Change Agent Booklet ...3...Tony Campolo

Also a transcript and comments from a Brisbane meeting of Campolo accompany this booklet
Also Campolo in Australia 2002...Expose
It is an address to fellow believers, to those who are washed in the blood of the Lamb; who are trusting in the sacrifice of Christ Jesus on the cross for eternal salvation. Those who put faith, loyalty and glory to the Lord God Almighty and His revealed Word in a primary position of importance. It is addressed to those who regard freedom, integrity and Christian truth as vital to any nation, in a world that is rapidly losing all three.

The New Age New World Order is almost in a total place of international might. (If you are in need of greater information on this Order, please write to the address in the booklet. Space does not permit a full evaluation of this phenomenon). All of society, in perhaps every area, has been influenced by the New Age. New Age doctrines, ecology issues, political aims, alternative medicines, self-help seminars, education in schools and colleges - and so much more are inundating Australia. Some of these infiltrations are hidden, covert; many are now quite open, overt, and are recognizable. This is a time of enormous global CHANGE. The New Age networks have multiplied across the earth in their tens of thousands. It is a global "paradigm" shift on an un- precedented level

The churches are not exempt from the efforts of the New Age New World Order's political, religious and economic CHANGE AGENTS. These agents of change seek to draw the world's inhabitants into UNITY, COLLABORATION with a Luciferian, Evil Order, and into complete agreement with the aims of the New Age ecologists. THE ENVIRONMENT, with its scam crisis is the adhesive that the global elitists of the ORDER are using to join the entire world into ONE.

ONE WORLD ECONOMY, ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT
and a ONE WORLD CHURCH of sinister power

Here in Australia we have become a country under siege! Hugely powerful New Age leaders come regularly from overseas to our nation. The media seldom deals with the content of addresses given by these leaders, nor does it enlighten the average person to their true intentions. Why? Because we have media-archy ----a controlled media. Christians in pockets here and there seek, under God, to enlighten His people. We trust that this book will do just that!

The BAPTIST UNION OF AUSTRALIA is sponsoring an international speaker - one TONY CAMPOLO, who will be arriving in Australia next January, 1994. A prestigious building costing approximately $3 million will be built in Brisbane, partly to provide a venue for Campolo's ministry.

We urge those who love the Lord to read carefully and prayerfully, the following material, and to seek to read the subversive book by Campolo - "How to Rescue the Earth Without Worshipping Nature, [Word Publishing].

Remember Christian, the wrapping on the package in which "NEW AGE CHANGE" is presented is often very beautiful. It is a wrapping that fills the eye with pictures of furry animals and the beauty of forests and flowers, that picture is only the outside covering of the real issues that face us all.

May the Lord help His people to look deep enough to see the REAL PACKAGE!

Tony Campolo, self-styled sociologist to the Christian churches, has written a book that is astonishingly anti-Biblical, deceptive and NEW AGE! The title really tells it all - "How to Rescue the Earth". As happens so often now, the New Age is openly attacked by Campolo yet, he speaks with a forked tongue.

On the back cover we read these words:

"Is ignoring the destruction of nature a sin? If the world is to `pass away' some day, should Christians care about the environment?"

"Is concern for the earth just a distraction from the issues in which the church should really be involved?"

"STRANGE QUESTIONS? Not for a Christian who believes that rescuing the earth is commanded by Scripture

These odd questions are NOT the questions Christians should be asking as they read Campolo's book! Could we suggest questions that SHOULD be asked?

  1. Does the Scripture tell Christians to "rescue the earth", or does scripture say CHRIST ALONE can rescue the earth, and it has all been taken care of by Christ's death on the cross?
  2. Is the "destruction of nature" occurring because of THE CURSE upon nature or not? Will that curse only be repealed by the second coming of Christ?
  3. NOT "should Christians care about the environment"? The question must be - should Christians join forces with the NEW AGE NEW WORLD ORDER in rebellion against the Creator, to support their environment scams?
  4. "Is concern for the earth a distraction from issues in which the church should really be involved?" The question must be: Should the true church of God push the Great Commission of evangelisation onto the back burner, and seek to establish a paradise on earth (although mankind was cast out of paradise - the Garden of Eden) with the rebel-occultists of this planet? Occulists who cannot face the FACTS of sin, the fall, the curse on nature, the wrath of God and the soon coming redeemer?
  5. Is it true that those who work to "Rescue the Earth" are expecting a world ruler to emerge soon? Is this world ruler - the Lord Maitreya - Luciferian or not?
  6. What does the scriptures REALLY have to say about all this?
  7. Why, Mr. Campolo, are you REDEFINING words like "pre-millennial" to suit your own purposes?

AN UNBELIEVABLY DECEPTIVE DOUBLE-SPEAK
APPEARS ON PAGE 3 OF CAMPOLO'S BOOK

"What scared me about writing this book. When I decided to write a book on the environment, I knew I was opening myself up to criticism. I realized that there were those who, at best, would label me as someone seduced by the New Age movement. At worst, my critics would condemn me as a demonic influence within the circles of evangelical Christianity. Since the New Age movement has made much of the ecological movement, some church folks are ready to claim that anybody who is concerned about the environment must be into New Age thinking. Anyone who happens to espouse a cause that is already on the agenda of a deviant religious movement, no matter how biblically based that cause might be, is often declared a heretic. This stupidity is intolerable."

Here Campolo seeks to cover himself in brilliantly devised anticipation. He uses "criticism", "label", "seduced", "condemn", "demonic influence" (all emotive words) to the fullest advantage. Already the reader is being drawn in to sympathize with the author, against those who would nit-pick and be"unloving" and "intolerant". These statements are designed to make the OBVIOUS CRY of Biblically based, obedient servants of God, "NEW AGE CHANGE-AGENT AT WORK", seem rather ridiculous. No we are not going to "label" Campolo as "someone seduced by the New Age movement", he, no doubt, is far more than that! Campolo is possibly a NEW AGE NEW WORLD ORDER MAN with a planned agenda, to draw the Christian church people into New World environmentalism

  1. The Environmental "cause" of the New World Order is NOT "espoused" by the New Age "deviant religious movement". The New Age New World Order the environmental "cause" - an engineered scam, A CRISIS that was manipulated to usher in the New World Order.
  2. That "cause" of the New World Order is in no way, shape or form "biblically based".
  3. The "stupidity" that is "intolerable" is to lead others into an enormous evil unity that is The Environmental Scam called "The Aquarian Conspiracy".
You are not a "heretic", Tony Campolo - a heretic is one who mistakenly mishandles Scripture. An APOSTATE ! is more to the point! An apostate deliberately mishandles Scripture and denies truth.

