A Prayer Army Needed!

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God:

I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand

He [the Holy Spirit] teaches us how to pray, and I don’t think there has ever been a prayer upon this sin-cursed earth that was inspired by the Holy Spirit that was not answered. But there is also much praying that is not inspired by the Holy Spirit.

In years gone by, I was very ambitious to get rich. I used to pray for onehundred thousand dollars, that wasmy goal. I used to say, “God does not answer my prayer; He is not making me rich.” But I had no warrant for such a prayer, and that is the case with many people; they pray that way; they think that they are praying, but they do not pray according to the Scriptures. The Spirit of God has nothing to do with their prayers, and such prayers are not the product of His teaching.”

The Latent Power of the Soul.

As we entered this new millennium there has been a vast resurgence of black religious POWER. A strangerecurring phenomenon seems tooccur in history; the wickedness of evil Satanic religions always seems to strengthen and be revitalized as one millennium ends and another begins. Globally we are now in a period where the POWER of such religions is enormous, pouring out in the atmosphere of our world through the psychic “prayers” of billions of lost souls, all intent on placating, appeasing and serving the false “gods’ of this “New Age.” “New Ages” such as these are as ancient as the snake in the Garden of Eden. The soul-power of fallen men and women can be used and possessed by Satan, thus making the supernatural capabilities of such deceived people a truly awesome FORCE.

The rise of the One World Church, bringing legions of occultic and erroneous religions together in Unity, has added to the psychic power used by Satan in this weird period of history. Add to this the all-out endeavours of such groups as the Islamic fanatical followers of Allah (Satan under yet another title), with their huge gatherings for “prayer” to Allah, as another example of the POWER being gathered on our earth. The Muslims meet with hundreds of thousands of devotees “praying” for power over nations, that they should conquer countries, punish infidels and control the beliefs and worship of all that they see asbeing against their “god”. Satan seeks through them, to do battle against the God of the Bible, the Lord Jesus Christ and His redeemed in using the latent power of the soul in hugenumbers of Muslims. By this “latent power of the soul” is meant the untapped soulical “energies” laying dormant within fallen humanity.

Many, many other supernatural forces are being extended against the population of planet earth at this period. Perhaps in a far greater way than ever before in any period of history – we are almost certainly very close to the rise of the ultimate supernatural weapon against mankind being unleashed –the ANTICHRIST! Satan incarnated in human form!

The astonishing warfare against the churches, against the children of the planet through Global Education, the evils of the flood of counterfeit doctrines, “prophecies” and twisted beliefs throughout the Western world where Christianity once held a firm stand in pockets of sound and staunch Biblical adherence, is horrifying to encounter. ALL of this has been accomplished by SUPERNATURAL MEANS; it could not have been done otherwise. I have been reading of various strange organizations that head up the hundreds of thousands of networks, which comprise the New Age New World and its syncretized political system. These lead organizations are, beneath the surface hidden away, EMPOWERED Satanically. Bloody rituals, serial killings, aborted babies being sacrificed – the lot! Can I be serious, dear reader? Yes indeed, many are exposing this in our day. Just recently we received a book written about the horrors of the CIA, and other alphabet organizations with global influence, and MIND CONTROL, GUIDED IMAGERY, DEMON POSSESSION, OCCULT MEDITATION, SATANIC RITUALISTIC RAPE etc is happening on a grand scale. They ‘pray’, and lo(they believe) the council of European nations is set aside. What a lesson to Christendom!

And how is soul-force cultivated amongst the vast Hindu population of India? If the gatherings of Mahomedans are large, those of Hindus, who meet for devotional exercise, at their great festivals, are ten times larger. The Hindus point with pride to their sacred places of pilgrimage, where they assemble by hundreds of thousands. At the great Magh Festival at Allahabad, millions of Hindus assemble every seven years.

Prayer – an exercise of devotion which unites Hindu and Mahomedan into one common action, to generate ‘soul-force’ in order that it may be projected upon Western nations, to undermine their power and prestige in the East. It is the greatest revolt known in history!” (“Soul and Spirit”, p.p. 56,57.

What are The Christian Prayer Troops Doing?

That is an impossible question to answer in many ways. There are major things we have to take into consideration. Sadly a lot of “spiritual warfare” these days in our churches is really about the “Latent Power of the Soul” in action. The book by that name by Watchman Nee is very helpful here, (Christian Fellowship Publishers. Inc. USA.)

·How much true prayer is being offered up for the right reasons by “Christian” churches must also be taken into consideration.

Much of what we see is about spiritual warfare to take dominion over the earth for Christendom! This too will fit into the Antichrist’s plans, as apostate Christendom merges with the other dominionists (or “Kingdom Now” proponents) desiring a global unity. Those religions that view the Pope as the one who must head up a One World Church will form a syncretism that will set up the “Kingdom of God” but it will be a counterfeit kingdom. Much “prayer” today in churches has the forces of the soul being used for political means; in order to have a “Christian” society worldwide. This is culture-salvation, State religion, which is not Biblical. This movement is already heavily aligned with the Parliament of World’s Religions and the Globalists - the Church of the One World.

