Sauer:

"The message of the cross advances through the world. The present age is of especial significance. Its purpose is the calling out of the church. Everything in it is directed to this end. The Goal of the Call. The programme for the present time is not the transforming of mankind and the creating of Christian nations. This will not take place before the coming visible kingdom of God (Isa.2:3,4; 19:21- 25). But the present work of God is 'to take OUT of the nations a people for His name' (Acts 15:14),

that is, not Christianising the races but evangelising the races, for the purpose of calling out a SUPER-national people of God (Matt.28:19; Mark 16:15). "There is neither Jew or Greek, neither slave not freeman...but ye are altogether one in Christ' (Gal.3:28; Col.3:11).

In place of the former twofold division of mankind there thus arises a threefold division (1 Cor. 10:32), and to Israel and the peoples of the world there is added the church as a 'third race.' Thenceforth each who is not a Christian in the New Testament sense (acts 11 :22), is either a Jew or a Gentile. A fourth possibility does not exist.

A general nominal ChristenDOM has no justification in the New Testament. It is apostasy from ChristianITY and is after all only a 'monstrous mental delusion.'"  (P. 58, "Triumph of the Crucified," Erich Sauer).

There is a growing presumption amongst the members of ChristenDOM that they are called to create Christian nations. This is apostasy! There are many of these that believe that ChristianDOM should rise to political power, that they should even form militia groups to gain power by the use of the gun! Often these "Christians" think that God is behind their actions, and that if they believe, God is duty bound to give them absolute success politically! This is not the way to defeat the emerging occult power of the NWO, with its Images front organisation, the UN. Of course, we must all defend ourselves with weapons if our loved ones and country men are in danger. But, this does not mean that the Church is called to take over the government, or commit an act of rebellion by forming militia groups.
 

A FUTURE LEGAL ADMINISTRATION.

The ChristianITY, those who make up the true Body of Christ, who are born-again, are the "ecclesia" (Matt.16:16; Eph.1:22). By the mighty proclamation of the Gospel, these are have taken into the fellowship of the Redeemed (1 Tim.2:7). There is no Jew or Gentile in this Body of Christ, for all are the ecclesia (Eph.2:11-22). These facts are immensely important, as we view the Church's future and place in God's Plan.

(1) The ecclesia is not of earthly citizenship, it is of the heavenly citizenship.

(2) It is Divinely made into the Sons of God (John 1:12,13).

(3) These, thus ennobled will become the future legal administration of the kingdom of heaven, on earth.
This is the true political rule of ChristianITY, in the Millennial Reign of Christ (1 Cor.6:2,3).

(4) The word ecclesia is, in the Greek, "ek" and "kaleo" -

"I call." This can be applied in a political sense to the political life of the Greeks, where the word denoted in the general legislative (according to Sauer) "called out by a herald from the populace, composed of all free, irreproachable citizens entitled to vote."

(6) The call of the Greek political "ecclesia" was OUT of the world. So the Church is called out of the world
(Rom.11;7; 11 Pet.1:10).

(7) There were three conditions in the Greek "ecclesia":

CITIZENSHIP- .........our citizenship is in heaven (Phil.3:20).
FREEDOM - .............slaves were not admitted to the Greek "ecclesia."
..............................Christians are no longer slaves to sin (Rom.6:20; Gal.5:13).
IRREPROACHABLE - No criminal had a right to be in the Greek "ecclesia".

We, the Church, are justified by trust in Christ Jesus.

We are declared NOT GUILTY (Rom.3:24).
 

A MIGHTY POLITICAL FUTURE IN CHRIST JESUS.

Yes, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has a place in politics - but not yet! Our governmental rule is in the Millennium, not before. Our job now is to win people by the preaching of the Gospel, to join the ecclesia, the Called Out Ones of the Church Age.

THE CHURCH:

Has as its foundation CHRIST (1 Tim.3:16);
Its mystery is CHRIST, its BUILDING (Eph.3:3,4,9; 2:11-22);
CHRIST'S fellowship is its LOVE (Eph.5:31,32);
Its strength is not the might of weapons.
Its strength is the indwelling CHRIST (Col.1:26,27).
Its HOPE for glory and victory, is not political power in this world!
It is the RAPTURE, the place of victory in the atmosphere, the transformation, the defeat of Satan and his hordes (1 Cor.15:51).
Its FINAL GLORY is CHRIST'S eternal triumph, as King and Priest.
(Eph.1:9,10; Phil.2:10,11).

UNTIL THE RAPTURE, we are to preach Christ Jesus, and his victory on the Cross. As to the evil New World Order?

NOTES FROM ERICH SAUER.

For the student's files the following quotes from Eric Sauer have been included. The book by Sauer was translated from the German in 1951. Sauer wrote before the Second World War, at the time when Hitler was rising in power in Germany. No doubt Sauer considered Hitler would be a evil influence, but he had little knowledge of Hitler's role as a future pre-runner to Antichrist. From the book, "Triumph of the Crucified."