THE GREEN SCAM.

In the book by D. Thompson "Green Hoax", the author has set out an excellent run down on such matters as the environmentalists "crying wolf". He deals with scientists who do not hold that the "Green House Effect" and the "hole in the ozone layer" are legitimate claims. The planned "feeling of imminent doom" that is driving the inhabitants of the earth right under evil, totalitarian rule, are also clearly revealed.

We are involved in a gigantic "cult of chicken little" A panic has been set up by the elitists of this world to make the masses cry "the sky is falling, the sky is falling....." We all know the story of Chicken Little, who was asleep under a tree, when a mere acorn fell, hitting him on the head. Chicken Little hysterically leaped to the wrong conclusion, before he examined the evidence, and set everyone else off with his cries about the sky falling. The cult of Chicken Little has convinced us that only disaster awaits those who will not join to "Rescue the Earth".["Green Hoax" by D. Thompson, if available can be obtained through "Despatch"]

Tony Campolo writes of rescuing the earth, without worshipping nature. Christian friend, one does not have to worship nature to collaborate with the New Age powers-that-be, one only has to accept the hoaxes, unite with One Worlders and urge others to "rescue the earth" to collaborate actively with the rebels against God -- the Luciferian World Order.

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ALL THIS ENVIRONMENTAL DEBATE

The world is obsessed with the ecology. Something far more dramatic has happened from the environmental obsession than the 'saving' of the planet. Power is not a MEANS to protect the environment - it is an end in itself. Because of the hoaxes and planned crises, the inhabitants of planet earth have actually clamoured for the self-styled masters of a Secret Brotherhood to take control. [Recommended reading: "Dark Majesty" & "Millennium" by Texe Marrs ; "The New Age New World Order" by Dennis L. Cuddy].

Tony Campolo is a sociologist, and a man of dubious doctrine, who has either been deluded by the real aims of the New Age and is unaware of the magnitude of the conquest of this world's system by the New World Order, or he is a deceiver himself. One or the other of these propositions is true - that, only God truly knows.

The "Rescue the Earth" business is all about POLITICS, and not just about WORSHIPPING NATURE. This is all about CHURCH CONTROL being in the hands of the World Council of Churches, the emerging ONE WORLD POLITICAL CHURCH, THE CLUB OF ROME, THE FABIAN PROGRAMME, THE INTERNATIONAL UNITED NATIONS GREEN REVOLUTION (with its ghastly Theosophical/Hindu New Age indoctrination), THE INTERNATIONAL BANKERS and THE "ONE WORLD OR NONE" campaign of the World Commission of the Environment and Development [Gaia, Earth Goddess people et al.]

The "Rescue the Earth" campaign is a monstrous WAR, which is all over bar the shouting. It is about your nation SURRENDERING to the ONE WORLD, NEW WORLD ORDER. It is about "debt-for-nature-swaps". These have already begun in some Third World countries - (Brazil, Costa Rica, Peru and Chile).

"It is proposed to set up a World Conservation Bank, which will be truly immense. It would have trillions of dollars in capitalization, will have the power to create money, create loans and engage in debt-for-nature-swaps. [Such a bank will be capitalised by a trust called "The Global Inventory of Wilderness Assets" comprising 30% of the earth's surface, evaluated at many trillions of dollars]". `The Green Hoax'

Yes, the "rescue the Earth" business is BIG BUSINESS indeed!

A NEW AGE SOCIALIST.
THE EARTH COVENANT NEW AGE SOCIALISM

Tony Campolo's book (and his politics) is immensely subversive and dangerous. This is GLOBAL CHANGE ! at work, preparing the Christian churches to become "citizens of the world", this is where the programme leads. You doubt this? Then look carefully at THE EARTH COVENANT on page 105 of "How to Rescue the Earth". These "covenants" are appearing throughout the world in all sorts of forms. A "Green Train" came through Queensland and New South Wales, for instance, with these "covenants" set out for people to sign (or to thumbprint). The World Council of Churches had "covenants" at the Seventh Assembly held in Canberra. The Global Education Association has Earth Covenants - the computer networks of the New Age `hammer' "Earth Covenants".

Now Tony Campolo just happened to have the same brilliantly original brain-wave of a pledge or covenant signed by the Christians! Astonishing co-incidence, one would think.

The American Christians warn that should one sign such a document, it will be legally binding under International Law - anyone breaking such a pledge could face imprisonment, or even death as a result -- in the near future.

Here is a copy of this Campolo Covenant, with relevant remarks:

"I COMMIT MYSELF TO A LIFE OF PERSONAL PURITY AND SPIRITUALITY"

[No one, who loves the Lord, needs to sign such a pledge. We belong to God, saved by the death of Christ from sin. These terms "purity" and "spirituality" are so open-ended that any definition of these terms given by international law could be far from being what the Bible defines them as].

"I COMMIT MYSELF TO BEING A CO-LABOURER TOGETHER WITH CHRIST IN RESCUING ALL OF CREATION FROM INJUSTICES, POLLUTION,
AND OTHER WORKS OF THE EVIL ONE"

[Since Christ did not mandate the church or individual Christians to "rescue all creation" from these things, then we must assume categorically that the `Christ' here mentioned is not the one whom we would be committing ourselves to co-labouring with at all. Christ Jesus is not co-labouring with mankind in the New World Order (or with the Church) to "rescue all of creation". He has died to save the earth, and will set up a millennium Kingdom of perfection BY HIMSELF! He needs no one to help Him. He is the CREATOR. [Creator is Christ - Eph.3:9; Col.1:16-17; Gen.1:1-2:23;]. No, friends, this is the anti-Christ counterfeit that the New World Order is creating.