When church-goers see the answer within themselves instead of in God, the “faith” power of themselves being used to claim towns, cities and nations for “God”, with power coming forth from the inside of believers, energy coming from their extended arms etc – I’m afraid that is obviously soul-force being used by the enemy of men! The same is true about groups who march around cities seeking to spiritually pull down Satan’s evil spirits from the atmosphere above the earth – in order to take over from these principalities and powers. No church groups or combined ecumenical movement can take away those evil spiritual powers and principalities in the atmosphere, only Christ Himself can do that when He returns to earth at the SecondAdvent. Revelation 19.

·I cannot say that there are NOT good prayer groups in churches, how would I know that? 

I am saying there are fearfully false doctrines and aims being peddled in our denominations in these Last Days. 

·Does that not pre-suppose that prayer is being affected as well?

·How much so-called “prayer” is really a lot of noise and confusion of tongues, and soul-ical forces being extended in Pentecostal churches, and is mere formality in weak evangelical and fundamental churches? 

Lord, this is our prayer to be offered up right now:

“Heavenly Father, open the spiritual eyes of all born-again people in our nation and the world. Pour out Your Spirit we pray, that sincere and Christ-honouring people everywhere might be drawn into mighty prayer in the Holy Spirit. Cause us all to cry to our God in Heaven. Teach us to pray in Your will as we see the world being inundated with Satan’spsychic forces.We ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”

·What about you and I? 

There are many Christians who now worship outside the denominations, either in independent fellowships in halls, or home groups. Some fine Christian believers hang on in the denominations, seeking to witness and alert others. We often are keen to be used of the Lord in a vital way. 

·Have you heeded God’s call for prayer soldiers? 

·The young married people may say they are busy with family affairs and business matters, they have NO TIME for dedicated and intense prayer. Older believers may be retired, but still declare they have NO TIME for serious, dedicated, prayer battle and intercession. Be quiet before the Lord God as you go over your life as you live it now. 

·Are you wasting much time with activities of no value at all? 

Television, useless “shopping” outings, wandering around finding things to do if you are retired. 

·Are you wasting a mountain of time talking on the telephone, watching videos, reading magazines, going on outings to watch football or play sport, or visiting family and friends?

You have NO TIME left for 

intercession and prayer battle – 

and on it goes!

No, I am not suggesting that you give up all your fun, I am telling you to realize that TIME IS SHORT! 

·How ashamed you will be at the Judgement Seat of Christ if you have wasted precious time doing nothing much for long periods – while the world was being vacuumed up into a nightmare of devilish activity and doctrines of demons! 

·Do you care, beloved of God? 

We redeemed ones of the Lord were NOT left on this earth, after we were saved, in order that we should buy and sell, build up a big bank balance and waft around enjoying our days. We were left here to witness to ChristJesus, His coming as Saviour, of His birth and death and resurrection, of His salvation. We were left here tolive out the plan God has for us, that we might pray, do battle against the enemy, witness and praise the living God. 

·How much time do you spend in prayer every day?

Sometimes we can deceive our own selves. 

·We say, “oh well, the world is in a terrible state, but what can I do? It is all too much for me. In the end we can only pray.” 

This suggests, subtly, that the last resort is prayer, as though prayer was what one does when there is nothing left that we can do. But the opposite is true. Prayer is the MOST POWERFUL thing we can do, it is top priority, and it is imperative. Satan wants to blind us to that fact. Prayer is such a spiritual work that believers can be so earthly minded that they cannot really see what prayer is doing – and they have to get out in the “real world” not sit around in their houses praying. As though we were “talking” to no one, just offering up some words to a God we cannot see. Yes, we believe in prayer in the abstract – but when it comes to every day affairs, seeking God and sacrificing up our time, we don’t show we believe in prayer much at all. How much do you pray, do you really pray in the Holy Spirit’s power? Is prayer for you rather like this: ten minutes at morning devotions, a quick prayer during the day if things go wrong or you want a parking space for your car, and an occasional pouring out of your heart about YOU and YOURS and your own affairs. “Help us decide what holiday to take, dear Lord.” “Show me the best colour to paint our living room.”

The false religions (Mormons, Muslims, New Age Goddess Movement, Hindus, Luciferian Theosophists, Hindus etc) are very dedicated, the “prayers” go up continually from millions of deeply devout souls – where are YOU, for you are a priest called of God? 

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: “ (1 Peter 2:9).

·Are you quite willing to work for the Lord as long as it is “out there” speaking, teaching or playing instruments or singing? 

·But you will not consider a prayer ministry because there is nothing in it for you?

·It is unseen by men, and therefore not that attractive? 

I hope that none of that is true of any that read this. 

·Are we in touch enough with spiritual reality to realizeour responsibilities?

·

“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father Which Art in Heaven, 

Hallowed be thy name.” (Matt. 6:9).

The Location of God by Believers.

God is in Heaven, we must always pray to the Lord in Heaven, not God in the atmosphere around us or the God within ourselves. We do not want to make a “god” of our own who can be counterfeited by evil spirits.

“…he [the believer] becomes more conscious of the presence of God by the Spirit, and in the spirit, and so begins to locate the Person of God as in, around, or upon him. Then he turns inward, and begins to pray to God as within him, which in time, really results in prayer to evil spirits, if they succeed in gaining admittance under counterfeit.

