The rise of the New Age New World Order as a ruling world dictatorship has reached a climax! The huge part that the Tribal peoples of the globe are expected to play in a massive take over of the world, must be addressed by all these Christians who really care about the tribal peoples. This booklet has been drawn together in an attempt to alert and challenge the indigenous people who love the Lord Jesus Christ, and who are saved by trusting in His sacrifice on the cross. We would urge you to prayerfully read the contents of this open letter, as though it was written directly to yourselves.

Questions to answer in brief:

1. What is this "New Age New World Order?

It is a HIDDEN worldwide coming together of occult, pagan beliefs, now becoming heavily Luciferian (that is, worshipping Lucifer as Satan). It is a power explosion of evil which has almost established a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT, A ONE WORLD CHURCH AND A ONE WORLD ECONOMY.

It is a conspiracy instigated by Satan himself.

The networks of this ORDER number in the tens of thousands, but the main organization which seeks to bring about a ONE WORLD is the UNITED NATIONS. The New World Order is not just political it is a NEW AGE RELIGION!

2. What is happening through the United Nations?

So vast is the extent of the work of the United Nations and other NEW AGE groups, that a brief booklet cannot do justice to that question. But, for our purpose here, we can answer in these ways:

(a) The United Nations intends to draw all the pagan religions together in order to form a ONE WORLD CHURCH under a ONE WORLD LEADER. False 'Christianity' is involved in this, the Pope will certainly be the head, but authentic Biblical Christianity can never be a part of this ORDER.
(b) The United Nations, and other New Age organizations, see the Earth as divine,a Goddess, who they call "Gaia, Mother Earth". This is why the reverence of nature, and the call to "Save the Earth" is so strong today.
The DEEP ECOLOGYbeliefs of these Gaia people are very mystical indeed.

EARTH SPIRITS;

THE ENERGIES OF MOTHER EARTH;

THE BELIEF IN THINGS SUCH AS LEYLINES AND RAINBOW SERPENT PATHS;

3. How is the ORDER bringing about World Domination to enslave all nations?

Again, a huge question, but to answer in a very small way.
(a) Every nation will lose its nationhood in order to form a ONE WORLD.
(b) All money will be changed into world currency, ( possibly to be called the " Phoenix"? ).
(c) Every person on the globe will be expected to have ONE MIND, that is to agree on NEW AGE BELIEFS.
(d) The whole world is going to be GLOBALLY EDUCATED (not just the children, everyone) into occult, pagan beliefs and practices. This has already started in Australia.
(e) Those who resist will eventually be killed off. These people intend also to reduce the population of the earth by 2 -3 billion people anyway, in order to make "Mother Earth" l ess burdened.
(f) Everyone will be expected to honor and reverence THE EARTH AS DIVINE (AS GOD).
(g) "Peace Creating" forces of the United Nations are even now bringing societies into bondage to the ORDER.

4. WHAT PART DO THE TRIBAL PEOPLE OF THE GLOBE
....PLAY IN ALL OF THIS?

The tribal people are very much desired in this New Age, why? Because they already have religious beliefs which are naturalistic, spiritualistic and are earth centered in worship. The tribal people's demonic beliefs will aid the ORDER in its take over of the world. So the United Nations and other New Agers are glorifying, glamourising and pushing the tribal beliefs,all across the world.

5. IS IT JUST COLOURED PEOPLE
....WHO ARE BEING ENCOURAGED INTO THE TRIBAL BELIEFS?

Not at all! New Age whites, as well as the coloureds, are very excited about TRIBAL RELIGIONS,and millions of people on the earth see the return to TRIBAL BELIEFS and PRACTICES as being the only way to restore the Earth to health. These Gaia people want to bring back sacrifice to the earth, sacred ecology worship and PANTHEISM, for every person. What is PANTHEISM? The belief in an impersonal source or force in nature, which is called "God". IT is seen as an energy of life, IT is not our Father in Heaven, IT is in all living things, therefore ALL IS ALSO "GOD". You are supposed to be "GOD" all people are "GOD".

THE UNITED NATIONS HAS DRAWN UP A DECLARATION OF RIGHTS FOR THE TRIBAL PEOPLES OF THE WORLD.

