Our
Beautiful Blue Planet, EarthThe New Age ecology hysteria, with the cries of "Save the Planet",
"creation is wonderful", "the beautiful blue earth is ALIVE" and
so on, has reached fever pitch! The inhabitants of the so-called "Mother-Earth"
are bombarded with fearful predictions of environmental DISASTER,
and so often Christians are being branded as irresponsible! Our doctrines
of creation, our insistence that man as a species is higher than the animal
kingdom, our knowledge of God as personal and separate from the creation
- all these have become a "NO! NO!" Matters for reproach,
in some quarters.
GOD THE CREATOR
We see all around us in nature the incontrovertible proof of the existence of an all-powerful Creator,. "Mother Earth" did not bring us from "her womb", as the New Age insists, GOD MADE THE EARTH. Look at the daffodil, fresh and fragrant, lovely in form and colour, yet it sprang from the dark soil by a miracle which no one on earth can fully explain. Man can make silk copies of the flower, but he can neve reproduce a single living bloom - from scratch!
Every living thing is a miracle from the Lord God Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. The plant world and the animal world are full of wonder. All nature is interwoven and interdependent. See how perfectly the bee and other insects are fitted to the flowers which depend upon their services for fertilization, the times, and seasons of both ordered and arranged to fit a preconceived plan.
Who can fathom such mysteries as the migration of birds which fly back and forth from season to season over continents and seas, going and coming with unerring instinct to their appointed places, or the migration of the eel to its mysterious breeding place in the deep Atlantic, and the coming, year after year, of the tiny elvers to the rivers? Or, who can explain the exact opposite behaviour of the salmon which leave the sea and come up the rivers to breed? Who does not thrill with joy to see a dolphin flash from the sea beside his leaping, silver mate?
These, and a million other wonders of nature prove that behind the marvellous panorama of life is intelligent design, co-ordination, forethought, and provision, without which the vast, interdependent web of life could never have begun, and would never continue. NO ONE, can truly understand the beautiful planet, or its teeming life, if they do not know and worship the Creator! To allege that "Mother Earth" spun herself, and brought forth all things, unaided, or that a chance concourse of atoms brought forth life, is to do violence to human reason - and all logical thought!
He who contends that he "loves nature", but does not see behind it the Lord God's creative power and Personal, Divine intelligence, has never really begun to appreciate nature. Their eyes are shut to self-evident facts, and the wonder of it all.
Think of the earth itself, poised in space and revolving round the great orb of light from which it derives all its warmth and movement. Yes, it is alive, but it is not an entity - a "being".
Its size, its distance from the sun, its motions, the inclinations of its axis are all balanced and adjusted in such a way as to make possible the kind of life that exists upon it. The stars, the astronomers tell us, are great flaming suns, some much larger than the one our earth is attached to,and there are as many stars as there are grains of sand on the sea shores of the world. There are not only stars but great systems of stars scattered through the vast abysses of space, and all nature, from the starry heavens to the tiny atoms of which all is composed, is governed by unvarying principles - the so-called laws of nature.
Wherever you look in the universe these changeless laws are working. Clearly the Author of all is a Great Law Maker. Moreover, wherever you look you find the evidence of design, a manifestation of the Great Designer Himself.
Consider the manifestation of power in nature. All the energy of the winds and waters, and all the energy of life is derived from the sun. Yet little of the sun's heat reaches the earth. What an outpouring of energy from that one blazing source of heat and light alone - and there are countless millions of suns in the universe. Surely behind it all is the almighty power of the God who brought it into existence.
Thus, every avenue of exploration of nature and its mysteries (and we have in these few lines scarcely touched the fringe of the vast subject) leads to inevitable conclusion that behind the visible universe are to be discerned the power, the wisdom, the skill,and the glory of its Creator.
This New Age would have us believe that there is a FORCE or SOURCE (an impersonal energy) which has brought about the universe, which is as though the universe created itself! Ultimate reality is seen as that LIFE-FORCE in all nature. The GAIA beliefs about the earth being "Mother Earth", a living entity which brought forth life (and ourselves included) from "her womb" are a part of these New Age philosophies. It is so much more reasonable to believe in an ever-existing personal Creator than in an ever-existing impersonal universe which (somehow) created itself! But, PERSONALITY is a glory which we will now consider.
HUMANITY.
What of man? Of all the varied species of living creatures - and there are millions of them - man alone is endowed with an intelligence capable of knowing the God who designed it all. Personality alone can design personality! Can you contemplate an impersonal Force bringing forth the mind of Shakespeare, the music of Beethoven, the beauty of a mother's love, not to mention the wonder of the man, Christ Jesus, who was God incarnate?
