Getting
to know God together.
THE FORCE
Star War films are all about
the New Age “Force.”
This is supposed to be an “energy
field”.
A sort of natural and spiritual
Force.
The Force is supposed to bind
and keep the whole “galaxy”
and all living things together.
BUT the Bible shows us that
GOD our Heavenly Father
is the real One Who does all
that!
He is not some kind of force,
He is a PERSON who loves, and
cares and knows us.
And we can know Him as a Divine
Person.
He is not a human person,
He is God the Person.
We can talk to God in prayer,
and He answers us.
He speaks to us in the Bible.
THE JEDI KNIGHTS
The Star War films have Jedi
Knights
who are supposed to draw their
strength from “tapping into” the Force.
They are supposed to be able
to make the Force do what they want.
BUT the Bible shows us that
God the Person is in control,
no one can muddle around with
Him,
or make Him do their bidding.
No one can use God as a sort
of power that you use like electricity.
THE DARK SIDE AND THE LIGHT SIDE.
The Force is supposed to have
two sides.
One is “the dark side” and the
other is the “light side.”
Good and bad are in the Force.
BUT, the True God Who controls
the universe and our world is not like that.
He is ALL Light, ALL good.
There is no darkness or evil
in Him at all.
Not one bit!
THE PEACE AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE
FORCE.
The Star Wars tell us that if
we “tap” the light side of the Force
we can have great peace and
knowledge.
The dark side bring anger and
fear.
BUT, the Bible shows us that
no person can find peace
without first taking Jesus Christ
as their Saviour,
and being born-again through
trust in His Cross.
All people are in the “dark
side” until they do that.