These rights seem so good!
They present the TRIBAL PEOPLE as the FIRST PEOPLES of the earth.
But, things are not as they seem in this declaration (a part copy is in the back of this booklet ...vide Appendix ).
These "rights" will actually CEMENT the indigenous peoples in devilish traditional religions!
They will not be allowed free access to the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to the liberating truths of God's Word,
the Bible. (note in particular, the "rights" marked with (), vide Appendix)

No. 1.......
If the white Christians insist that the tribal religions are evil, demonic, pagan,enslaving to spirits and not of the true God they will be branded as "racist", "bigoted". The God of the Bible is considered to be, in this New Age, the GOD of the imagination of theWHITE RACES.

No WHITE PERSON OR PERSONS can really protest against all this glamourising of, and honouring of,
the indigenous people's pagan beliefs.

No 2.

The white New Agers are very open to all this deity in the tribal religions. They are tired of Christianity and have itching for other religions, and they want Earth-centered rituals. They have had atomic and nuclear bomb scares; industrialisation destroying the rivers and polluting the air; computers dominating their lives and taking over their jobs; greed for money and position driving them into misery and competition gone mad plus television and videos filling their minds with horror, violent killing and perverted sexuality. They have had enough. The pagan religions seem to this sad generation an escape back into paradise, a return even to a sort of Garden of Eden. The white New Agers do not know that the indigenous peoples of the world are enslaved to demonic forces which drive them into terror! The white New Agers do not even think about the evil things that tribal demons do to the indigenous people. Driving them into fear, trances, pagan practices and bondage.

Such men as David Suzuki, nature worshipper, part of a world move to establish "ScientificElders", have the attention of the world today. Yet, how little Suzuki, realizes the evils of the tribal religions, which he regards as having "culturally valid perspectives on nature".

Suzuki writes:

"...selected Western "elders" of science...provide a continuous Juxtaposition of Western and

Native thought,...to help stitch the culturally diverse vignettes into a quiltlike whole."

The horrors of shamanic SWEAT LODGES; SMUDGING [burning herbs or leaves for purifying]; drumming up POWER ANIMALS; RITES OF PASSAGE; PSYCHIC POWERS; and THE SACRED CEREMONIES of BLOOD SACRIFICE TO THE "EARTH GODDESS" are upon the earth in ugly revival across the planet. The "Goddess" will again demand human blood spilling from her priests and priestesses before much more time transpires!

No. 3

THE NEW AGE NEW WORLD ORDER WANTS TO STOP THE SPREAD OF THE GOSPEL.The Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the World is the only hope for anyone on this planet. The coloured peoples need the Gospel so very much, especially now, when sinister, hideous world forces are seeking to close the door on them ever hearing of the One TrueGod's love and mercy and of His Son's blood, shed on Calvary for their sins.

WHAT ARE THE ANSWERS TO THESE BIG PROBLEM AREAS WE HAVE JUST PRESENTED?........

No. 1.

The coloured Christians surely have a big job! They should rise up and declare strongly that the TRIBAL, INDIGENOUS RELIGIONS ARE NOT GOOD, BUT BAD. They must tell strongly how their families have escaped from bondage to these tribal,demonic forces. The coloured Christians can not be branded "racist" or "bigoted"for doing so, because they are also non white! The coloured Christians can show that the Biblical God is not a respector of skin colour, nor a white man's God at all. God is for every culture; for every skin type. Jesus Christ died for all races, it is so, it is true. SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE NEW WORLD ORDER'S GLAMOURISING OF PAGAN, TRIBAL BELIEFS. Your voices may be the only ones which will be listened to.

No. 2.

The white New Agers need to hear from coloured Christians whose families have escaped the horrors of tribal paganisms! These New Agers are completely engulfed in the ridiculous propaganda of the ORDER, they will so often not listen to WHITE Christians who they regard as having closed minds.

No. 3

The coloured Christians are urgently needed to spread the Gospel of JesusChrist with great fervour for the days are short before the Second Coming of our Great God and Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ. The tribal peoples of the world are almost at the stage when the devil will seek to cut them off from the Gospel altogether.

THE BIBLE CLEARLY RENOUNCES ALL HEATHEN WORSHIP OF NATURE, and the MAKING OF IDOLS WHICH DEPICT NATURAL CREATURES AS "GODS".