"I BELIEVE IN THE TRUTHS OF THE APOSTLES' CREED. THEREFORE, I BELIEVE THAT GOD CREATED BOTH THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH AND ALL CREATURES THEREIN. I WILL NOT KILL ANIMALS NEEDLESSLY NOR FOR ENTER- TAINMENT. INSTEAD, I WILL CARE FOR ANIMALS AND ASSURE FOOD AND SHELTER FOR ALL CREATURES FOR WHICH I HAVE ACCEPTED RESPONSIBILITY"

[This too, is a loaded "pledge"! More here than meets the eye. Shocking things are happening in the New World Order in connection with "save the animals". Now, we must certainly love and care for animals (we have great love for the flora and fauna of our world). Politically, these matters have been used with great effect in gaining control and power. Mention of the "Apostles' Creed" is only a red herring.] (See more on animals in this booklet p.17ff, under the section "St. John the Divine, New York City)."

"I PROMISE TO BE LOYAL TO THE CHURCH AND TO ENCOURAGE THE LOCAL CONGREGATION TO WHICH I BELONG TO BE FAITHFUL IN DECLARING GOD'S SALVATION BOTH FOR PERSONS AND FOR THE STRUCTURES OF SOCIETY

[No Christian should sign such a pledge. The Lord God does not demand such a thing, and we are to be loyal, not to an organisation, but to JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF. THE ONE WORLD CHURCH is EMERGING rapidly now. This "church" is a SYNCRETIZED CHURCH, made up of a unity of tribal religions, Catholic, Protestants, Voodoo, Witchcraft, Buddhists, Hindus, New Agers, cults etc. - a fantastic, devilish amalgamation]. (More information available from Despatch. THIS IS ALL HAPPENING! The Parliament of Religions is meeting in Chicago in August, 1993). Will you sign and "pledge" to be loyal to this horrendous "church", Christian? Will you spread the propaganda of this "church" to aid its iron-fisted mastery and political enslavement of society? Remember - the United Nations uses "God" as a term for an impersonal force - THE FORCE [Daniel 11:36-38]

"TO ACHIEVE THE AIMS OF THIS COVENANT, I COMMIT MYSELF TO REGULAR PRAYER AND TO A SUPPORT GROUP THAT WILL KEEP ME FAITHFUL TO ITS PRINCIPLES".

[Will you sign a "pledge" to COMMIT YOURSELF to a SUPPORT GROUP that will keep you FAITHFUL TO THE EARTH COVENANT? Ask yourself, how astonishingly vague this all is. What "support group"? There will no doubt be "support groups" in the near future as the New Age New World Order gathers momentum and sets up its new order. Here, you are signing a covenant which binds you to attend one. Why? To make sure you obey the rest of what you have signed!]

WAKE UP, AUSTRALIAN CHURCH-GOER. Have you ever seen such "covenants" like Campolo's pledge in church fellowships? Just reading the above should make alarm bells start ringing? If they aren't ringing by now, why aren't they.

TONY CAMPOLO SUGGESTS WE CHRISTIANS
FORM A CHRISTIAN GREEN PARTY!

He entitles Chapter 11 "The Greening of the Church".

What is the network called "The Greens"?

Why can't Christians who love the Lord join networks of "Greens" under a "christian" banner?

GREEN movements are not unconnected groups, nor are they only happy little nature lovers, who innocently want to love animals, save baby seals and romp in the rainforests. The Green Movement is a vast network of groups who are joined through a common vision. That vision includes social, political and ecological "justice" for the earth. It is man's attempt to "do something" about the imperfect world of sin and suffering, waste and degradation that compose this world under the curse, the fall and under the world-system rule of Satan. Rule of Satan and The Curse - John 14:30; IPet.5:8; Matt.4:6; Gen.3:17;] The Green Movement has many "parties", and the mainline Christian "Green Party" would be a decided feather in the cap for the whole Green network! Spreading around the world, it includes antinuclear Greens, radical left Greens, holistic/visionary Greens, Social Greens, single issue Greens, native American Greens, red Greens and neo-Marxism militant Greens.

MOST OF THE GREEN GROUPS
FIT INTO APPROXIMATELY 3 CATEGORIES:

  1. CONSERVATION. The Audobon Society (mentioned by Campolo - page 184), the Nature Conservancy, and the National Wildlife Federation. [No. 1.Networks with nos. 2. & 3. groups.]
  2. SOCIETY-CHANGING GREENS. Politically active, militant groups such as Green Peace (Campolo mentions - page 184) and Earth First! They have long roots into the counterculture movement, 1960s. They lean heavily towards the political LEFT. Many aims far beyond the ecology. They are involved in RIGHTS for HOMOSEXUALS, HARD-LINE FEMINISM, NUCLEAR DISARMAMENT - and ECONOMIC REDISTRIBUTION based on Communistic/Socialistic philosophies.
  3. DEEP ECOLOGY - views Gaia, Mother Earth, as the source or force of all life, and as Divine Goddess. Tony Campolo speaks against "worshipping nature", and denies this "deep ecology" style of Greens. We do not have to believe in nature worship and Gaia Mother Earth to aid and abet the rise of the New Age New World Order. If Christians join the GREEN MOVEMENT by forming a Green Party (as suggested by Campolo, fervently), if we "Green the Church" (as suggested by Campolo), we become another line in the networks that are seeking POLITICAL POWER to enforce their objectives. We will aid the enemies of the true God, as revealed in the Bible, in their educational aims to teach the world about evolutionary New Age Globalism and practical ecology.

*see lastest Despatch "Ecology" Booklet on line ...1996*

This last group is saving the earth, not for humanity's sake, but for the sake of Nature, Mother Earth (and all her "natural" parts) herself!Sadly, because the earth and her flora and fauna have become more important than mankind, the paramount aim of the Greens has become "diversity of species" to "enrich the earth". Healthy, flourishing diversity requires a huge decrease in the human population, because it interferes with nature's processes and Mother Earth herself! Green books on the population explosion abound. The aim is not just to encourage homosexuality (these relationships do not procreate), abortion, infanticide, suicide by choice and euthanasia, but also to "shrink" the existing population of the earth by three-four billion. (This is confirmed in such books as: `The Population Explosion' by Paul Ehrlich & Anne Ehrlich, and `Limits to Growth' by the Club of Rome)

The Green groups that comprise the Green network generally agree that:

  1. The Judeo/Christian belief that the Lord God gave man a command to "rule over" the earth and the animals has caused humanity to exploit, lord it over nature and to abuse nature.
  2. The Christians will block the global movement toward a ONE-WORLD, unity of religions, earth-centered religion - if they continue to resist the "Rescue the Earth" initiatives. These earth-centered, one world beliefs are what is needed to save the earth and to unite the world's inhabitants.
  3. These beliefs are (in a nutshell) presented by Campolo in his book: "How to Rescue the Earth".

