Getting
to know God together.

The sky is blue outside.
The trees are filled with
birds singing and twittering.
I have just gotten out of
bed.
Soon the fresh water of
my shower will make me all clean and ready for the day.
I love the smell of soap
and the feel of soap lather, don't you?
I cook toast, and it melts
the rich butter I spread on it. Honey as well would be nice.
UMMM, the smell of hot chocolate
ready!
The movement of others in
the house tells me another day has really begun.
I give thanks to God for
just being alive.
How wonderful to live another
day with my Heavenly Father.
I thank Him for the loveliness
of little things.
Every day is a new beginning.
I am so glad God gave us
day and night, because we are able to always start again.
If one day goes awfully
wrong, we just sleep it off - and start again.
It would pretty awful if
things just went on and on, and there was no night at all. God is so good.
There are always things
to laugh at too.
Fun games with friends.
Running, swinging, splashing
in a pool, throwing a ball, funny stories and pictures.
God is so good to make us
who we are.
Yesterday was a hard day
for me.
My car broke down.
I had to walk a long way
to ring up my friend.
She had lost her car keys
and had to use an old spare one.
Her car was almost impossible
to start because the key was a bit broken.
My dog, Dolly, was vomiting
when I finally got home.
I thought she was very sick
indeed.
Today is another day. Dolly
is better.
All the troubles are yesterday.
Today we are all going to
the "Honey Bee" for morning tea.
There are swings, slides,
animals and go-carts there.
We are taking a little boy,
Jared, with us.
There are always lots of
things to thank God for.
My car trouble was not that
bad, soon fixed.
My friend's car keys were
found.
No matter how hard troubles
may be, we can always start again in a new day.
Thank your Heavenly Father
for just being alive.
Let your Father God be your
happiness for today, and be glad in Him.
"O
give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good:
for
His mercy endureth for ever."

Or find it yourself and
read.

Yes you!Why, because they are old and sick and you have your whole life ahead of you.
How
can you make a success of yourself?
Only one way, by putting
your whole life in the hands of God.
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge..."
He will give you His wisdom
from His holy book, the Bible.
He will protect you, bless
you, guide you in the difficult decisions of life.
God
is love.
He will lead you in the
paths of righteousness.
The reason why old people
who do not know God would exchange their lives for yours is -
they are running out of
life, and fear death! Also many of them have terrible memories,
even awful guilt, because
of the godless lives they have lived.
Jesus Christ has promised
those who trust Him that they will have ETERNAL LIFE.
They will never die.
I have accepted that wonderful
gift, who wouldn't.
I hope and pray you have
too.
"...the
gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
(Romans
6:23).
"...God
hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son."
(1 John 5:11).