The logical sequence of prayer to God as located within, can be pressed to absurdity, i.e., if the soul prays to God in himself, why not pray to God in another elsewhere? The limitation of God as a Person within, and all the possible dangers arising from this misconception of truth are obvious.

Some believers so live inwardly in communion, worship and vision, as to become spiritually introverted, and cramped and narrowed in their outlook; with the result that their spiritual capacity and mental powers become dwarfed and powerless. Others become victims to the “inner voice,” and the introverted attitude of listening to it, which is the ultimate result of the location of God as a Person within, so that eventually the mind becomes fixed in the introverted condition with no out-going action at all.

In fact, all turning inwards to a subjective location of God as indwelling, speaking, communing, and guiding, in a materialistic, or conscious sense, is open to gravest danger; for upon this thought and belief, sedulously cultivated by the powers of darkness, the most serious deceptions, and final out-workings of deceiving spirits have taken place.”

·What are we upAgainst?

The very air around us is becoming so polluted with deceptions, demonic oppression and spiritual darkness that one hardly knows how to begin to comment. Obviously the whole scene globally is vastly more horrific than any investigator could ever understand or expose. Recently documents came into our hands which could never be written about in Despatch magazine or Beauty for Ashes. This has to do with the political leaders of the New World Order, Presidents of the United States;politicians; many are well-known names to us, in film and entertainment fields as well.The documents are graphic revelations about the 

·Monarch Slaves, 

·sex slaves; 

·Luciferian rituals and 

·blood sacrifices; 

·drug running, 

·pornography films, 

·pedophile groups in high places 

– just to mention a few details.

·PRAY for those involved with the horrors of ABORTION, worldwide. Women are being “encouraged” into abortion with the lies that the unborn baby is not a person! It is expedient for the secret world leaders to have babies killed, it will bring down the population of the earth by millions. Young women with “problems” in that area are easily persuaded it seems, and yes, they too are guilty! But the medicalkillers have coerced and manipulated them, as have feminist groups. There are something like one half a BILLION unborn babies killed worldwide! 

·PRAY for the movement of God in hearts and lives.

·PRAY for the groups speaking up against abortion and those who picket the clinics.

·PRAY against the deliberate killing by AIDS of the world’s population. This too is an initiative to bring down the population of earth. 

I personally spoke to a New Age top level leader in Brisbane some years ago, one Norman Myers, who was on his way to meet with governrnent leaders here. He said, quite openly, that the population of the earth may well have to be reduced by 90% in order to “Save the Planet.” In Africa, 1997, the figures on Aids were compiled by the USA census.

The LOW RISK population of Africa would still die, 15-36 per cent of them. People who were not immoral, who were not homosexual etc.

The HIGH RISK population of Africa would die, 40-80 percent of them. These were the homosexuals, army people, government prostitute users, the promiscuous heterosexuals, their sex partners etc.

This AIDS has been deliberately brought about. It is GENOCIDE, the greatest tragedy of all history, involving all the world.

·PRAY for Christ’s salvation for people in every country. It is impossible now to keep a check on how many people are coming down with HIV because of the disease becoming a civil rights issue instead of a contagious disease issue.

Spiritual forces of Satan are energizing the ungodly in our day massively. Look at our own country, which is rather a meek and mild sort of place compared with America and Europe (arguably). Homosexuality is embraced and encouraged, the New Age has brought blatant Satanism right into our cities and towns. 

·How many psychic fairs and occult shops have you seen in your locality? 

Not to mention here what goes on in the dark night, in the mountains and hidden away in some group gathering or other. New Age doctrinespollute our churches, false religions proliferate whilst Biblical Christianity gets harder and harder to find! The schools here have been indoctrinated with all sorts of global educational techniques and brain controlling teachings. If you doubt this get any books by Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt, who once served as Senior Policy Adviser in the Office of Educational Research and Improvement, U.S. Department of Education. She is a “whistle blower” who has dedicated her life to warning the world of the awesome Plan to educate your children for the coming united world.Do a search on Internet for her material. 

After this miniscule listing of just a few of the enemy’s forces and his ultimate Plan to take over our planet, 

·What can we gather above all else?

I would see it like this: 

WE NEED MIGHTY PRAYER TO THE FATHER IN HEAVEN!

THE REMNANT CHURCH OF GOD NEEDS TO BE CRYING

OUT IN INTERCESSION FOR PEOPLE IN DANGER.

3.What/Who Is Greater, The Lord God Or Fallen Humanity’s Psychic Powers Aligned With Satan’s?

Let the Creator answer that question:

“For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.”

(Psalm 95:3-6).

“God …His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.

Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.

He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.”(Habakkuk 3:3-6).

Without a shadow of a doubt theAlmighty God is greater than anything Satan can cause fallen humanity to do! GOD is greater than any of the plans of the Illuminati. 

·So, why does HE not stop what is going on? 

·WHY does God require our prayers at all? 

·Can’t He just bring all this horror to an end, once and for all? 

Yes, He could do that, and He will do it when the time is ripe. God has to bring His righteous judgement upon the Gentile nations yet, and bring His chastening upon Israel as well – all this happens in the Tribulation [ “Time of Sorrows” and “The Great Tribulation”~7 yrs]. After the Rapture the Church of Jesus Christ must be judged and given white robes. “The Marriage Supper” must take place, and a lot more, all before Christ Jesus comes to bring peace, order, justice and God’s Kingdom into this world. 