Romans Chapter 1 is only one passage which shows the wrath of the Heavenly Father against pagan New Age worship of the earth, and the corresponding tribal religions. God "points the finger" of accusation against such religions in TEN WAYS in Romans chapter 1,

God declares:

(1) They "held down" the truth about God (1:18).

(2) They really knew who God was, but they did not want to honor the true Creator(1:21).

(3) They did not thank the Lord (1:21; Romans 1:8; 1 Thess.5:18),(4).

(4) They made up foolish myths and "imaginations" (1:21).

(5) They ALLOWED their hearts to become darkened, because of their own choice(1:21).

(6) They thought themselves very wise and clever, but only became fools, allowing Satan to drive them like cattle, into deceiving THEMSELVES. (1:22).

DOES GOD EXCUSE BECAUSE OF "IGNORANCE"?

The pagan religions might think that God will excuse all this because of ignorance, (Romans1:18,32), but God sees things otherwise. Romans shows that all men have both the witness of conscience (1:19) and that of nature (1:20). These are TWIN WITNESSES against the New Age and the Tribal religions, and these are UNIVERSAL, ALL men are exposed to them and are tried BY THEM.

(1) Their own consciences, they KNOW right and wrong.

(2) NATURE ITSELF, so obviously made by a Creator's Hand.

Prince Charles of Great Britain has written a foreword to the book "Save the Earth" by Jonathan Porritt .

(published by Angus & Robertson for "Friends of the Earth").

In it the Prince writes:

Our ancestors may not have developed a sophisticated technology, but their insight into the hidden, unconscious aspects of the laws of nature were simple and profound and in one sense

more sophisticated than our own".

"The ancestors" Prince Charles writes about are non Christian believers in pagan myths.

Prince Charles goes on:

"Greek mythology, in the symbolic language of gods and goddesses and strange creatures,

is telling us about some of the eternal truths we need to understand in order to redress the

balance in our lives and to meet the challenges the world faces".

Here Prince Charles tells the reader that ancient pagan "Greek mythology" has "Eternal truths".

Prince Charles quotes from a psychiatrist who is greatly admired by the New Age C.G. Jung.
And C.G. Jung said at the very end of his life:

"A myth is the revelation of the divine life in man".

Here the Prince shows that he believes that all mankind is "a spark of God", not lost and spiritually dead, as the Bible teaches (Romans 3:9-20), and the pagan myth making is the way that "godhood" is revealed.

Then the Prince goes on to blame the environmental problems of the planet ON CHRISTIANS,
and the teaching of THE BIBLE: He writes:

"In Western terms, one of the underlying factors which may have contributed (by being taken literally) to the desire to dominate nature, rather than live in harmony with it on a sustainable basis, is to be found in the Book of Genesis where it records that "God said unto man, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the Earth and SUBDUE it: AND HAVE DOMINION OVER THE FISH OF THE SEA AND OVER THE FOWL OF THE AIR AND OVER EVERY LIVING THING THAT MOVETH UPON THE EARTH."

To me, that Old Testament story has provided Western man, accompanied by his Judeo Christian heritage, with an overbearing and domineering attitude towards God's creation ... a feeling that the world is somehow entirely man's to dispose of- as income rather than capital asset which needs husbanding. By contrast, the Koran specifically mentions the fact that the natural world is loaned by God."

In this last quote, the Prince tells the reader that because the Bible passages in the book of Genesis were actually believed, then this has contributed to a misues of the planet, with greed and squandering of resources and ruin from poor farming and poor industrial action which brings harm to the environment, BEING BLAMED ON THE BIBLE TEACHING. Then, if that was not enough, Charles says that Mohammedism (the Koran) has much better teaching about the "natural world".

Can you see how even this world figure, the heir to the throne of Great Britain, has developed pagan ecology beliefs, and anti-Christian ideas about "Mother Earth"?

Many, many others in high places in this earth also follow these ecology beliefs.

THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLES' COMMENTS
ON AN ARTICLE, "SPIRIT OF THE EARTH"
by Dr. Ralph Locke, (published in "Conscious Living", Issue No. 13).

