There are many unfulfilled prophecies which will come to pass in the future. The prophecies of the Bible which have been already fulfilled, happened exactly as God declared, 100% literally!!! So too will the future prophecies. A brief outline of some of these makes thrilling study, some of them involve the redeemed of the Church Age.
YET TO BE FULFILLED:
(1) The Rapture of the CHURCH.(1 Cor. 15:51-58; 1 Thess 4:13-18).
(2) The great revival of the Roman Empire with its Ten Nation Union (perhaps this may be global regions under the control of this empire?). (Dan.7:7,24; Rev. 13:1; 17:3,12,13).
(3) The rise of a dictator in the Middle East. (Dan.7:8; Rev.13:1-8).
(4) A peace treaty confirmed seven years before the second Coming of Christ Jesus. When He comes He establishes the Millennial Kingdom on earth. (Dan.9:27).
(5) The evil One World Church under the Antichrist system to be established (Rev.17:1-15).
(6) Russia to attack Israel, possibly just after the start of the Trib. (Ezekiel 38, 39). There is no clear time-slot in Scripture, may even occur just before the Rapture.
(7) The Antichrist breaks the peace treaty with Israel. The full tyranny
of the NWO under Antichrist is unleashed,
three and a half years before the Second Coming of Christ, Mid-Trib.
(Dan.7:23; Rev 13:5-8, 17:16,17).
(8) The slaughter of many, many Tribulation saints and the Jews. (Rev.7:9-17; 13:15).
(9) Awesome, calamitous judgements from the Almighty God poured out on the unrepentant world (Rev.6:17).
(10) The Battle of Armageddon, Christ Jesus brings the wrath of God against the Gentile nations under Antichrist (Dan.11:40-45; Rev.9:13-21; 16:12-16). GLORIFIED CHURCH WILL BE THERE.
(11) Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matt,24:27-31; Rev.19:11).
GLORIFIED CHURCH WILL BE THERE. (Rev.19:14).
(12) Judgement of the wicked who refused the Saviour. (Ezekiel 20:33-38; Matt.25:31-46; Jude 14,15; Rev. 19:15-21; 20:1-4).
(13) Satan at last bound. NOTE: We cannot "bind" Satan before that period.
He is roaming the earth at this time freely, under the permissive will
of God. We can only "resist" Satan,
and he will flee, because we are in Christ Jesus,and He is in us! (Rev.
20:1-3).
(14) The saints will be resurrected, that is the Tribulation saints. The Church Age saints are resurrected at the Rapture. The dead rise first.
(15) The Millennial Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ begins. (Rev. 20:5,6).
GLORIFIED CHURCH WILL REIGN WITH CHRIST. (Rev.20:1-7).
(16) Rebellion at the end of the Millennium. (Rev.20:7-10).
ALL of the above has not yet occurred, but WILL happen as sure as there is a God! Be certain that you are saved, put your whole trust in Jesus Christ alone, He died for your sin. (John 1 :12; 3:36; Acts 16:31; 4:12).
DOES GOD WANT A ONE WORLD IN UNITY?
The Bible makes it clear that God has set nationalism in His order, not a One World with all national barriers removed. Most people today do not realise this, even Christians, and cannot see any wrong in establishing a global government under the United Nations. We need to be clear about this, and know what the Bible teaches. The internal protection of the people of a nation, against outside interference, is just under God. This is why we have armies and police forces, it is law enforcement in justice. (Genesis 9:6; Romans 13:1-4). The first world government attempt was at the Tower of Babel, and the rebels were scattered across the globe into various groups, and given a confusion of languages in order to keep them separate. Not separate in caring for other cultures and in nation-to-nation communication, but separate in order to keep fallen humanity from gaining a totalitarian rule over God's earth in globalization. The Tower of Babel's demise was the beginning of world-wide nationhood.
(1) The first unified "United Nations". (Gen.11: 1-9). (2) The real union of man is in Christ Jesus. The Church is unified in Him as Saviour, we are His Body. First union of the Church (Acts 2:1). This is NOT ecumenism, however, which is union based on man's efforts, error mixed with truth and no union in the Holy Spirit of God. (3) Man-made union may have vast riches and resources and energy. (Gen.11:3-4). They may have one mind, but if their motivation is wrong, then it will all finally come to nothing. (Gen.11:6).
WE WILL PROBABLY BE RAPTURED,
AND NOT PASS THROUGH DEATH.