In the interim we, the redeemed of the Lord Jesus Christ, have a holy work to do on planet earth. 

·Why does God not send His power and deliverance for the needy, lost and abused men, women and children who are suffering, confused and LOST?

·Does he have to wait for our prayers before He can save the lost individuals around about us? 

Here is what the mighty preacher; D. L. Moody had to say about this in his book “Secret Power” pages 95,96:

“We read in the Scriptures of the sword of the Lord and Gideon(See Judges 7:15-22). 

Suppose that Gideon had gone out without the Word; he would have been defeated. But the Lord used Gideon, and I think you find all through the Scriptures that God takes up and uses human instruments. You cannot find, I believe, a case in the Bible where a man is converted without God calling in some human agency, using some human instrument. Certainly, in His independent sovereignty, He can do it without the human instrument; there is no doubt about that. But that is not His way, that is not His method. Even when, by the revealed glory of the Lord Jesus, Saul of Tarsus was smitten to the earth, Ananias was used to open his eyes and lead him into the light of the Gospel.

I heard a man once say that if you put a man on a mountain peak, higher than one of the Alpine peaks, God could save him without a human messenger. But it is “the sword of the LORD, and of Gideon” (Judges 7:18), and the Lord and Gideon will do the work. If we are simply willing to let the Lord use us, He will.”

As it is with witnessing, preaching and teaching, so it is with PRAYER. God could do the work by Himself, but He uses you and I, men and women who are human beings saved by Grace, to cry out for the souls of the lost, and to intercede for suffering and blinded humanity. WE are to use the WORD as well in prayer as we do in preaching and teaching. The Holy Spirit will guide us into His truth about how to pray, He will pray through us and teach us to pray. NO, God will not stop the rise of the Antichrist system; it hasalready been established by edict! Itis a PREDICTED climax of the Church Dispensation, the Tribulation of seven years. But, God will have mercy and give light and safety in Christ Jesus to the deceived and lost as we pray for individuals. He will, I believe, work in their lives because we pray for them, and if we do not some will go into the ghastly Tribulation period to suffer under the Beast.

We can pray for those who are trapped in evil teachings, children especially who are being cleverly manipulatedby global education in the schools of the world. 

·Pray for those who are swamped by deception in the churches, that God will grant to them enlightenment, the opening of their spiritual eyes. We do not have to even know their names, we can simply pray that church-goers will be woken up from their slumber by the Holy Spirit, and be shown Jesus Christ as Saviour, Lord and TRUTH. So many to pray for, the Holy Spirit will show the humble child of God how to intercede if you and I care and love enough to PRAY.

·Have you ever heard a person speak out New Age doctrines believing that this was Biblical Christianity? 

I know you have, we all have.

Perhaps you have spoken to them to warn them, but no notice is taken of your earnest entreaties. Maybe you then have taken written material to thatperson, about the New Age doctrines he/she has been deceived about. BUT, it is as though they are blind, cannot read, as though your words fall ondeaf ears! This is spiritual interference; Satan has them blinded and deaf indeed. 

·PRAY for God’s Holy Spirit to break through that evil deception, cry out to God to have mercy upon them.

·Your own family members, are they all saved and walkingobediently with the Lord Jesus?

Possibly they are a mixed company – some not saved at all and against the Gospel, some saved but weak and worldly, some strong and safe in Jesus as Saviour and Lord. 

Young people in your family need prayer especially, we all realizethat I guess, but ...

·Do you diligently, powerfully bring them to God in intercession?

The temptations are everywhere , as they have never been in any otherdecades we have encountered. Good Christian teenagers can turn into rebellious and ungodly young adults in a flash. Bad company can draw them away from God. Satan is like a roaring lion seeking to destroy the families of Christian believers, to bring the adults to heartbreak and a grieved and useless life. 

“But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” 

(Luke 18:16).

4.What Is SpiritualResistance and Attack About?

There has been so much written about this subject, we have many books here on this. I have found that so much can be studied about “spiritual warfare” that confusion can reign in the end! Not that the various books are not very helpful, but this is about the REALITY of getting going and actually praying and learning with the REAL Holy Spirit in charge. I can read and read, but what I have to do is pray and pray! Now this becomes a farce if one is onlyrepeating words over and again. Perhaps when you pray you bring things as usual to the Lord, and then “dry up” so repetition happens,because you want to pray longer. 

·What can be done if this is so?

“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.”(Matthew 6:6-8).

There are questions like 

·“how long should I keep praying for the same thing, before I just rest in faith?”

And 

·“how can a earnest and true Christian become a SUCCESSFUL intercessor with Christ? 

·What is the secret of this great ministry?” 

A good deal of help can be extracted from Jessie Penn-Lewis books onspiritual warfare, but I would caution the reader to get only a small booklet on this. I have one here called simply “The Spiritual Warfare.” It has only 46 pages. The larger books by Penn-Lewis can be confusing and overwhelming to a person who just wants to get going and dedicate their livesto interceding for our world in thisperilous period of the end times.