The article, "Spirit of the Earth", by Dr. Ralph Locke, shows clearly the SPIRITUAL DIRECTION and the UTTER CONFUSION which is marking this "New Age" or "Aquarian Age". Multitudes of well educated, professional and outstanding people in the world's eyes, are going back to the religions of the tribes. Not only are these leaders in the sciences, education and even business, adopting the beliefs of Hindus, Buddhists and the like, but they are entranced by NATIVE BELIEFS of other cultures.

Locke writes of a visit to Central Australia in "Spirit of the Earth". He is excited as he writes, thrilled about his encounter with Australian Aboriginals in the outback. A sad aboriginal named "Charlie" is described in the article. A lost alcoholic of ancient age, who abuses Ralph Locke and demands "more grog, just a little bit", slurs his words because he is drunk, and sings in "high nasal tones." Charlie is to be Locke's guide into "The Dreaming", as they trek out into the wilderness of Australia.

Locke is, nevertheless, ready to be 'taught' hidden mysteries of nature in the bush by Charlie,and writes in very reverent tones, "In the Dreaming, the ancestors who made the landforms, the creatures of the earth, and the relationships between the denizens of the world still live". He goes on, writing of the "ancestors" who "still live": "They are summoned out of a virtual domain by song, dance, story and simple remembrance."
(Christians of course know that these "ancestors" are really demonic spirits impersonating the dead).

Locke Writes:

"Throughout Aboriginal Australia, these is a quickening of the old spirit as the Dreamings are recovered, told, sung and danced. At first, the return was a trickle of colour down the brushes of isolated artists onto Nature's canvas, the bark and cloth of the people's environment. Now this flow is a torrent from the hidden psyche (or soul) of the dark Dreaming which belongs to Australia. Initiation, in Northern Australia in particular, is being revived. The young look for a connection with the broken thread of their ancestry."

See here the demonic growth of spiritual evil moving amongst the Australian Aboriginals, a"revival", as the people are influenced by the New Age ' preachers"? Locke mentions a New Age Network (a network is a support connection that works together with others, many people in cooperation), called "World Indigenous Sciences Network". This Network is working to bring together in power groups all indigenous peoples of many nations. Native American Indians who remain tribal, for instance, are "networking" with Australian Aboriginals. There are many "Networks" being formed today between tribal peoples of different nations. There are scores of organizations such as "World Indigenous Sciences Network" which are New Age,and are working to build bridges between the native cultures in diverse lands.

Read what Dr. Locke writes about the terrible problem of alcohol abuse amongst aboriginals:

"Since 1967, the destruction of Aboriginal Culture, families, and individual lives has accelerated, just as it did for the Native Americans, as booze poured into bodies and the spirit of the people poured out in blood and pain. Western medicine, Aboriginal Alcoholics Anonymous and the Christian churches have made little headway against the tide of misery."

Here Dr. Locke shows the problem of alcohol abuse, but declares that "the Christian churches"are powerless! That is not so, for only Christ Jesus can aid these coloured people, and bring them to God, and save them from sin, despair and hopelessness.

The answer to all the problems of the aboriginals is shown in the article
to be "the old ways"of ancient tribal beliefs:

"The Native Americans called a halt to the ministrations of their governments and returned to the places of their forebears, there to ask for inspiration. It came in the form of the wisdom of the elders. A return to the earth and a celebration of the values which precededWestern colonization gave new hope, new roots and new identity to those who had descended into the hell of welfare dependency and alcoholism.... A whole new breed of "Treatment Centres" has arisen at the spiritual centre. Native Americans have revived the Sun Dance, the sweat lodge and many other powerful rituals which now serve to stem the tide of alcoholism. The elders and healers have acquired new dignity, reminiscent of the old ways. In Aboriginal Australia, the same pattern is emerging."

Comments Locke:

"An old man like Charlie from the Southwest of Western Australia looked at me closely when I told him about the "new" ways of approaching alcoholism. He . . . .told me how he had cured men and women by looking into their bodies and seeing their spirits."

Visits from Native American Indians are occurring in Central Australia. In the bush, 150 kilometres from Kalgoorlie in W.A., a bush camp is being created by the New Age inspired tribal people.

Says Locke:

"They can listen to the SPIRIT OF THE EARTH through both the revived and newly created songs and stories which chart the passage from intoxication to joy (not happiness), illness to health."