THE BLENDING OF CHRISTIAN AND EARTH-CENTERED BELIEFS.

The New Age speaks of a new "paradigm" for the Christian Church. A new "model", on which Christianity can build to create a religion that fits in nicely with the New World Order's ecological and political aspirations. Now read Campolo's comments on page 100 of his book:

"As we evangelicals seek to develop a NEW CONSCIOUSNESS and a WORKABLE THEOLOGY to address the urgent needs of CREATION-CARE, we may have to pay attention to many who REGARD US AS THEIR ENEMIES. As we try to rethink our ATTITUDES TOWARD NATURE, we may have to learn some respect for THEOLOGIES and BELIEF SYSTEMS that we have hitherto dismissed with a wave of the hand. In our attempt to equip Christians to deal with contemporary issues in such a way that concerned secularists will turn to the church for hope and help, we may have to open our own ears to SOME NEW VOICES". [Emphasis mine].

The section just before this statement contains the names [and ENDORSES THEM ENTHUSIASTICALLY] of two religious leaders who are lauded and adored by the New Age - namely St. Francis and the notoriously New Age-style teacher, Teilhard de Chardin; the section straight after the above quotation, leads into rampant FEMINISM.

WHAT IS ST. JOHN THE DIVINE, NEW YORK,
IN WHICH TONY CAMPOLO DELIGHTS?

Campolo writes

(Reference, page 140 of "How to Rescue the Earth")

"I was pleasantly surprised during a visit to New York City when I happened upon a special day of blessing for animals at the great Cathedral of St. John the Divine. Once a year, a Sunday afternoon is designed for people to bring their animals to this EPISCOPAL church to receive blessings and prayers from the pastors. All kinds of people bring all kinds of animals so that the clergy might lay hands on these special creatures in the name of Christ. What made this service particularly amazing to me was that, in addition to an array of the expected house pets, a variety of New York Zoo animals, ranging from a camel to sheep and goats, were on hand to be blessed. Some tourists visiting the church that afternoon were amused. But others, perhaps for the first time in their lives, considered the special service was a brilliant educational tool ... other denominations should pick up this idea and make it a regular part of church life". page 140]

A NEW AGE, LUCIFERIAN WORLD CENTRE.

Astonishing, but true, here is a man who claims to be an evangelical, born-again, premillennial christian, a conservative - yet, he visits, enjoys, is "pleasantly surprised" by A NEW AGE CENTRE, organized and frequented by hard-core esotericists, witches, pagan tribal shamans and militant One World political elitists! Could Tony have been in some way confused or ignorant or naive about all the horror of St. John the Divine? Of course he couldn't have been!

The cathedral in New York City is called "Big John" by New Yorkers. The Dean of "Big John", the Very Reverend James Parks Morton, ! is certainly not "very reverent" in the eyes of the Lord God Almighty. A New Ager, Morton is pro-homosexual, he works in full co-operation with the top figures of the New Age movement. Such people as David Spangler, (Luciferian New Ager who has spoken from the pulpit at St. John the Divine), Al Gore (Vice-president of the U.S.A., Gaia Mother Earth worshipper), and William Irwin Thompson (the founder of the Lindisfarne Centre in Colorado - New Ager).

St. John the Divine is so well-known as a "crazy" New Age Centre, that one is surprised that Campolo spelt out his involvement so blatantly! The "special day of blessing for animals" which Campolo refers to is most likelya day similar to that which Per Ola and Emily d'Aulaire reported about in the ...(Smithsonian, December, 1992).

QUOTATION:

"NOW what are they doing at that crazy St. John the Divine?" by Per Ola & Emily d'Aulaire...Smithsonian - Dec.'1992

"The annual Blessing of Animals is one of those "of course" events. Begun in 1985 and held each October on the Feast of ST. Francis, the service is typical of the "crazy things" that go on that are perhaps not so crazy after all. Each year more than 6,000 people and their pets crowd into St. John's for the St. Francis Day Earth Mass. As the music of the Paul Winter Consort fills the place with the sounds of timber wolves and humpback whales, dogs strain at their leashes, eager for an ecumenical sniff at other hounds, rabbits peek from shoe boxes, and goldfish slosh in bowls..

Last year, a tatooed man roamed the aisles with two boa constrictors, one as thick as his calf, the other sporting a blue ribbon around its neck. After a sermon- always delivered by a prominent dignitary-by SENATOR ALBERT GORE, the great bronze doors were opened, and in came the official entourage of beasts that had been trucked in from far and wide. The church fell silent as the creatures made their way to the altar, among them an elephant, a hedgehog, a pig, a particularly grumpy-looking camel, and a 3.5-billion-year-old rock from Australia covered with bacteria and reverently borne on a pillow. They were followed by a man in a choir robe, pushing a wheelbarrow and shouldering a shovel "in case one of the animals decides to make an offering to God." Bishop Grein blessed them one and all." [p.42]

AMAZINGLY (or is it?)
DEAN MORTON ALSO SEES THE NEED
TO MERGE ECOLOGY CONCERN
AND "CHRISTIANITY" JUST AS CAMPOLO DOES.

Morton claims:

"What drives us forward today" he said, "is our need to help people understand that religion and ecology are two faces of the same coin .... We're not just trashing the poor, we are trashing the Earth. This must be a focus for our mission in the 21st century".

ST. JOHN THE DIVINE HAS MANY NEW AGE NETWORKS.

"Big John" Cathedral has a toll-free number for churches and synagogues interested in starting their own environmental programme. But, perhaps the most ominous thing about the United Nations controlled "Big John" is that THE SCIENTIFIC ARM OF THE CATHEDRAL is THE GAIA INSTITUTE (Mother Earth of the New Age).

One future Gaia plan shows the cathedral as a SOLAR BIOSHELTER, with mosses, ferns and flowers flourishing under a Gothic-style glass-enclosed transept!Yet Campolo claims in his book "How to Rescue the Earth", that he is anti-Gaia, Mother Earth, Campolo makes a big show of this. We, however, are not about to receive such double-speak, Mr. Campolo.

ST. JOHN THE DIVINE - IS A CENTRE FOR SYNCRETISM.