I am praying for the reader,I am praying right now that YOU will take up the task in great seriousness. We are all called to this, God is calling us all to prayer. NOT to just study up the subject, that is useless in this vast emergency. The monarch slave documents I have been reading have made me realize anew how heinous the New World Order global masters are, they are abandoned to the black arts of the devil, with his supernatural powerbeing behind their works.

·a)Who can pray and get

RESULTS in the supernatural world?

The first great victory is always in your own life. No human can expect to have God’s might in prayer if they are not filled with the Holy Spirit. I do not mean you have to have fallen down “under the power” or that you have to be a Pentecostal, or to have mighty experiences! I mean just what I wrote, filled with the Holy Spirit. All your sins confessed before God, clean for your daily walk (1 John 1:9), thus you can ask for and receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit. God will not fill a dirty vessel, sin must not be harboured. We must abandon ourselves to the Lord for His use.We should ask God to fill us with the Spirit daily, this filling is NOT a once and for all happening. Some say they are filled because they speak in tongues, despite their lives. God says this:

“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.” 

( Ephesians 5:8,10).

The test of whether we are filled by the Spirit of God is whether our lives are LIGHT not darkness, whether we have the fruit of goodness, righteousness and truth in our very inner beings. 

·Have we the righteousness which alone is acceptable to God, the fruit of the Holy Spirit?

Only the Holy Spirit can teach us to pray, and He must intercede for us and through us if we are to have victories in the spiritual realm, asRomans 8:26,27 shows us:

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” 

·b) What is praying without ceasing?

This is an important question, for I believe God wants us to be trained up in this “watching unto prayer.” If we mean business with God overinterceding in deep seriousness, then HE will work a work in us that will cause our spirits to be so in tune with Him that prayer will burst from our spirits everywhere we are. Not necessarily aloud, of course. We will be a barrier to Satan’s plans and purposes, just by being present in a place. We will see a political leader’s face on television and God will cause us to burst out in prayer in our spirit; we will be praying over all matters as we encounter them, the Holy Spirit as intercessor lifting people, events and places to the throne of God. 

·A bit too “spiritual” for you? 

·Too much of an other worldly life for you? 

Then consider just where are you at, dear one of God. MOVE out of your worldly comfort zone and laxity, it is getting close to the end of this age, wicked spiritual reality is exploding across our earth – something horrifying and weird is happening globally. YOU are safe in Christ Jesus, multitudes are not. We are the people of the LIGHT, we are surrounded on every side by the DARK – SHINE little candle:

“If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light. “( Luke 11:36). 

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” 

( Acts 26:18).

“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:”(Ephesians 5:8).

Things are coming to a head in this world of wickedness. The deceived masses are expecting global peace through the United Nations, the Parliament of Religions and all the “tolerance” and “mediation” going on. New Age DIALOGUE is happening everywhere -worldwide. UNITY inDIVERSITY is the cry – this means come together against the God of the Bible in reality. Just as this occurred at the Tower of Babel. Spiritual Babylon is coming ALIVE in our lifetimes. God’s people see a different picture, we do not walk in darkness as the unsaved do. We see Satan’s son of perdition about to be revealed. We have to be wide awake, it is time to get out of our spiritual beds:

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; …”( 1 Thess. 5:3-6).

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” ( 11 Thess. 2:3).

“Praying without ceasing” does not mean that times of prayer in our own rooms, set times alone with the Lord, and time in groups is NOT required. This can be a delusion. We can satisfy ourselves that we are “praying without ceasing” and actually use it toexcuse ourselves for not entering into our rooms to pray at all. Be honest with yourself, this is no time for excuses and dilly-dallying. As I read this issue to myself I sense how moved I am about the urgency for powerful prayer. THE LORD is doing this, He is bringing about in my spirit a new awareness! I had almost completed another Beauty for Ashes for September, it was three-quarters of the way written up. The computer just swallowed the material, we could not find it again no matter how we searched the data files. A dear young lady who belongs to the Lord said that maybe God had wanted me to lose thatmaterial, I think He did. He wanted me to write about intercession instead. Thank you, Ruth. Satan is coming against the people of God in awesome strength. We have to stand our ground, and resist him.

5.Who Can Fight In This Battle?

·The answer? 

The crucified ones.

Here I will quote from Jessie Penn-Lewis in part, bringing her words into our own age and scope. 

·Perhaps you have prayed for all sorts of things, with little real power or answers? 

This issue of Beauty for Ashes began with these words of D.L.Moody:

“He [the Holy Spirit] teaches us how to pray, and I don’t think there has ever been a prayer upon this sin-cursed earth that was inspired by the Holy Spirit that was not answered. But there is also much praying that is not inspired by the Holy Spirit.

In years gone by, I was very ambitious to get rich. I used to pray for one hundred thousand dollars, that was my goal. I used to say, “God does not answer my prayer; He is not making me rich.” But I had no warrant for such a prayer, and that is the case with many people; they pray that way; they think that they are praying, but they do not pray according to the Scriptures. The Spirit of God has nothing to do with their prayers, and such prayers are not the product of His teaching.” 

Moody, who died in 1899, was greatly used of the Lord, he won thousands to Christ in his time. He knew what he was talking about.

·Could your prayers have been unanswered in many instancesbecause they were not “according to the Scriptures”? 