But, of course, Christians know that real joy only comes from being in a right relationship with the Heavenly Father.
The fruit of the Holy Spirit of the Bible is JOY. The evil spirits of "Mother Earth" will bring only bondage, misery, moral corruption and eternal death!

The African tribal people also are networking with the coloured people of Australia, leading them more and more into
the New Age New World Order, with its religious, pagan acceptance.

Says the white man, Dr. Ralph Locke:

"These movements are of PROFOUND SIGNIFICANCE TO ALL AUSTRALIAN PEOPLE, WHATEVER THEIR ETHNIC BACKGROUND."

For we, as late comers, still stare at the centre of this great continent from its periphery, huddled at the coast, and wait for the voice which will confer the nature of our belonging. It has arrived!
Will we listen?

It is important that, at a time when the world convention on the environment has just finished,that indigenous people's voices were heard, loud and insistent. There is a real value in listening in our own country where the Spirit of the earth is being renewed. Aboriginal people are retrieving their souls lost in bottles; theirs is the dignity of knowing this country in a primal and enduring way".

See here the movement of tribal culture right into the hearts and society of white Australians? Yes, the "indigenous people's voices were heard, loud and insistent" at the June, 1992 world environmental Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. BUT, those voices were not representative of ALL indigenous people. Many have trusted in Christ Jesus as Saviour, and KNOW that worship of "Mother Earth, Gaia" and trust and reverence for earth spirits is of Satan, not God. These CHRISTIAN indigenous peoples should make their voices heard too!

BURNUM BURNUM, Australian Aboriginal story teller, actor and activist, who made a claim to"possession" of England on behalf of the Aboriginal people, made the following statement to CAROLYN JONES, famous radio broadcaster.

BURNUM BURNUM is a NEW AGE believer, who supports EARTH REPAIR ACTION, which seeks to unite people, communities, religions and nations in a One World of Common "peace".

" You've suggested that there is a spiritual meeting place for the people of this country from whatever tradition they come. Does this suggest that the churches have an important part fo[sic] play? "

"Yes, and if you asked me the question, `What part of Australia or the Earth is sacred space?',I would say that, `From an Aboriginal perspective, every square inch'. In fact, it can be said that every step we take is a prayer. The Europeans who are here now have many ways that they express their religions through their churches and temples. The sacredness of those spaces,just like our sacred sites and our important places in Australia, should be converted, or could be converted, into an expression of land rights. In other words, if each church and religious organisation in Australia acknowledged a prior occupancy right of Australian Aboriginal people,from a spiritual perspective, then maybe, through some ceremony, those churches could make a treaty that gives them the spiritual right to worship in their churches with an acknowlegement of spiritual land rights to the Aboriginal people. It WOULD MAKE ABORIGINAL PEOPLE MUCH HAPPIER IF WE WERE SEEN TO Be spiritual regal landlords. The churches themselves would find that they had earned their right, their spiritual right if you like, to worship in those places. Because then, when you go into a church and light a candle to see the sun, to realise the omnipotence of the great creator, the Great Spirit in Aboriginal terms, Baiame, or whatever he is known by us, that there is only one God,the omnipotent original creator of all people.

I guess we need to recognise and respect each other. What I'm saying about the churches is that, individually, each church and religious organisation could give spiritual title back to the Aboriginal people with lease back to perpetuity to those churches so that they will always remain a sacred site, in the same way as Aboriginal sacred sites have been designated. Because certain special spiritual events take place in all the sacred sites and that commonality is very important for the future spiritual development of Australia."

"It's the first time I've heard that expressed and it's a beautiful and refreshing way
of looking at what appears to be a problem."

Yes, there's a remedy for every problem and the reality of tomorrow is that we all have to sink or swim on this beautiful continent and that encourages me to think that there's plenty of opportunity. For instance, the Australian Government, in my opinion, should allow Aboriginal people to celebrate our first 250 bicentenary in 1992. That would give us the opportunity of belatedly welcoming all the new Australians, including the English to our soil. This would allow the whole world, the fourth world movement if you like, the Eskimos, the Kalahari Bushmen, the Ainu from Japan, the Lapps of Northern Europe, and the North and South AmericanIndians, all these other beautiful expressions of humankind that are seen as indigenous minority groups, to be recognised as the original inhabitants, the Aborigines of each continent, if you like."