Humanity alone is capable of loving response to the Creator. Humanity alone is able to appreciate the marvels of the universe, its infinite beauties, and, by reason of moral sense to realize the relationship of the creature to God and the reverence which should be given.
In the presence of the omnipotent Maker of heaven and earth, humanity must bow in awe. People are not just superior animals (although capable of great degradation). Between people and the highest ape, a great gulf exists - and there are no "missing links" to be found!
THE HUMAN CONSCIENCE.
What an amazing faculty is the human conscience. It is a characteristic that should be given careful attention. Although evil men may have seared consciences, however selfish a man may be, in most cases his conscience takes sides against him. When violated,it inflicts its own punishment. GUILT is a terrible thing.
The conscience can be ignored or stifled or argued with. We may lie to ourselves about our wrong doing. It may be stronger in some than others. It may be lulled to sleep in many, but it is peculiarly sensitive to the presentation of what is true and right, and when truly awakened only one thing can satisfy it - but we will deal with that one thing later.
Conscience is God's monitor in the human heart, that people owe it to
their Maker to do what is good and refuse what is evil. Within every person
is inbuilt this instinctive sense that one ought to do what is good and
ought not to do what is known to be wrong. This is a testimony that God,
Himself, is good and that He hates evil. For if the creature is conscious
of this witness in himself against his own desires that he ought to do
right and not to do wrong, it is evident that only his Creator could have
placed this instinct in his heart.
Nature itself proves to us that a loving God has planned and designed all, conscience declares that that Personal God is good. But all this is not enough. Each person has a deep longing which cannot be explained, and nothing on this earth ever fully satisfies. Every reader of this booklet knows of that longing, an aching wanting. Sooner or later the human heart realizes that this need is something that earth cannot fill. We find human love, but it is not enough - the early thrill fades, our dearest ones go away or die, they disappoint our expectations in a thousand ways. Money, success, travel, sex - nothing meets the deep longing, nothing fills the void. Where is true happiness? We secretly weep!
We are only happy, dear reader, when we know the One who made us, He alone can fully satisfy the need of your heart.
A DIVINE REVELATION.
Neither nature nor conscience can give the heart this knowledge of God which is its greatest need. How to know God, becomes the most vital quest that any of us face. That knowledge must come from God Himself;He must reveal Himself. The thrilling fact is that GOD HAS REVEALED HIMSELF. There exists a written record of His Divine communications - a DIVINE REVELATION - THE BIBLE. Here is no fake "channelling" by demonic spirits who claim to be "E.Ts." This is infinitely beyond spurious communications by evil beings who call themselves "Masters of Wisdom" and "The Hierarchy", and tell of their "Plan". God's communication is TRUTH, not DECEPTIONS of the New Age.
The same sinister spiritual being who has been at work to foist the New Age on the population of the world, and has been working to set up environmental crises in order to create a NEW WORLD ORDER, wants to discredit the Bible! Satan wants to draw men, women and children into worshipping the earth and nature - and to forget about the Creator Himself, who they need so much. Satan wants people to believe that the Bible is a lie, or that its message is out-dated and nonsense.
THE GREATEST BOOK.
Among all the written records in the world this book, THE BIBLE, stands
unique. It towers above all other books in the nature and importance of
its communications, and it has had an unparalleled effect upon the minds
and hearts of humanity. It is not just another book of "religion",
which contains a `message which is similar or complementary to other books
of the world's religions'. The Bible is remarkable in so many ways - it
is THE WORD OF GOD. It is more than just a book, it is a library of books,
66 books. It was written by many different persons, 40 in number. It was
written at different times and in different places over a space of fifteen
centuries. It was written by prophets, and kings, priests and men of humble
birth and also of exalted station. Statesmen, fishermen, a physician, a
tent maker, wrote books in the Bible - and yet, in spite of its vartied
writers and extent in time, its message unfolds with marvellous consistency.

THE GOLD THREAD
Throughout the Bible's varied pages of history, moral law, poetry, prophecy and spiritual truth, runs a gold thread of unity, unfolding to the mind and soul the knowledge of the true God, the ONE AND ONLY GOD. It tells in simple, sublime language that no scientific "facts" can contradict, how the present creation came into being.