·Or could they have beenoffered up with no AUTHORITY over the enemy, because ofcompromise and collaboration with the devil himself (unknown to yourself)?

The churches and “Christian” bookshops have been so HIT by the enemy in present times that many of the techniques and “prayer” instructions that have been absorbed by millions of churchgoers are New Age and occult practices in actuality. How grim this is, how the devil must be gloating! Bible verses are being quoted with wrong interpretations, New Age mind games and demonic FORCE or SOURCE techniques are presented as being “prayer”, BAD spiritual instructions are accepted by millions in churches. We need to bravely throw out ALL that is wrong and occult, without compromise or pride – otherwise we will stop the work of the Holy Spirit in intercession through us. Come before the Lord God and denounce all concepts of “prayer” that may be New Age (in other words they are SATANICALLY inspired). Ask the Lord to reveal anything and everything that may be “off” and to bring you into all truth.

DON’T imagine that you cannot have been confused and deceived about anything, be onthe safe side. I do this, I do not want to cozy up to Satan’s end time delusions in any way. Yield to the Spirit of Truth, and let God search yourdoctrines and beliefs. 

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 

He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” ( John 16:13).

Satan comes as an angel of light, he is becoming more devious and presents his false doctrines and beliefs brilliantly. If you have his doctrines in your spirit, your prayers will be hindered. It isvital that you deal with God in this area.

·Q. How far may we, who know something of the liberating power of the Cross, claim thedeliverance for others?

A. This question opens out a subject of vital importance to the church of God. Some shrink from acknowledging that its is possible for an evil spirit to deceive a true child of God, and yet many have been delivered from the bondage of years through simply recognizing this truth. 

“When the strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace.” (Luke 11:21). 

The ‘armour’ wherein Satan ‘trusteth’ (Luke 11:22) is the FALLEN ADAM:

“But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.”

The only positonwhich will despoil the strong man, and take away the ground he holds, is the standing upon Romans 6:6 as a continual basis, i.e.,

“Our old man was crucified with Him.” 

And this, not merely as a past experience, or recognised fact, but for every moment, by faith.

This is the reason why Satan especially in the aspects of Romans 6 and Colossians 2:15, as a fact to be believed and used; for only the believers who stand in steady faith upon Romans 6:11 can prove Colossians 2:15 on behalf of others. Only then, also, can Luke 10:19 become experimentally true : 

“I have given you authority over ALL the power of the enemy.”

The whole ground and pledge of this is the finished work of Christ on the Cross, where John 12:31 wasfulfilled (see John 16:11); and the only condition for its exercise by the believer is, UNION WITH THE CONQUEROR, as foreshadowed in Luke 10:17.”

As we see above only CHRIST has the authority and power to put downSatan’s works, because he has CONQUERED the devil, his demons and evil angels. Only when we, by faith, live in the recognition that the Cross has “crucified” the old Adam nature in us can we have UNION with the One who has already won over Satan. These words of Penn-Lewis will aid our understanding:

“There are various ways of exercising this authority of Christ over the enemy for others. The believer, standing on the basis of Romans 6:11, reckoning himself in that place where alone he is out of reach of the enemy, may, in the NAME OF CHRIST [i.e.His authority], command the evil spirit to depart (Luke 10:17); or, in private prayer, be claiming the efficacy of the finished work of Christ over the enemy, as he grips that soul. The only way in which any believer can enter into this work experimentally [ i.e. Jessie means here in actual experience, in a real manner, not just a head knowledge] is that given in John 14:26 and John 16:13.” 

(Emphasis and parenthesis added).

Let us take a look at John 14:26 and John 16:13:

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

All right, then God is promising that we can be assured that we will know how to pray in deep intercession, because the Holy Spirit Himself will teach us all things, bring us into a spiritual knowledge of Christ’s teachings, guide us into the things of God in the future, show us God’s will and will speak to our spirit. This does NOT mean that we must pray to the Holy Spirit within ourselves, or listen for an audible voice from within, this will only lead us into possible deception by counterfeiting spirits. It does mean that we will be guided in our spirits into willing and doing God’s good pleasure as we pray:

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” 

( Philippians 2:13).

ÜWHO CAN FIGHT IN THIS BATTLE? 

Only those who put the Cross between themselves and the old Adam nature; who depend utterly upon the Holy Spirit, and who come in the only authority they have – in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ Who has won the battle already on the Cross.

A Clear Affirmation.

a) Prayer should be brought to the Throne of Grace in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. HE will presentyour requests to the Father Himself! “Yes, Lord I will obey you in this. I will ask in Your Name.”

“And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. 

These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.”(John 16:23-27).

b) Prayer must be according to the will of God. His will is infinitely more wise and loving than we understand at this stage. In heaven we will understand. 1 John 5:14-15:

“And he [Jesus] went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt”(.Matthew 26:39). 

“Yes, Lord I want Your will in all that I do, say, ask and aspire to. Above all, in all that I pray.”

c)Prayer is to be by the inward motivation and inspiring of the Spirit of God. It is to be the intercession ofthe Holy Spirit Himself, who dwells within the redeemed person. Romans 8:15, 26,27:

“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”

“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,” (Jude 20).

“Yes Lord, I want to be filled with the Holy Spirit. I will yield to Him to be used in prayer.”