(The New Age New World Order wants pagan, tribal religion to take power over other religions,and to assume "spiritual" authority over churches. How important that the Christian coloureds" speak thou the things which become sound doctrine", {Titus 2.} in reaction against this Tribal religious revival of evil!)

The Book of Genesis has a glorious prophecy concerning the coloured peoples of the world. One which has been terribly misinterpreted, at times, but God is not mocked!...

The Hamite races (Canaan, by the way, was the son of Ham, who was Noah's son Genesis 9:25 ), have been predicted to become "a servant of servants shall he be to his brethren". This has been interpreted by the dominant races to mean "slave of slaves" but slave is not the meaning of "servant", here God has again turned a curse to a blessing.

The descendants of Noah's son Ham, included the Sumerians, the Egyptians, the Ethiopians and other great nations of past days. The Asia nations of the present day are almost certainly"Hamites". Modern African tribes, the Chinese and Japanese, the American Indians and the SouthSea Islanders and the Australian Aboriginals are probably Hamitic, predominantly, in their origins, possibly also the Torres Strait Islanders.

In his book "The Genesis Record", a Christian Professor of great scientific and Biblical knowledge, Dr. Henry Morris shows the astonishing contribution of the Hamite "servants"of mankind. (Remember, as you read, our Lord's words:
"And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all". [Mark 10:44]).

MORRIS WRITES:
about the many ways in which the Hamites have been the great `servants' of mankind as follows:

1. They were original explorers and settlers of practically all parts of the world, following the dispersion at Babel (the scattering of the races at the tower of Babel).
2. They were the first cultivators of most of the basic food staples of the world such as potatoes, corn, beans, cereals and others, as well as the first ones to domesticate most animals.
3. They developed most of the basic types of structural forms and building tools and materials.
4. They were the first to develop most of the usual fabrics for clothing and the various sewing and weaving devices.
5. They discovered and invented a wide variety of medicines and surgical pract ices and instruments.
6. They invented most of the concepts of basic practical mathematics, as well as surveying and navigation.
7. The machinery of commerce and trade money, banks, postal systems, and so forth was developed by them.
8. They developed paper, ink, block printing, movable type, and other (means) of writing and communication.

If one traces back far enough, he will find that practically every other basic device or system needed for man's physical sustenance or convenience originated with one of the Hamitic peoples. Thereby they have been the "servants" of mankind in a most amazing way" (page 240, 241).

In these days when the United Nations, on behalf of the New Age New World Order, is seeking to inflame the tribal peoples of the world into demanding "their rights", where will the coloured Christians stand? In a time when The New World Order is manipulating the "Hamites" into a fruitless search for dominance as the "First Peoples", which will only lead to abject slavery,will the coloured Christians show a Godly way?

THE PROPHECY OF "SERVICE",
WILL IT BE ENLARGED IN THESE LATTER DAYS?
What "service" to mankind lies ahead of the people of God who are of the earthly line of HAM? How incredibly vital are their voices of love, humulity, raised in a totally different way, not demanding prestige or position, but laying down their lives to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a world which is in chaotic darkness. YOU ARE THE LIGHTS, as God's redeemed people.

"Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name"

In all this, of course, we must keep the balance that EVERYONE who is a Christian should be a "servant" regardless of where their roots came from, Ham, Shem or Japheth (Noah's 3 sons). We are all ONE BODY (Christ's Body The Church), ONE SPIRIT (the Holy Spirit) and ONE HOPE. And have a black and white UNITY, in the new man and in our new position (Eph. 4:46). The Mighty Unifier of ONE BODY, is our ONE GREAT SAVIOUR, blessed be His Name. (Eph. 4:7; ! Cor. 12:56)

Strong Voices for Restoring the Heathen Tribal Religions.
There are other STRONG VOICES for restoring the heathen tribal religions to whole "planetary home" WITH NATURE WORSHIP. " "SCIENTIFIC ELDERS" recently had an international conference on the environment and economic development in MOSCOW, which was attended by religious, political and scientific leaders from eighty three nations. A public statement, entitled "Preserving and Cherishing the Earth: An Appeal for Joint Commitment in Science and Religion", was issued. Those who signed this statement were WESTERN SCIENTISTS, the most influential and respected scientists of the 1990's. Including astronomers Carl Sagan, Freeman Dyson, physicist Hans Bethe, atmospheric scientist Stephen Schneider and biologists Peter Raven, Roger Revelle and Stephen Jay Gould.