In spite of all the Divine care lavished upon them, this race, like the first man, abandoned its privileges and became as wicked as the heathen around. The Bible tells the glorious story of how THE REDEEMER HIMSELF came into the world, how He was treated, how He died and rose again, and how He will COME AGAIN into the world in which He was crucified
OLD TESTAMENT and NEW TESTAMENT
The first part of the Bible (Old Testament) shows us the hopeless state of fallen man who could not raise himself even when given every opportunity for betterment. The second part (New Testament) gives us the marvellous story of God's plan of Salvation, it is in this that God has fully revealed Himself in the Person of His Son - the Lord Jesus Christ.
Here we find the unfolding of Christianity, the great story of the incarnation, the coming into this world of a Divine Person. The almighty invisible, unsearchable God, whom humans cannot see or know in all the majesty of His eternal deity, descended into this world. He became a man in order that we might know God in a way that was otherwise impossible.
SUBLIME TRUTH
In the opening chapter of the Gospel of John, these sublime truths are recorded:
Matthew's Gospel tells us of Christ's birth at Bethlehem; Luke's adds also a fleeting glimpse of His boyhood; all the four Gospels tell us of His perfect sinless manhood, how He went about doing good,and making God known to men. The Scriptures assure us that He was God manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16), that Christ was in His own Person "God overall",yet in very truth became man. He took on flesh and blood so that He might not only draw near to the human race, but enter into death itself for us. Thereby to deliver us for ever from the power of sin and death that we might receive life everlasting.
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST'S OWN TESTIMONY.
SIN AND ATONEMENT.
Christ died because no one can save themself!
If there were any other way the Saviour need not
have died!
If you could save yourself by your good works,
then why would God have sent His Son to die for
you?
If you were not sinful, hopeless and helpless,
why would Christ have laid down His life?
You (and the rest of humanity) could have made
it alone!
Many oppose the glorious truth of the sacrifice of Christ. They believe in a spurious Christianity of their own imaginings - or none at all. Theirs is the old doctrine of human goodness, which history and modern times show to be apathetic delusion. Nothing is written more plainly across the pages of history and the lives of men than these twin facts:
PEOPLE ARE SINFUL AND LOST; &-
PEOPLE CANNOT SAVE THEMSELVES!
What a pitiful spectacle it is; humanity in the bondage and agony of
sin and all its consequences, and yet refusing the one sovereign remedy
- refusing the Saviour of mankind, who not only came from heaven to reach
us, but died to save us all. Do not give place to the foolish and impious
question: "How can His death save me?"
And mean in your heart, "I need no one, but myself!"
Consider this: In the course of human justice, the judge cannot set aside the law; he must administer justice. The criminal is found guilty by the jury; the judge may feel sorry for the prisoner at the bar, but he would be unworthy of his office if he failed to pronounce the sentence the law demands. Human law is enforced by sanctions. If there were none, anarchy would soon ensue.
The universe is founded on law; we speak of the laws of nature. If they were suspended for a moment the universe would dissipate into chaos. Although many strange eddying of storms, winds and oceans sweep this planet, the law and order of nature express the DIVINE WILL in our natural world. We cannot deny of defy these laws and order without reaping the serious consequences which such rebellion incurs. We cannot ignore God's moral laws either, without being called to account.
The Bible sums up the position in two short sentences:-
Do you see at this point the glory of the Cross?
Divine justice demands - rightly demands - cannot do otherwise than
demand - that the penalty be paid.
The Saviour takes the sinner's place and bears the penalty in the sinner`s
stead.
A NEW ORDER - - - IN THE RESURRECTION.
If on the Cross Christ solved the awful problem of sin, in His resurrection He inaugurated a NEW ORDER of life and blessing for those who put their trust in Him and His sacrifice. When He was resurrected, He did not return to the old condition of flesh and blood. He entered into a new and glorious condition of life to which sin had never been attached and death could never touch - this does not mean His resurrection was merely in spirit, for He says to His wondering disciples,
This is not reincarnation but RESURRECTION. The endless horror of reincarnation has not one thing to do with resurrection, and it cannot stand alongside the glory of it without appearing in its own true character - a fabric of monstrous lies.
CHRIST'S SECOND COMING.
In this world which is shaking with CHANGE in the 1990's, a stupendous event is about to happen! CHRIST JESUS, THE SAVIOUR WHO DIED ON THE CROSS AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD, IS COMING BACK TO THIS EARTH! His disciples questioned Jesus Christ about this, and He gave in reply the discourse recorded in Matthew Chapter 24. If the reader refers to this it will be doubtlessly impressed upon them that the convulsions in the world today are exactly the kind of thing the Lord warned His own would take place before His Second Coming.
