It has been really stormy weather where we live.
I went to the beach to see the foam on the sea shore, and it was wonderful!
All over the beach great piles of froth were being blown about by the wind, and I could see lots and lots of foam coming in on the waves like piles of soap bubbles.
I ran through the foam and scooped it up in my arms, it just disappeared when I grabbed it.
I was having great fun until I saw that there were "Blue Bottles", dozens of them, in the sand under the piles of froth, which had been washed up on the beach.
"Blue Bottles" are poisonous little sea creatures that float on top of the sea, with very long tentacles, which can wrap around your legs and give you a horrid sting.
I can tell you after that, that I was very careful not to walk on them.

Another time, years ago, after bad storms, I saw mountains of foam on the beach,
higher than my head it was!
People were running through it and having lots of fun.
They couldn't see where they were going, and some ran right on into the sea.

Life can be real fun can't it.
But the Bible shows us that we live on a fallen world.
That means that our world is not perfect in love and goodness
like God the Creator intended it to be.
Sin and death are here.
We all need Jesus Christ so much because He knows All things. He is perfect.
Sometimes things can seem fun but underneath there are dangers, just like those "Blue Bottles". People can sometimes seem nice and kind but not be what they appear to be.
You need the Lord Jesus to be your friend and guide all through your life, for He can see those dangers and will keep you safe if you let Him.
He wants you to believe in God's care and love, and to never feel worried or scared.

"Come unto me, ...and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28).

A PRAYER FOR YOU:

The older you get the more you see of the fallen side of life.
Television is filled with the ugly, sinful side of life, and school, the streets and
even home sometimes can be dangerous.
Jesus Christ is my protector, how about you?
How great it is to be able to take everything to God in prayer.
Praying and living with the Lord is thrilling stuff!
Have you come to Jesus for rest and does He carry all your burdens in life?
He does in mine, He can do it for you too if you let Him. Are you born-again yet?