Syncretism, not ecumenism, is the aim of St. John the Divine. St. John opens its door to homosexuals, Jewish Rabbis, Zen Buddhists, African Animists and American tribal Indian Shamans. The Dalia Lama, Bishop Desmond Tutu, New Age occultist of enormous power - the late Buckminster Fuller, Chief Austin Two Moons of the Northern Cheyenne, all have spoken from the white-marble pulpit. New Agers Robert Redford and Whoopi Goldberg also have spoken at "Big John". St. John is a world centre used to form a ONE WORLD CHURCH for the New World Order. A church of unspeakable, fantastic perversion.

DAVID SPANGLER AND ST. JOHN THE DIVINE

Findhorn Community, Scotland (formerly Findhorn Foundation) was virtually the "Vatican City" of the New Age in earlier days. Co-director, David Spangler, received guidance from many spirits as he worked with Peter and Eilene Caddy and Dorothy McLean. These demonic beings included the spirit "Maitreya", "Rakoczi" and one called himself "Limitless Love and Truth". Spangler reports that these spirit beings tell him that LUCIFER (Satan) is "an agent of God's love".

Spangler writes:

"Christ is the same force as Lucifer ....Lucifer prepares man for the experience of Christhood .... Lucifer works within each of us to bring us to wholeness as we move into the New Age."

Spangler declares that a New Age Christ is coming who is another Christ - not JESUS CHRIST.

(Which Christ is Campolo serving, must be our question.)

David Spangler left Findhorn with his adherents, and founded a New Age group in the U.S.A. called the LORIAN FOUNDATION. He is associated with the CHINOOK CENTRE AND ST. JOHN THE DIVINE CATHEDRAL.

(These people have encountered a horned and hairy being, who calls himself PAN - it had cleft hoofs!).

SPANGLER, ST. JOHN THE DIVINE AND THE LASER BEAMS.

Spangler has declared that laser beam projectors have been positioned on the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. Why? To create holographic images in the sky. Benjamin Creme ! (The "John the Baptist" of the New Age Lord Maitreya, a sinisterly real, mysterious possessed male said to be living in London), the Theosophist founders Alice Bailey and Madame Helena Blavatsky (New Age movement is rooted solidly in Theosophy), have all said that the "LUCIFERIAN INITIATION" must be the heart and core of the New World Religion. (Revelation 13:11-15).

AL GORE AND ST. JOHN THE DIVINE.

Al Gore was present at that "special day of blessing for animals", Mr. Campolo. How strange that he is also a NEW AGER with a SPIRITUAL AGENDA identical to your own. Strangely, Gore also calls himself a "Baptist".

SOME QUOTES
FROM AL GORE
(More material available on request):

From Gore's book on New Environmentalism and Goddess Worship, "Earth in the Balance: Ecology and the Human Spirit":

"...it may now be necessary to foster a new "environmentalism of the spirit". page 242; What 'spirit' is Gore referring to? The GODDESS, nature spirit of the New Age (page 260).

"The spiritual sense of OUR place in nature predates Native American cultures ... a growing number of anthropologists and archaeo-mythologists, such as Marija Gimbutas and Rian Eisler, argue that the prevailing ideology of belief in prehistoric Europe and much of the world was based on the worship of a SINGLE EARTH GODDESS, who was assumed to be the fount of all life and who radiated harmony among all living things....".

Both Clinton and Gore champion the killing of the unborn, unnatural homosexual lifestyles, and a host of values that are New Age - including New Age feminism as written in Campolo's seductive, deluding book "How to Rescue the Earth".

AL GORE, Southern "Baptist", has praise for all neo-pagan religions, but only disdain for "his own". Compare his statement with the statement by Tony Campolo below [on page 263]:

"For some Christians, (Bible believers) the prophetic vision of the apocalypse is used - IN MY VIEW, UNFORGIVABLY".

FROM TONY CAMPOLO:

"Anyone who happens to espouse a cause that is already on the agenda of a deviant religious movement, no matter how Biblically based their cause might be, is often declared a heretic. This stupidity is intolerable."

WHO IS TEILHARD de CHARDIN -

THE MAN WHO CAMPOLO CITES SO OFTEN
IN "HOW TO RESCUE THE EARTH"?

On pages 88-89 (also 6, 83-86 and 100) a man named Pierre Teilhard de Chardin is not only mentioned, but lauded and applauded. Who is he? A New Age Patron "Saint"!

Teilhard was a Jesuit priest, five times censored by his order for apostasy. This priest has been responsible for most of the philosophical foundations of the New Age Movement. The pantheistic (God is an impersonal FORCE in nature - nature IS God) works of Teilhard are officially still condemned by the Vatican. Teilhard's work extends to secularists, mainline protestant apostates and now, even to professed evangelicals.

The author of the World Core Curriculum, former assistant Secretary General of the United Nations, New Age Luciferian/occultist, Dr. Robert Muller, speaks proudly of something he calls his "five Teilhardian enlightenments". The New Age "goddess emerging" educator, Jean Houston, evil facilitator of many New Age techniques and worshipper of the "dark god" of the underworld, tells often of her childhood association with Teilhard and her Central Park walks with the man. Even the author of the New Age New World Order handbook (almost the New Age Movement "bible") "The Aquarian Conspiracy", Marilyn Ferguson, uses the works and philosophies of Teilhard MORE THAN ANY OTHER SOURCE in her book.

In the book "A Planned Deception, The Staging Of A New Age Messiah",Constance Cumbey writes of Teilhard:

"He was discredited in the eyes of many for his role in the Piltdown scandal. Chardin is a known source of controversy between conservative and liberal Roman Catholics. Lately, he has become one between evangelical and neo-evangelical protestants as well". His ecological "creation-centered spirituality", his brand of pantheism is extremely attractive, heavily used by a new band of "evangelicals" throughout the world. This can do no other than join the New Age to the neo-evangelical organizations.

NOW HEAR CAMPOLO ON TEILHARD - AND WEEP!