God has given the human race a long period of probation. Humans have had every opportunity to prove, if it were possible, their ability to bring a better world, and of course, they have failed, and cannot help but fail. Every form of human government has failed and all human attempts at peace have proved futile! Why? Because men crucified the Prince of Peace. Every year at Christmas time people make a huge racket about "peace on earth and good will toward men", and they so often wonder wistfully why, after 2,000 years, it has never been realized. The world is ringing with false "peace" plans today. But peace can never be accomplished by those who know not Christ Jesus our Lord. Men crucified the Prince of Peace! He, who alone could bring men peace, was cast out of the earth. However, He is coming again to vindicate God's rights and to take over the government of the entire globe, as King of kings, and Lord of lords.
THAT COMING WILL BE SOON!
In the meantime, a false "Christ" is being groomed by Satan to take the world's leadership. He is the "antichrist" of the Book of Revelation (Revelation 13 and 18). DO NOT ACCEPT this false "christ", who may be called "THE LORD MAITREYA" by New Age World Leaders. Christ Jesus, the ONE WHO IS TRUTH and LIFE, will take out His own in a translation known as THE RAPTURE.(1 Thess. 4:13- 18). After this glorious occurrence, a time of severe trouble will preceed the appearing of the Lord Jesus to all humanity. Known as THE TRIBULATION, it will last for seven years, with the last three and a half years being far worse than the first period. We warn the reader to receive Jesus Christ as Saviour, NOW, and be safe in Him from God's judgement which will come upon rebellious men.

JUDGEMENT - JUST AND FAIR.
God is going to cleanse the earth of evil in order to prepare the way for Christ's Kingdom on earth. Then will be fulfilled the prayer often uttered unintelligently ... "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven". What a time that will be for God and men, when as the Scriptures say:
THE END...
Having thus triumphed over everything that is opposed to the One and Only God, Christ will then bring this creation, as we know it, to an end. Heaven and earth will pass away; the dead will stand before God at the throne of judgement to be judged according to their works. Those who have put their faith in Christ will not stand before that tribunal. They will have already passed into their appointed blessing to enjoy with Christ their eternal inheritance.
(Revelation 20, 21 & 22; Ephesians 1:3-14).
Finally we are told of a new heaven and a new earth from which sin and all its consequences will be forever gone and in which God will dwell among men, in conditions of eternal joy. The unrepentant sinner will be shut out. How could it be otherwise? How could the rebellious, haters of God and other creatures, the rejecters of Christ be in a paradise with God?
This is a summary, far from exhaustive, of the faith Christians have held, striven, and died for, for nearly 2,000 years. It has not changed, and it cannot, because it is DIVINE TRUTH, as given by DIVINE REVELATION.
No, there are NOT equally truthful, honourable and glorious revelations of God in other books of man's religions, so many and varied! The BIBLE stands alone.
THREE SILENT WITNESSES.
1. The Creation, the Universe around us proves the existence and power
of the Person of our Creator (Romans 1.).
2. The silent, irrefutable witness of conscience shows God's goodness
and justice.
3. The Supreme witness of God's own Word, the Bible, breathes forth
the TRUTH for all who will see and hear.
But there is one thing that God does look for from ourselves, from you - and that is repentance - the frank admission that we, that you, have failed in our duty to Him. You have not loved and obeyed God, you have not loved others as yourself.
No one can expect to get the benefit of the sacrifice of Christ while they presume to stand before God on the ground of their own goodness, their own supposed "godhood", and their own merit in any way.
There are two classes only of people in the world.
Which one are you in, dear reader?
1. Those who own Christ Jesus as their own personal
Saviour.
2. Those who do not, and will not.
APPENDIX.
This NEW AGE with its NEW WORLD ORDER makes many claims to "love the planet" and to want to bring peace. Yet, the delusion of such matters are evident from the ghastly beliefs present in the teachings of this NEW AGE. The world is in the grip of occult, devilish, political and religious, international and national leaders! GAIA, worship of "Mother Earth" doctrines abound. We warn the reader that these beliefs are leading into MASS POPULATION "culling" or "shrinkage". So severely twisted are the teachings of the New Age New World Order, that the powers-that-be intend to "cull" or dispose of, up to 4 billion of the human inhabitants of the planet - in order to "save Mother Earth". Only the True God loves and cares about human beings - yourself and your family. Turn to the One Who loves you so much! Have nothing to do with the New Age with its false "Christ".
