We are encountering the doctrines of devils which are bringing about the One World Church of the New World Order. One of the New Age horror heresies which is gripping the lives of millions of church-goers is Kingdom Now or Dominion Theology. This unscriptural theory is from the very pit of hell - BE WARNED, Christian! It is basically the belief that Christians are to go forth and conquer, to set up a victorious Christian political, spiritual World Empire BEFORE Jesus Christ returns. This idea is humanistic, appeals to the selfish pride in the carnal minded. Jesus Christ ALONE will set up His Kingdom. The Bible tells us that if Christ did not return, the entire world would perish in the period the Bible calls the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24).

In this booklet we aim to present the main doctrines and errors of the huge movement DOMINION THEOLOGY. There are a number of startling developments which should be carefully examined by all Godly Christians in these serious days when Satan is seeking to set up the antichrist system.
 

"But it is dominion we are after. Not just a voice. It is dominion we are after. Not just influence. It is dominion we are after. Not just equal time. It is dominion we are after. WORLD CONQUEST. That's what Christ has commissioned us to accomplish." (Dominionist-Reconstructionist George Grant)

[There is not room in this brief critique to set out the whole teaching of the Word of God on these subjects, WRITE FOR DETAILED NOTES IF YOU REQUIRE THEM].

Will you trust in the arm of flesh, or in the Mighty Lord Jesus Christ. Will you aid the glorification of mere man, or will you be found waiting for the revealed glory of the Great God and our Saviour? (Titus 2:13).
 

The visible reign and earthly Kingdom of the Messiah was anticipated by Israel in the past, but it was not realized when Christ came two thousand years ago. WHY NOT? The Jews rejected Christ Jesus, and the Kingdom of MYSTERY became a reality in human hearts. Christian believers are declared to have been translated into the Kingdom of God's dear Son. (Colossians 1:13). The "Church", the "Body", the "Bride", our bodies as the "Temple" now fill the picture. While the Church is the Kingdom manifest now, it must never be confused with the coming of the visible world-kingdom of the Son of God. The Kingdom is a spiritual experience in the inner being of believers, today, and yet this is not the visible KINGDOM when Christ establishes His rule over the globe (Isaiah 11).

The Dominionists teach that the Kingdom was brought into being at Pentecost. We have only to ask ourselves, "did the events at Pentecost (or since Pentecost) fill out the pattern of Old Testament prediction about the establishing of the earthly Kingdom? Did the events of the early Church satisfy the tremendous prophecy of the Old Testament about the coming of the Kingdom?" THE ANSWERS TO THOSE QUESTIONS ARE A RESOUNDING, OF COURSE NOT!

ISRAEL, THE CHURCH AND THE STATE. The diagram below shows the different orders, arrangements of the plan of God for the history of mankind. (Greek, "oikonomia", the management. 1 Cor. 9:17; Eph 1:8-10; 3:2-3, 8-9; Col 1: 28-29; 1 Tim 1:3-4. These passages show the Church Age or "arrangement).

What influence can a Christian have on a non-Christian State? Should Christians seek to force the State into compliance with God's laws? Is our country of Australia really more "Christian" than, for example, China? Could anyone imagine that Australia could be a Theocracy in this present age? These are pressing questions as we face the future when the antichrist system is seeking to establish a merger of church and State in the biggest con the world has ever seen! The antichrist will set up a false "christian" church which will be political totalitarianism of an iron-fisted, murderous nature. BEWARE LEST YOU AID HIM IN THIS PLAN, WHICH IS COMING TO FRUITION IN OUR LIFETIMES.
 

1. We are to be lights shining in the darkness of sin, warning others, keeping society from corruption as THE SALT. Our lives and doctrines seasoned with knowledge and grace.

2. Christians are to be advisors of mankind, who are lying in a vast mass of wickedness and ignorance, about to putrefy. The Lord is giving many of them over to the "altered consciousness" of the New Age, the reprobate mind the Bible speaks of.

3. To actually seek to overthrow a pagan government, to deal in the affairs of State, to take the world politically by force for "Christ" is something quite different entirely! God has NOT given any mandate for any such action.

4. In New Testament times, despite the extreme paganism of the State, the Roman Empire served as "a minister of God to you for good" (Romans 13:4).

5. PRAYER POWER, the presence of the Living God in the believers, is an invisible spiritual impact which can never be over emphasized. PREACH JESUS, and HIM CRUCIFIED. One hour of true prayer and Holy Spirit witness, is worth a thousand marches through the street in cooperation with the Godless and false denominations who dishonor the Living Lord, and seek to gain political power and engage in mere social action.
 