6. Resist The Devil & He Will Flee From You?

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”(James 4:7).

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” 

( 1Peter 5:8,9).

·How do we stand against the terrible works of the devil for other people on the planet; That they may be delivered from his teeth? 

We must submit ourselves to God, and resist the devil on our home ground, in our own lives FIRST. He is our adversary, a dangerous and cruel foe, he will “afflict” all that belong to Christ Jesus across the earth in these days. We must be sober [sensible and serious], vigilant [alert and attentive] – we can and must take the high ground over him, resist the devil in THE FAITH, and he WILL RETREAT with haste. If we can do this for ourselves, we can surely come against his works through the New World Order organizations, for INDIVIDUALS who are trapped and being devoured. No, God will not stop the temporary victory of the One World system, it will gain world domination for abrief season,if it is indeed the Antichrist system coming into power.

·Have you got a heart of compassion?

·Have I? 

·Do we care intensely about what happens to our children and grandchildren, but are rather vague about the rest of the children of the world? 

Yes, we are moved by the plight of the homeless and starving, but there are so many,

·how can “I” do much anyway? 

There is something happening right now in schools everywhere on earth, called GLOBAL EDUCATION, which is vastly more terrible than even hunger and homelessness. GlobalEducation has been designed to teach children in a humanistic way, to immerse them in a Godless mind control while destroying their ability to critically think for themselves. It has been designed for the New World Order, it has the purpose of fitting young lives, millions and millions of them, into a ONE MIND correlation from which they will never escape – IF the programming is not counteracted by the Lord Jesus Christ.

But it is not, believers,children everywhere need your intercession. Cry unto the Lord for their minds and souls! Social “scientists” who are funded, controlled and empowered by the Illuminati are using behaviour modification techniques upon the global children, so cleverly presented that the majority of citizens have no idea what is happening to their young ones. This is being done to make the global masses easily manipulated and kept calm – as the full implementation of the global government occurs.

The reading of the material I have already mentioned on Monarch Slaves has alarmed me, yet again, to the ghastly fact that the totalitarian power barons of the globe, who involve small children in the most shocking, ritualistic, sexual perversion in their private lives, are the samehierarchy that is implementing global education!These people care nothing for the lives of children, as their cruelty and sadism shows.

·PRAY FOR THE CHILDREN OF THIS WORLD. They are in danger unspeakable.

As I write I can imagine some readers who will think: “I don’t want to know this, it is upsetting. I don’t want to know it frightens me!” Well, I guess there are a lot of kids who are going to be a lot more frightened than you are, some who are already deep in are now, andmany more will be in the future. TRUST ING GOD for yourself, you are not called to be a scared rabbit, you are called to be strong in the Lord Jesus Christ. Just move into intense intercession as the Holy Spirit directs you.

·WE NEED PRAYER, that God will open the eyes of parents and that many children will be rescued from this tragic state of affairs. Warnings seem to fall on mostly deaf ears, as many Christians have found when seeking to alert Christian and unsaved parents alike. 

·PRAY for workers who are writing and speaking against this global educational ASSAULT by Satan. 

·Pray that parents’ eyes will be opened and the delusion will fall away from their minds! 

·Pray for teachers who know the Lord, yet reImages in the system and are blinded to the real programs and intents of the occult powers who are bringing these programs against the world’s children. Call on the Lord to open spiritual eyes and hearts.

7.More on What is Going On!

Prayer can change things fordesperate and trapped people! We Christians can deliver others by prayer, as weoppose the forces of darkness which are keeping them in super-natural bondage:

“And they overcame him [the accuser, or the devil] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” ( Revelation 12:11).

•Standing on the ground of “the blood of the Lamb”;

•Testifying to that sacrifice before the enemy hosts;

•Living lives that are yielded up to the death of self and self plans; ready to even die physically for the sake of the Saviour and His Gospel.

There are millions of people across the earth right now being deluded and drawn into the most abhorrent traps of the New Age nightmare. Some are at fringe level, many are moving into hard-core Luciferianism without being fully aware often of what they are caught in; multitudes have been hauled into the blackest of black rituals and devilish sexual perversions. The devil does not play games, go in an inch and one can end up being led “following the yellow brick road” right into phantasm bizarre! The innocent and ignorant can be caught, they may be longing to escape and find God, the followers of Christ Jesus and their prayers are these trapped ones only hope. 

·PRAY that God will raise up His people to pray and witness, to seek out the lost in the massive networks of Lucifer on the planet now. We have a revival of ancient, shameful mysticism, witchery and demonism globally. Hundreds of thousands ofnetworks are uniting to bring about global control. 

·PRAY for the ignorant souls who are embracing hell and know not what they do. 

·PRAY for the children and adults who have had no chance to decide for or against involvement, but have been forced into taking part. 

·PRAY for the mind controlled victims who are slaves to high-level Illuminati.

·PRAY that Almighty God will open the prison doors of the multitudes who are in dire peril right now. Satan has made them captives in many ways, by both physical and spiritual imprisonment. 

·PRAY against his tactics through the television sets in billions of homes. We are aware that subliminals are being used by the elitists who are taking over our world. MONEY and POWER are paramount to these people, not the souls of men, women and children. 