One of the passages in this statement follows:

"As scientists, many of us have had profound experiences of AWE and REVERENCE before the universe. We understand that what is regarded as SACRED is more likely to be treated with care and respect. Our planetary home should be so regarded. Efforts to safeguard and cherish the environment need to be infused with a vision of the SACRED".

Can the reader see that "sacred" means "divine" or "god"? Should anyone "reverence" the creation, or should he reverence THE CREATOR? David Suzuki, environmentalist and New Age thinker, made a comment on this international statement signed in Moscow:

"Interestingly ( if anyone really needed proof that many Native thinkers have long been aware of the precious resonance between their own and scientific perspectives on nature), the person who first bought this statement to our attention was the well known American Elder Thomas Banyacya, who has served as a spokesman for certain traditional Hopi (Indian) Committees for several decades."

The statement represents an urgent appeal for a joint alliance between the world's religious and scientific leaders to forge a new, scientifically compatible ethos that might preserve and cherish the Earth.

One day soon the Lord Jesus Christ will descend with a shout, the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God, and this world will never be the same. Indigenous peoples have the right to maintain their distinctive and profound relationship with their lands, territories and resources, which include the total environment of the land,waters, air and sea, which they have traditionally occupied or otherwise used.

Indigenous peoples have the collective and individual right to own, control and use the lands and territories they have traditionally occupied or otherwise used. This includes the right to the full recognition of their own laws and customs, land tenure systems and institutions for the management of resources, and the right to effective State measures to prevent any interference with or encroachment upon these rights.

Indigenous peoples have the right to the restitution or, to the extent this is not possible,to just and fair compensation for lands and territories which have been confiscated, occupied,used or damaged without their free and informed consent. Unless otherwise freely agreed upon by the peoples concerned, compensation shall preferably take the form of lands and territories of quality, quantity and legal status at least equal to those which were lost.

Indigenous peoples have the right to the protection of their environment and productivity of their lands and territories, and the right to adequate assistance including international coªoperation to this end. Unless otherwise freely agreed upon by the peoples concerned, military activities and the storage or disposal of hazardous materials shall not take place in their lands and territories.

Indigenous peoples have the right to special measures for protection, as intellectual property, of their traditional cultural manifestations, such as literature, designs, visual and performing acts, cultigens, medicines and knowledge for the useful properties of fauna and flora.

In no case may any of the indigenous peoples be deprived of their means of subsistence.

Matthew Fox, [apostate Catholic Priest] director of the Institute in Culture and Creation Spirituality, in California, one of the top leaders in this New World take-over, has much to say about the relation between `Mother Earth' and native religions. [ Strong associations with the Uniting Anglican, and Catholic Churches]

Fox writes of the New Age New World Order beliefs about `Mother Earth' and the religions of the tribal peoples in his book, `The Coming of the Cosmic Christ'

Fox believes the earth is dying partly because the tribal religions are dying. Mankind has an urgent task, according to Fox. That task is to strengthen and support the tribal religions.
He writes:-

" 1. MOTHER EARTH IS DYING The first meaning of the warning, ` Your mother is dying,' can be taken in reference to Mother Earth. That the earth is our mother is a deeply held truth among native peoples of the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe. Among Europeans, the teachings of the great Benedictine abbess of the twelfth century, Hildegard of Bingen, stand out: ` The earth is at the same time mother, she is mother of all that is natural, mother of all that is human. She is the mother of all,

for contained in her are the seeds of all ' [HB,58]..."

Fox goes on:-

" 6. NATIVE PEOPLES, THEIR RELIGIONS, AND CULTURES ARE DYING The oldest religions on our planet are not the ` great world religions' of Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, but the religions of the native peoples of the Americas, Africa, ancient Europe, Australia, Polynesia, and Asia. In these religions one finds deep memories of what essayist Frederick Turner calls `aboriginal mother love' These religions arose in cultural periods that were matrifocal. They reverenced Mother Earth and her fruitfulness: they were nondualistic in their celebration of the `sacred hoop' that binds all creatures and gifts of the earth together - the rock people, the cloud people, the tree people, the finned ones, the winged ones, and the two-legged ones.