"....the perspectives of St. Francis and Teilhard ought to provide some of the inspiration for our preaching." [Page 100]

"With some help from St. Francis and Teilhard de Chardin, we might just make it." [ Page 89 ]

"This journey will take us back in time to the thinking of St. Francis and St. Benedict. We will explore the contributions to the theology of creation made by some of the historic founders of Protestanism, such as John Calvin and John Wesley. We will also give attention to C.S. Lewis and Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, who represent more modern Christian thinking." [Page 6 ]

The most blatant PANTHEISTIC, NEW AGE FORCE statement that any writer could make appears on page 83. NOTE the acceptance of the horrendous teachings of Teilhard, and the mention of a counterfeit "Kingdom of God". Christian, this is a counterfeit Christian book which Campolo has written, cleverly concealing its true purpose with pockets of legitimate-sounding evangelical doctrines and phrases.

I quote from page 83: "What most of us find intriguing is that Teilhard found a basis for claiming that spiritual forces are at work in the most basic elements of the physical universe.

Teilhard's writings, censored by church officials, were published under the auspices of atheistic friend, Aldous Huxley. In his books Teilhard brought together in a unified world view the findings of the laws of physical sciences, discoveries of anthropology, theories about the history and destiny of the cosmos and biblical teaching. The vision he gave us of the nature and destiny of the universe and the insights into the history and destiny of the cosmos are BRILLIANT. Even those who have sought to refute his theories could not HELP BUT ADMIRE HIS GENIUS. According to Teilhard, love formed the universe and love is even now working through all of nature to CREATE THE KINGDOM OF GOD." (end of quotation).

IS THE TEILHARD PHILOSOPHY DANGEROUS INDOCTRINATION?

Beyond belief! Agents of planned change have entered the organizations of all areas of global society - the church is no exception. The Jesuit, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, who died in 1955, came out of the Nazi period of World War II. He supported totalitarianism and eugenics (the social control of human mating, the aryan racial superiority of Hitler). He was an evolutionist-pantheist, and he proclaimed the need for a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT

From Teilhard's "Human Energy ", "The Future of Man" and "Letters to Two Friends" (as recorded by Dr. Dennis L. Cuddy, Phd)

"..."that the proposed organization must be international and in the end totalitarian... The modern totalitarian regimes, whatever their initial defects, are neither heresies nor biological regressions: They are in line with the essential trend of `cosmic' movement... The world of tomorrow will be born out of the `elected' group of those who will decide that there is something big waiting for us ahead, and give their life to reach it... The earth is a closed and limited surface. To what extent should it tolerate, racially or nationally, areas of lesser activity? More generally still, how should we judge the efforts we lavish on all kinds of rejects ?... We have only to believe, then little by little, we shall see the universal horror unbend, and then smile upon us, and then take us in its more than human arms" [p.137]

PREACHING OURSELVES GREEN IN THE FACE

In the eighth chapter "Preaching Ourselves Green in the Face" of the Campolo book "How to Rescue the Earth", pages 96 and 97 contain an interesting outline of Campolo's theological position. These comments are reproduced for those who do not have access to the book:

"Suspicions to the contrary, I believe in the premillennial return of Christ. On the other hand, I certainly do not work on the details of predicting just how and when the Second Coming will occur. Whenever the discussion focuses on such things, I like to say, "I'm on the welcoming committee, not the program committee...

The church is to play a key role as God carries out His redemptive plan for His cosmos. The Scriptures tell us that God has "put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church" [Eph.1:22]

The church is His instrument for rescuing His polluted world, and He will make it new again [Rev.21:5]. the people who make up Christ's body are the primary agents for His commitment to fulfill His plans for the future of our planet. We know that the God who even now is working through His people to make all things good [Romans 8:28] will not leave us hanging. He will reenter history in power and glory. And he will complete the work which He initiated through His church. The church will accomplish something of His saving work. But it is only when He returns and joins our feeble efforts, that we can expect the defeat of the ecological evils of our time by the goodness of God. Between now and then, the church must be about the business he will complete.

Stirring Our Emotions

Seldom, if ever, do we hear sermons on the environment. Those who do deliver messages on this subject may well be held suspect of being theologically offbeat. Most commonly they are accused of being part of the New Age movement...." (p.96 to p.97

COMMENTS BY DESPATCH ON PAGES 96 AND 97.

A number of alarming thoughts fill one's mind as the script is examined in content of whom Campolo is, the organizations and "bed-fellows" Campolo endorses, the previous pages of the book and the indoctrination into the New Age that occurs in the book in terms of the overall picture .

Now Campolo has gone to a lot of trouble in his book to discredit Biblical-style premillennialism. He has attacked Hal Lindsay (premillennialist) and (intentionally?) misinterpreted his message. Campolo has made a shocking misinterpretation of premillennial belief in many areas of the book, and has applauded "Eastern Orthodoxy" because they believe in "deliverance for the rest of creation from what Satan had done to it" - as though Biblically based Christians who teach premillennialism do not believe this! Of course they do, but, the Bible teaches a period of great tribulation on the earth before Christ can restore the Creation. Biblically based premillennialists teach the promise of God "making all things new" (Rev.21:5), but only after the anti-christ, the rebels against God, and Satan have been defeated in a time of enormous upheaval and judgement on the earth.

Notice on pages 38 and 39 (for those who have a book) that the outline of belief that Campolo sets out under the heading "Salvation is Bigger than We Imagined", contains post millennial belief (12 and 13) because these points make out that the Kingdom of God (and creation) can simply be claimed and renewed NOW, because of the cross. The Rapture is left out. Also left out is A THE COMING WAR WAGED BY THE LORD JESUS AGAINST SATAN'S AND THE ANTI-CHRIST'S FORCES in the great tribulation. (Rev.19:11-21). What is left out is the WRATH OF GOD IN JUDGEMENT YET TO HAPPEN ON THIS EARTH (Rev. 6 to 20).

NO, "All of humanity will be giving God glory and worshipping Him throughout all eternity" is not true as page 39 states - ! Multitudes (those who reject Jesus Christ as Saviour) will be suffering in the Lake of Fire! (Rev.20:11-15.

That is why we who have the glorious Gospel of Christ must not be turned away from the Great Commission to win souls, by joining with the ONE WORLD CHURCH in their politically-motivated hoaxes about "rescuing" the earth

IS CAMPOLO DELIBERATELY REDEFINING THE TERM "PRE-MILLENNIAL"?