1. "These nations are stronger than we are? How can we drive them out?" (Deut 7:17). Answered by people who claim to be Israel, the "church" in these words from the Old Testament. "Do not be terrified by them for the Lord God who is among you, is a great and awesome God." (Deut 7:21). "For the Lord your God will deliver them over to you, and inflict defeat upon them" (Deut 7:23). "Therefore wherever you hear the sound of a trumpet, rally to us there, our God will fight for us" (Neh 4:10).
 
 
 

THE CONCEPT OF A NEW SOCIETY IS ONLY SEEN IN THE NEW TESTAMENT IN EXPECTATION OF THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST. (Heb 9:26; Rev 1:1-3; Heb 9:26).

THE DOMINIONIST, KINGDOM NOW, THEONOMIST MOVEMENT IS ANTI-SEMITIC, THEY ARE WORKING AGAINST ISRAEL.

The KINGDOM NOW, or DOMINION THEOLOGY teaching is continuing to make rapidly inroads into churches across the world. This theological persuasion has penetrated into evangelical, pentecostal and mainline charismatic denominations, the proportions of this thing is so huge that some leaders from overseas are stating that an entirely new denomination is being formed by this movement. There are dangerous trends emerging, the area we will deal with here is the anti-Semitic trend.

Because the Dominionists believe that Israel has no place in the plan of God since the Church of the New Testament was formed, the obvious question has been asked by them, WHY HAS ISRAEL TAKEN OVER PALESTINE? These theologians do not acknowledge that Israel will be restored to the land of promise by the hand of the Almighty. The Kingdom Now people apply the Old Testament promises to the Church, never to Israel, they see no victory for the Israelis, only the Church triumphant! There is contempt for the Jews growing at a fast rate amongst those who allegorize the Biblical prophecies, just as there was in Hitler's day. As David Allen Lewis, Assembly of God Pastor, has put it in his book, "Prophecy 2,000": "Many of Hitler's henchmen quoted outstanding Christian theologians in justification for feeding the Jews to the gas furnaces. The Church in Germany had taught the "doctrine of contempt" for the Jews and it was gist for the Satanic Nazi's mill. Beware of the Kingdom Now teachers for this reason, as well as all the other reasons." (Page 268).

Many and various are the gigantic power-plays which are eddying against the tide on our planet in chaos. The "Christian" Church scene has militant movements galore fighting for global supremacy in the '90s! The New Age Catholic trends, with doctrines of Teilhard de Chardin (a ravaging New Ager); Liberation Theology; Liberalism with radical social action fronts; Neo Evangelical Marxism - leaders with big ambitions who envisage a Christian dominated New World Order. Let us prepare ourselves for conquest plans in the churches! WHY? It is just common-sense, really. If the ambitious Church apostates wish to conquer the world, they must first conquer and dominate the emerging world church.

The Pentecostal Churches make up the largest Protestant group in Christendom, with 332,000,000 members (including Charismatics) in the world, probably more. Given the fact that these Church-goers often support the Church with large donations, and as any conquest needs funds, it would seem evident that the Pentecostal groups would be targeted in this power struggle. Despatch has read of the rise of NEW APOSTLES AND PROPHETS who are declaring that the age of the shepherding movement has past! Clergymen will be told that they must accept the authority of these New Apostles, or God will remove His anointing from the church. These struggles, however, will be about political control of the church: "Any local minister who accepts the apostle of his region opens the door for an outside authority to bypass the authority of his fellowship or denomination. We then have a super ecclesiastical authority which exercises authority beyond the pastor's fellowship of affiliation and ordination. It looks like the big question might turn out to be "Who will be the pope of the Pentecostals?" (David Allen Lewis).
 

1. CHRIST AS COMING KING IS DISHONORED. HIS APPEARING IS NOT WELCOME
The reconstructionists are leading the people of God away from the true victory, IN CHRIST. They appeal to a carnal desire in the natural man to be a winner. They destroy the joy of wanting the Coming King, the Prince of Peace Himself, to take over the government of the world. The dominionists declare that the CHURCH will be the Saviour of the planet.

2. MANKIND, IN THE "CHURCH", SEEKS TO USURP THE COMING KING.
NO MERE MEN can ever take rule over the planet. This is the whole problem of this fallen world, men wanting to take things into their own hands. No matter how readily the dominionists quote this scripture or that, THEY DO NOT QUALIFY TO RULE THE PLANET!
 