We Christians at this point of history could well be the generation which is translated without passing through the "valley of the shadow of death." What a privilege! Our witness must be strong and bold, until we are called home. Should we pass through death before the Rapture, say in the next year or three, before the next millennium, it will be because of one of the following: (1) Our age span is ended, we were elderly. (2) Our work, allotted to us by the Almighty, is finished. Not ours to question God about this. (11 Timothy 4:7). (3) Our death brings glory to God. We may suffer martyrdom, but we can trust the Lord for dying grace, He is faithful. (John 21: 15-19). This was a prophecy concerning the manner of Peter's death as a martyr. Christ had foreknowledge of this, as He has about all of our deaths. Our times are in His hands. (4) May it not be true of ourselves, but physical death can come (not loss of salvation) because we have sinned in a way that makes our spoken witness a destructive farce. This is maximum Divine discipline.(1 John 5:16).
Hebrews 11 is the Faith Chapter, very appropriate at this stage in our study. Read also Heb.12:1-4.
THE END OF THE LEADER OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER.
The Antichrist,as leader extraordinaire of the One World One Mind global government, will have an extraordinary ending! He will so come to dominate the One World government that it will be as though only he was of any consequence. Germany under Hitler is a lesser example of this, he WAS the Nazi Party, he WAS the Promised Utopia of the Third Reich. Hitler finished in a bunker under the rubble of his destroyed country, an ignominious end. Antichrist's end will involve events that are so breathtaking that they are beyond any previous dictator's overthrow - by far. Writes Emery Bancroft, D.D.: "The passage of the Red Sea, the miracle of the manna, the dividing of the Jordan, and the conquest of Jericho are transactions whose lustre must grow dim before the incomparable marvel of the divine visitation upon the Antichrist. The end of the Man of Sin marks an era of sublime interest to all believers." ("Christian Theology." p.339).
(1) This time period will be the day of our triumphant manifestation, as sons of God, the time of the Manifest Sons of God has come. No, the Latter Rainites haven't got it right, the Church will not be soon manifest as the sons of God in this day, not in our present bodies. Only after we have put on Immortality at the Rapture, and the Tribulation period is almost over, THEN it will happen. (Romans 8:18-22). All creation will rejoice, in preparation for the Millennial Reign of their Lord Jesus.
(2) The Antichrist does not die in a bunker, get a bullet in the heart, crawl under a log and swallow poison etc. HE IS CONSUMED BY THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE LORD. At Christ's personal appearance the Beast of Revelation, the one called the amazing name "the Wicked One" will be literally consumed by Christ's brightness!
(2) This is a truly exalted doom. The Antichrist was the incarnation
of Satan, his was an astonishing rise to power, an almost unbelievable
popularity with the world's populace (everyone, yes everyone, but the elect,
worshipped him), he was blasphemous beyond any other being in history.
He caused so much suffering, death, horror and devastation -
and his finish is spectacular. The Bible verses below, taken together,
give the momentous event in prophecy:
(Isaiah 10: 16,17; 11:4; 14:18,19; 11 Thess. 2:8; Isaiah 30:33).
FEAR THOU NOT; FOR I AM WITH THEE...
In these times of waiting for Christ to call His Bride home, we should never be afraid. The One we serve is Mighty in Power, He is ALL-Powerful, Omnipotent. Let us close with the Bible verses about His power vibrating through our hearts and minds, and realise afresh how safe and secure we are under the protection of the Shepherd of the flock.
"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee: Yea, I will help thee; Yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10). We are weak, but He is strong. His strength is made perfect in weakness. Fear not to be weak in yourself.
READ ABOUT THE HEAVEN-BATHED SWORD.
No ordinary sword will our Saviour wield, it will kill His enemies with His Mighty Word of Power "out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he shall smite the nations" (Rev.19:15). See His power in the Word which is "sharper than any two-edged sword" (Hebrews 4:12).
This will not be the Jesus Christ who did not resist the death of the Cross, or His enemies, for our sakes. He was Saviour then, now He is Judge. He comes in judgement, He SPEAKS. Many cynics say, "Why doesn't God do something about the state of the world? God says nothing in the face of such evil as the holocaust and little babies being murdered by sex fiends. Where is your God?" In His Son, God will finally speak all right, in judgement against this wicked Kosmos. "The Lord will ROAR from Zion" (Amos 1:2).
"He shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with it he should smite the nations" (Rev.19:15).
"And then shall that Wicked (One) be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming" (11 Thess.2:8).
"He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. AMEN." (Rev.22:20-21).