IV. The Forerunners of the Antichrist.

1. In Bible history these, among others, were:

Cain - the originator of religious war - the anti-Abel. As the first "war" was, as it were, a religious war (Gen. 4:4-8), so will the last of this age, the Anti-christian (Rev. 19:19).

Lamech - the boaster who deified "I" - the anti-Enoch,. Deifying self is the Lamech character of Antichristendom. (Gen.4:23,24; Rev.13:1; II Thess. 2:4).

Nimrod - the founder of world power. With Nimrod began, with the Antichrist will end, the history of Babylonian world power. Babel on the Euphrates is the forerunner of Imperial Rome, and Imperial Rome of the antichristian End-time (Gen.10:8-12; Rev.17:1-14).

Balaam - the seducer into fornication - the Anti-Moses, as the Rabbis have said
(Num. 31:16; II Pet. 2:15; Rev. 17:4,15; 18:3,4; 19:2).

Goliath - the blaspheming popular orator - the anti-David, the representative terrorist. So the Rabbis (I Sam.17:8, 10, 25; Dan. 7:25; Rev. 13:6).

Antiochus Epiphanes - the devastator of the sanctuary. He is the chief type of the Antichrist (Dan.8: 11; 9:27; Rev. 11:7; 13:7). As such he is the "little horn" of the third world empire (Dan. 9:9-14), even as the Antichrist himself is the "little horn" of the fourth world empire (Dan.7:23-25). In Dan. 11:21-45 the two merge into one.

2. In church history and world history the following are forerunners:

Nero - the persecutor of Christians (Rev. 13:7; 17:6). Regarded as Antichrist by the first Christians. "Neron Kesar" (Nero Caesar) written in Hebrew letters, has the numerical value 666.

The Emperors of Rome - representative of world power (Rev. 17:3,9). Comp. Kesar Romim, "Caesar of the Romans," in Hebrew letters = 666.

Mohammed - the false prophet; as was considered by many believers at the beginning of the Middle Ages.

The Papacy - the sham religion, was regarded as Antichrist by the early evangelical churches of the Middle Ages (Waldenses, Wicliffites, Hussites), also by Dante, Luther and the Reformers, Bengel, and others.

Napoleon - the world conqueror. In so far as Napoleon represented absolute rule, which had grown out of radicalism, he is certainly a type of the Antichrist.

These are all advance messengers of the Antichrist.

Two lines run through the history of mankind: the line of Christ and the line of Antichrist, the line of the Woman's seed and that of the serpent. The Christ line begins with Adam, passes via Golgotha, and leads to the heavenly Jerusalem. The Antichrist line begins with Cain, passes via Babel, and leads to the lake of fire. Each of us today belongs to one or the other line and is at the same time the preparer of his own future. He is introducing and furthering his own final completion, of which he is both type and pre-representation. He is either of Christ or of the Antichrist.

NOTES FROM DAVE HUNT.
Dave Hunt's book, "Whatever Happened to Heaven," p.p. 233-234, has some interesting comments on the Dominionist "Christians" who seek to take over the technology of this world. The Bible makes it plain that ChristenDOM will control the Beast, for a short while in the Trib.(Rev.17). This is the false One World Church, headed by the Catholic Church, and the apostate "Protestants." ChristenDOM has already declared that they want dominion over the entire planet, and they also desire to control all technology as well. Could a time come when the false Church uses the fearful technology of the NWO to unleash religious persecution against those who worship the true Christ, and honor God's Word?
It is Scripturally predicted that the Woman who rides the Beast (ChristenDOM, joined in union with the pagan religions) will be drunk with the blood of the martyrs!!!!

"DOMINION THROUGH TECHNOLOGY?
The contradictions in dominion theology are many and glaring. None is more incredible than the attenpt to equate modern technology with the Genesis dominion over lower creatures. Amazingly Demar and Leithart (Dominionist leaders), in spite of telling us that only the born-again Christians operating from heaven through Christ can exercise the dominion which was lost to Adam and recovered by Christ, nevertheless refer to technological advancements made by non-christias as 'the fruits of dominion.' Yet at the same time they try to give Christianity the credit for such inventions. The impression we get is that taking dominion or fulfilling the dominion task, which is now the essence of the Great Commission, also involves technological advancement....
The more logically we try to apply dominion theology, the wore absurd it becomes. Certainly there is no greater example, by their own definition, of what they call 'dominion in action,' than the atomic bomb. What could be more fundamental than taking dominion over the atom itself! ... Are we to assume that the hydrogen bomb will one day be given to Christians by God to enable them more effectively to 'destroy unbelieving cultures' and thus fulfil the Great Commission by completeing the dominion task
of taking over the godless?"