Could such a brilliant man make obvious blunders about doctrine without being aware of the fact? - an interesting question. Given `certain facts', it seems a deliberate confusion has been perpetrated, and a deliberate redefinition of "premillennial" has been attempted. WHAT "CERTAIN FACTS
  1. The New Age New World Order has a false christ, whom they believe will usher in a PARADISE in the near future.
  2. This NEW AGE NEW MILLENNIUM of paradise will be in the next thousand years (starting the year 2,000 approx.).
  3. This `Christ' will deceive all those who reject the true Christ
  4. Notice that the false `Christ' (anti-christ) will be presented before any judgement by God occurs! The first half of the tribulation period that the Bible reveals IS THE FAILED UTOPIA OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER.
Yes, there are many who believe they are in a "premillennial" time in the 1990s - but they don't mean the Biblical "premillennial", they mean the Aquarian Age "millennium". This millennium will never be acknowledged as being preceded by WRATH, JUDGEMENT AND ARMAGEDDON - for obvious reasons.

Mr. Campolo might call himself "premillennial", but to what millennium is he referring?

Do these statements of page 97 make good, Biblical sense?"

"God has already taken on the task of planetary salvation and environmental renewal through us, and He is doing it here and now."

"The church is His instrument for rescuing His polluted world --"

The Bible does not teach these things. CHRIST died for the redemption of the creation. Christ will renew creation and repeal the curse - after the earth has had all rebellion put down, not now! CHRIST needs no ONE WORLD CHURCH to aid Him in "rescuing" His polluted world. He created the world in the first place (John 1:1-4). The ANTI-CHRIST system seeks to set up a counterfeit MILLENNIAL REIGN before judgement and the authentic second coming and glorious MILLENNIAL REIGN OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

ST. FRANCIS.

Campolo writes many times in his book "How to Rescue the Earth", of St. Francis - ! "What could be the meaning of this?", the evangelical church might question (Pages 6, 50, 52-56, 79, 82, 89, 100, 124).

THE NEW AGE NEW WORLD ORDER
ELEVATES ST. FRANCIS IN EVERY NETWORK, IN EVERY WAY.

*[Notice that the St. John the divine service previously `cited' was in honour of St Francis]

ASSISI.

In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, a huge gathering of RELIGIOUS leaders participated in a ONE WORLD CHURCH conference in Assisi, Italy. 155 LEADERS FROM 12 MAJOR RELIGIONS.

Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Jews, Hindus, Zorastrians, African Animists (including snake worshippers), Sikhs, Shinto Priests from Japan, Jains and American Tribal Indian Shamans, Dr. Emilio Castro of the World Council of Churches (New World Order), the Archbishop of Canterbury, Robert Runcie patriarchs of the Greek Orthodox of Constantinople and the Dalai Lama "God-King" were also among the leaders present.

The Pope, John Paul II convened that Assisi meeting in October 1986. It was an inter-religious gathering indeed! The very next day after Assisi, the Vatican held a conference in Rome with the world's major syncretist organizations including the United Nations WORLD CONFERENCE ON RELIGION AND PEACE, THE TEMPLE OF UNDERSTANDING (United Nations, New Age) and the BRITISH WORLD CONGRESS OF FAITHS (ONE WORLD CHURCH).

The chief organiser was Roger Cardinal Etchegatay, the President of the far-left Justice and Peace Commission. ST. FRANCIS IS BIG IN THE NEW AGE CIRCLES.

AMAZING DOUBLE-SPEAK IN "HOW TO RESCUE THE EARTH".

It seems that Tony Campolo is speaking with a creation-centered forked tongue! Some of the "say-one-thing-and-mean-another" comments are quite amazing. Mr. Campolo states often what he knows will be the well-founded criticism of his philosophies, denies these criticisms in anticipation of the flack (protects his rear end), and goes on to present exactly what he has openly denied in a wide-eyed, soothing manner. He reminds me of a mother telling a child that the spoon she is feeding him is not medicine. She then pops the nasty stuff in the trusting open mouth - and hastily pours down soft drink to camouflage the taste!

SOME "FORK-TONGUED" REMARKS

  1. I am not New Age; I am against New Age; I want to oppose New Age et al. (pages 4-5, 80, 97, 99, 153. 173-175, 177, 182). THEN, Campolo goes all out to support New Age organizations, teachers, authors, aims and environmental concerns.
  2. SOME OF THE NEW AGE TEACHERS, PATRON SAINTS,
WRITERS OR SUPPORTERS CITED BY CAMPOLO ARE:

SOME OF THE NEW AGE NEW WORLD ORDER ORGANIZATIONS ENDORSED BY CAMPOLO - EITHER INVOLVED OR CONTROLLED BY THE NEW WORLD ORDER

  3. "I am worried that christians who get involved in the environmental issue may get side-tracked into the "pop" religious thinking of the New Age Movement", writes Campolo. The involvement that is dangerous is actually not only religious but political. Campolo's book leads right into the New Age New World Order. The "pop" religious thinking is on the way out, anyway, if the hard-core New Agers have any say in it! Such leaders as David Spangler and William Irwin Thompson have made this very clear in their book - "Reimagination of the World" (pages 30-31).
  4. I am deliberately avoiding any suggestion of pantheism. God is 'totally other' than nature. I do not want to be misconstrued in this. Only humans were created by God to have souls (Gen: 2:7). I am saying that there is something volitional and spontaneous about nature that is capable of reaching out to God. There is something inherent in creation that is capable of glorifying and worshipping God". (page 81).
"As in most heresies there is a grain of truth. Might it be that the New Age people, with their personalization of nature, have taken some element of God's truth and twisted it and distorted it to serve demonic purposes?" (page 80).

In these quotations Campolo has denied certain philosophies, then proceeds to spell out these same philosophies. He says only human beings have souls. He says he is avoiding any suggestion of pantheism, THEN, he writes in almost a classic New Age style of the "Living Entity" of nature (Gaiaism, pantheistic).

NOTE THE WORDS

In the latter quote, Campolo actually has taken "the bull by the horns" (or Gaia Mother Earth by the hand?) and goes all the way. Here he sees the "grain of truth", "God's truth" in the New Age PERSONALIZATION OF NATURE. New Agers believe the Earth is a living entity with a volition, a brain and such elements as blood, lungs and a heart.

HOW FAR DOES TONY CAMPOLO GO?
WHO AND WHAT IS TONY CAMPOLO?
CAMPOLO'S BOOK `A REASONABLE FAITH'?

Tony Campolo has been a "controversial" figure in Christian circles in the U.S.A. for many years. Accused of being an heretical evangelical leader, defended by some, the sociologist is a much travelled speaker. His book "A Reasonable Faith" [Word] was considered "flawed" if not heresy.

