The Latter Days of the Church Age have brought havoc doctrinally amongst the denominations. Strange "revivals" and demonic experiences are pouring out upon the churches of apostate Christendom in a deluge which is beyond the expectations of any of the people of God, although we have realized that these Latter Days would bring "doctrines of devils". This sad state of affairs has left many Christians between a rock and a hard place! Not wanting to leave off worship and study of the Word in fellowship, they have either stayed in a heretical church, or they have left and have attempted home fellowship in some way. Not always successfully!

This booklet has been prepared to introduce Home Bible College studies which will, we pray, go a long way to meeting the needs of those who are caught between the rock and hard place. A Biblically sound, God-honouring series which takes the student or group through hundreds of hours of thrilling exploration in the Word of God has been prepared by Dr. Dennis Spackman of New Zealand for his own people.

ENDTIME MINISTRIES will be restructuring the above in co-operation with Dr. Spackman to meet the needs of 'Despatch' subscribers and others in these heretical days. For all people interested in the Word of God, they will be offered as a non-profit making venture in order to keep the true Church in vital, living study of the Word of God.

There will be also added studies by
Endtime Ministries' Director, the Editor of 'Despatch' magazine and the author of many tracts and booklets, W. B. Howard, Dip.Th.
D. Dart a Bible Teacher and Christian Researcher of 40 years standing;
J. Swan, a serious Bible student of the word...transcribing audios of meetings etc.

1. The studies are pre-millennial, dispensational, pre-tribulational and they seek to give an overall understanding of rightly dividing the Word of the Lord.

2. The studies come in written notes and audio tapes which feature Dr. Spackman, or related subjects by Wendy Howard. The studies are presented with gentleness and clarity of speech. There is strong meat throughout, but no person need feel unable to move into these studies as they are for all who love the Lord and his truth. Plenty of time is given to find Bible references and take notes. Do not hesitate to do the studies because of average study abilities, the student can proceed at their own pace.

3. The studies have a climax, a DIPLOMA of BIBLE STUDY to be gained on completion of a number of sections. Each section completed brings the student to a envelope of questions which will then be corrected by Endtime Ministries' staff, under the direction of Wendy Howard, entitling the bible student to a certificate.

5. The studies are suitable for a number of alternatives. An individual could study in the home setting; a small group could use them as a supplement to their Church programme; Home Fellowships who worship and meet together apart from any denominational connection would find the studies a treasure trove of blessings; and the studies could be used to actually begin a Home Fellowship where one does not already exist. Invitations could be sent out to friends and neighbours thus giving a wider distribution of the glorious truths of God's Word. Church attendance at denominational level could continue as well, certainly.
 

6. One set of audios could be purchased collectively for study and discussion as a group. Each person is responsible to register separately for their own packet of questions, which will be posted out, and they would then answer privately, posting individually for marking to Endtime Ministries, to receive their certificates, and eventually their diploma.
 

The early Church of the New Testament met in homes, there is no reason why this should not happen more in the future. However, these gatherings should never be allowed to degenerate into pockets of "the blind leading the blind". The Christians need sound, solid, correct teaching which honours the Lord God Almighty. These studies from Calvary Home Fellowships are, we believe, an answer to prayer about these very serious times we are living through.
 

The Christians in the next kind of home fellowship, however, may be strongly evangelical in an organized sense, with members who are bold in outreach, keen to bring others into the fold. The outreach may include exposing the Latter Day heresies and exhorting those who are being deceived. These kind of home fellowships may well grow quickly in numbers, and seem to the denominational leaders in the area to be a serious threat, and even to be "evil", especially if exposing of false doctrines and movements is involved. Persecution could happen, which is more obvious if the home fellowship is in a small town. The leaders of such a group should therefore be strong in the Lord, willing to count the cost realistically before launching forth. There should be much prayer and submission to the will of God. DO NOT carnally stir up a hornet's nest, forming a group of hot-heads who go off "half cocked" ! MATURITY in God is vital, OBEDIENT STABLE Christians are needed, who love others sacrificially, not spiritual `rambos'.

Many modern "Christian" books are, sadly, indoctrinated by New Age beliefs, humanism, psychology and Selfisms. (self-love, self-worth, Self-esteem). There are still good books available on the modern scene, as noted above, but caution is needed in purchasing these. (updated editions are being tampered with, e.g.. Scofield and Strong Texts). This list is a very short suggestion only, from our own library.

There are of course many other books by these authors than the ones mentioned above, they are only a guide line.