 
 

 
3. THE ANTICHRIST KINGDOM IS BEING BUILD WITH THE AID OF THE "CHURCH"
The choice has come, at this time in history, between two regimes - ANTI-CHRIST or CHRIST. Let us hear from the much loved author, Dave Hunt, on this vital point, may the Lord cause us all to listen with spiritual ears: "The kingdom/dominion/Reconstructionists have misunderstood both history and prophecy. Their vision of the kingdom is too small. They have lost, along with the hope of an imminent rapture to heaven, the vision of immortal, glorified man returning from heaven to reign with Christ in His kingdom. Instead, they imagine that God's plan for human history can be fulfilled by those still in flesh-and-blood bodies. On the contrary, as we have noted, to enter the kingdom requires a transformation into glorified bodies like Christ's." (1 Corinthians 15:50-53).

Here in Australia we are seeing the signs of a great separation occurring between those who await the Second Coming of Christ and believe in the Rapture, and those who desire to take Australia and even the world FOR CHRIST. Many Christians are taking sides in this separation without even knowing that they are. Many, we are sure, do not know the incredible seductions being foisted upon them by the enemy of our souls who seeks to cause our love of Christ, and our delight in His appearing, to be destroyed. Now, after the severe apostasy of the churches in the last few years, NOW, (if it were not bad enough), the people who call themselves Christian do not even want Christ to return to solve the shocking problems of a world in separation from God - they insist THEY will solve it all themselves.
 

"The requirements of being "born again" which Christ explained to Nicodemus, is not a catchy slogan or a vague theological term, but an absolute necessity and reality. God has to do something radical and remarkable in order to fit us for His presence."

Dave Hunt continued:

"The rapture, Great Tribulation, and the millennial kingdom ruled by Christ in person, assisted by His resurrected bride (the Church of God), are all part of God's progressive dealings with man and must be taken for what Scripture states, not twisted to fit our ambitions." (Parenthesis mine).

Dave Hunt goes on:

"We have noted the dangers inherent in the growing belief that a Christian elite has a mandate to set up the kingdom without Christ's personal presence. Yet nothing less that an absolutist theocracy will hold in check the evil and bring about radical solution that the world's ills require. Moreover, international developments point inexorably to the establishment of such a regime. It will either be under the false religion of Satan and his personal incarnation, or under the truth of God and through the personal intervention of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Whether men are ready to admit it or not, the only viable choice is between CHRIST and ANTICHRIST. NO MERE MAN OR GROUP COULD QUALIFY TO RULE THIS WORLD, all of the good intentions of COR (Coalition on Revival) and the Reconstructionists and assorted other dominionists notwithstanding."

A society where the Christian Body is strong spiritually benefits from the blessing of the Lord through association. There is a kind of spiritual overflow through a holy, Bible-based, humble God- fearing believer's very existence which is an "invisible spiritual pivot". Believers are the royal family of God. We exist in every nation on the globe, and although the Church and the State are separate in this age, the unheralded nucleus of the nation (made up of all who truly serve the Mighty Creator), affects that nation and ultimately explains everything that occurs in that nation - even to the rise and fall of power (Psalm 34:15-16).

Are you a hero then in this challenging, astonishing period the Bible calls THE CHURCH AGE? Are you acting the part of a ROYAL AMBASSADOR? Will you have an impact on time and eternity? Will you and your fellowship do things God's way, or will you be sucked into the enormous Latter Day apostasy - DOMINION THEOLOGY?

If you've been sitting on the side lines and wondering just what this ruckus about dominion theology is all about just look at some of these events of the last few weeks. First, some Reconstructionists have become so upset over the contents Hal Lindsey's new book, Road to holocaust, that, without even seeing a copy, they have threatened a lawsuit against Lindsey's publisher. Second, when Hal was interviewed on "Praise the Lord" on TBN two weeks ago he received a very hostile response from Jan Crouch. Then. last week on TBN one well know evangelist suggested that Christians should pray that God would kill all those leaders who are opposing Dominion Theology. God is purging his church and purifying if for a great revival, and that believers need to be willing to use violence if necessary in order to help bring in the kingdom.

This violent message is really scary. I can't believe that Christians can be so gullible as to swallow it, but they are Just look at the May and June issues of Charisma Magazine. A six page ad in the May issue announces the "Take by Force" conference to be held in Phoenix in August. They're calling it "a God Happening". In large letters they "...invade, conquer and possess the land. Deut.2:24. "Further they completely rip Matthew 11:12 out of context and announce "...the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force." The call to be willing to use violence to bring in the kingdom can't be more clear. Even if that violence is directed against Christian brothers and sisters.

An issue of Christianity Today carried an article on dominion theology that predicted that it would be the hot issue Christianity in the 1990's.

According to Dominionist's those who believe in the any moment return of Jesus and are not willing to commit to violence to bring in the kingdom are obstructing the coming of the kingdom and are preventing the outpouring of God's Spirit on the earth. Before long we will be openly declared to be outpouring of God's Spirit on the tragedy. But the greater tragedy would be ignorance of the issues and sitting on the side lines, do you know where you stand and why?