SOME OF THE DOCTRINES that HAVE ALARMED
and ANGERED FELLOW CHRISTIANS IN THE U.S.A.

  1. In "A Reasonable Faith" Campolo declares that Jesus lives in all people, whether or not they are Christians. He states that human-ness and God-ness are one and the same (source, "Christianity Today"). These beliefs are identical with "the spark of the divine in all men" of the New Age; and to the "man is God" pantheism of the New Age.
  2. Campolo has been severely criticised and censored for his stand on homosexuals. He holds a totally unbiblical view that - a. Homosexuality is INBORN, and inherited, because all nature is fallen. b. Counselling homosexuals is useless because of its cause (heredity). c. He has been accused by Christians of espousing an unbiblical, fruitless damaging distortion by his "homosexuality is biologically based" viewpoints. Campolo advocates "homosexual covenants" where christian homosexuals make life-long vows to each other, to live with each other in "celibacy"?
  3. Campolo has left-leaning political views and draws his insights selectively from KARL MARX. He is reportedly "not a Marxist", however?
  4. He has been accused of downplaying orthodox scholars such as Wesley, Luther and Calvin, and of drawing on humanist figures such as Paul Tillich, Martin Buber, and of course, Teilhard de Chardin.

  5.

In "A Reasonable Faith", Campolo makes his mystical, New Age beliefs very clear. He teaches that in believers and unbelievers alike, Jesus is "waiting to be discovered in every person you and I encounter". NOT human creation in the image of God. NOT divine omnipresence. The same mystical incarnation of "Christ" in every human being (MAN IS GOD OR "CHRIST"), that the New Age teachers peddle.

Campolo has concentrated for years on the achievement of "human-ness" or "God-ness", the "I-Thou happening" between two people. He believes, it seems, that sinners who are alienated from God become reconciled to Him as they are reconciled to each other. (John 1:12-13; Romans 3:23-26).

SIN AND THE SACRIFICE OF CHRIST.... ARE STRANGELY ALSO A PART OF THE CAMPOLO WRITINGS.

Yes, Christ did die for sinners, but He gave Himself for the Cosmos, The "Christosphere", as well. John 3:16 is used on page 13 of "How to Rescue the Earth", to spur us all on in our zeal to become "green Christians" and to work to rescue the earth for Christ. "...the Greek word cosmos `World' refers to anything and everything that is in the universe, including the animals, flowers, insects and fish...... It also includes the land and oceans and the air we breathe".

What is a "Christosphere"? The "higher stage" of all nature. (page 85). A coming of `the christ', a pantheistic impersonal source or force in nature evolving into the New Earth - the Goddess arising.

As David Spangler wrote in "Reimagination of the World":

"For me, another definition of the New Age is that it is a spiritual phenomenon. As such, it has three aspects: it represents a fundamental formative force, an essential component of life; it represents an inner condition or state of mind; and it represents a particular spiritual and initiatic impulse inherent in the incarnational processes of Earth". (page 27).

WHO AND WHAT IS TONY CAMPOLO?

Perhaps you, fellow believer, can answer that question for yourself before God?

IN THE FINAL ANALYSIS.

In the TRUE CHURCH of God, that invisible organism to which all those who are "born again" and who possess true "repentance towards God and faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ" belong, there is but one Great Head. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Leaders, ministers and `superstars' come and go in denominations, but the ONE SHEPHERD, ONE CHIEF BISHOP alone admits the members into the TRUE CHURCH. He opens the door. No man can shut it or open it, not sociologists, archbishops, elders or priests.

Fellow Believer, stand by THE FAITH ONCE DELIVERED TO THE TRUE CHURCH.
(II Peter 1:16-21;. Galatians 1:6-10).

God bless and strengthen our fellow-soldiers in THE FAITH delivered to the SAINTS. MARANATHA "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the Great God and our Saviour, Jesus Christ".[I Jn.3:1-3; Phil.3:20-21]

Hal Lindsay's, "The Road to Holocaust", Quo Vadis, Church?

"...The last days of the Church on earth may be largely wasted seeking to accomplish a task that only the LORD Himself can and will do directly. On a question as important as the church's purpose and mission, it is especially important not to be deceived by the theoretical, subjective reasoning of men. This issue must be decided on the basis of an objective exegesis of the Bible text." (page 269)

EVANGELICAL LEADERS JUDGE TONY CAMPOLO'S THEOLOGY.

Extract..."Christianity Today" - 8/9/1989 - by Randy Frame.

A Panel says the sociologist's controversial book is flawed, but not HERETICAL - (HERESY).

A panel of evangelical leaders has determined that Tony Campolo cannot rightly be called a heretic. However, the panel urged the Eastern College sociology professor to clarify in writing certain statements made in his book, `A Reasonable Faith' (Word). The panel said the book is "methodoligically naive and verbally incautious."

Campolo, one of the most traveled speakers on the evangelical circuit, became the center of a controversy earlier this year when he was canceled on theological grounds from speaking at Youth Congress `85 (CT, Sept.20, 1985, p.30). The decision was made by Bill Bright, president of Campus Crusade for Christ, one of the sponsoring organizations of the youth conference.

Recently in Chicago, Campolo and Bright appeared before a four-member panel consisting of theologian J.I. Packer, who served as chairman; Gordon MacDonald, president of Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship; Earl Radmacher, president of Western Conservative Baptist Seminary; and James Boice, pastor of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia.

Packer said the panel`s purpose was limited, explaining that it had been summoned as part of a process to reconcile Campolo with his critics. The Christian Legal Society (CLS) is coordinating this process. Said Packer, "Our goal was to produce a resource document to help the parties in this case to achieve reconciliation."

At the one-day meeting in Chicago, the panel questioned Campolo for a total of six hours, calling on him to explain parts of "A Reasonable Faith", which Bright had cited as the basis for his cancellation of Campolo. CSL Executive director Sam Ericsson said the meeting "was one of the most intense sessions I've ever witnessed....It was a powerful illustration of the Holy Spirit being very active because Christians decided to do it biblically."

At issue were portions of the book in which Campolo indicated that Jesus lives in all people, whether or not they are Christians. At one point in the book Campolo stated that human-ness and God-ness are one and the same..... (Gen.3:5).