·PRAY against these hidden messages on the T.V. screens, that the Holy Spirit will break their power over minds and hearts. Sounds like a sci-fi film, but this is REALITY folks. We have some info, here, more investigation should be done into this. 

·PRAY that the APATHY that has descended upon the redeemed ones of God will be smashed by the Holy Spirit! I believe this is a supernatural attack from the enemy, we, ourselves, have never encountered before the depths of the “ho-hum” attitude of truly born-again Christians. Mention the plight of the unsaved, seek to get them to pray fervently, and the eyes of many believers glaze over. Speak of the coming totalitarian despotic regime we term The New World Order, and they yawn with boredom and indifference. It is not an “ordinary” response, I believe this is an attack of apathy sent by the enemy of men’s souls! 

·PRAY for the “tolerant” ones in denominations across our land and in other countries. These have allowed teachers, doctrines, amalgamations and techniques into the churches which will destroy lives and counteract the work of the Lord God. Cry to the Lord that He will bring Light in the darkness, open eyes and uncover the brilliant deceptions being foisted upon Christendom. Yes, the majority have walked right into the cage on their own feet, some however are just confused and lack spiritual insight and Biblical knowledge. No amount of debate, warning and discussion seems toaffect these people – then 

·PRAYER to the Lord God is the answer! Cry out to the Almighty todeliver them from the snare of the fowler, most may not want to escape, but GOD can deliver the truly sincere but indoctrinated. He has delivered we ourselves from the powerful delusions of the end times, pray He will deliver MORE:

“Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler…” (Psalm 91:3).

·PRAY against the rise of theNEW RELIGION of PAGAN DANCING RITES!

A recent program on ABC television about GOD as the DJ enlightenedmy mind about the spiritual horrors of these dance sessions. It seems live music with rock bands etc are being replaced with “gigs” where the DJ is becoming the star of the show. Strobe lighting creates a mind altering flashing, pulsating atmosphere. The gigantic gatherings of hundreds or thousands of people packed together “dance” in ecstasy (in more ways then one), as the DJ mixes record music with heavy beat and noise, but with little or no melodies. People come in straight from the work scene and then dance non-stop for perhaps three/five hours straight! The “catharsis” is exactly like the pagan dancing in the dark jungles, or in the pagan dancing to bring demonic possession in Hinduism etc.

The documentary spoke of these matters (no demons of course) in a matter-of-fact way. The program declared that this was a return to pagan dancing rituals, and the new religion of the new millennium – with the DJ as “god”. The DJ is idolized! His face is projected above the dancers on giant video screens. He manipulates the dancers’ mood as the music and lights move on the souls of them, as thousands of bodies writhe and gyrate. This is becoming unbelievably powerful, with popular DJ’s making perhaps a million dollars a month. PRAY for the young people of our land and the world – they are being swept into demon possession and hell on earth, not to mention HELL for eternity!

·PRAY against the evil spirits drawing them in with drugs and music blowing their minds!

·PRAY against the plans of the New World Order to destroy the lives of billions on the earth. 

We still have time, we have not been taken from the earth yet in the Rapture. No, we cannot stop the One World global union, it has been decreed by the Lord, but we can release some of the prisoners. These Illuminati leaders have been uncovered in regard to the September eleven bombing in New York. The whole thing was a planned disaster, the masses had to be traumatized in the PLAN of the shadow world government, people yield and submit after these events. Bush and his cohorts had to be able to kill and destroy in the scam crusade of “defeating terrorism” on the earth! We have much evidence that this is so, be not deceived. There is no mercy in these elitists’ hearts, any more than there was in Hitler’s or Stalin’s. The most horrifying fact that emerges, as we receive and disseminate investigative data, is that these people are SO CRUEL and so EVIL! I cannot share with you all that we learn about this global take-over, it is too horrible.

8. How Do You Prepare YourselfFor This Battle of Love?

·PRAY for yourself and others who are engaged in exposing and fighting against the Satanic Antichrist system – the New World Order!

Resist all temptations to ridicule or downplay what is happening – this is REAL.

Understand that the global masters intend to make us feel totally helpless to do anything. They want us to feel there is no place to hide, no way to rescue anyone, and to yield to a mindset of impotency.

The “UFO” and “ALIEN” concepts can give many citizens of earth a “helpless” mindset. People are being prepared by these beliefs to imagine very powerful extra terrestials are bringing about world government. “They” can never be opposed, many New Agers think, because they have technological and evolutionary superiority over earth people, so the best thing is to just give in. The superior technology of the world government leaders is so advanced by now that they can pull off delusion in this area extremely well. We know that they are planning a FAKE RAPTURE, for an example. This can be done. 

·How would you feel about people who are obviously NOT born-again being “Raptured”? 

Be prepared if this happens in the future. Christians can be led into helplessness and inertia as well, in their own way. “Oh well, the Rapture will be happening soon. Jesus will take His Church away. I can do nothing, but ‘me and mine’ are safe.” Now this is selfish thinking, beloved of God. Sorry to be blunt, but these are very serious times.

·What about the other peopleall around you?

All over the world now the citizens of earth are being prepared for the most horrendous period in this world’s history. God loves them all, he wants your prayers and deep, deep concern. Allow Him to drive you to your knees in intercession. Allow Him to bring the old Adam life to the death, and be filled with the Life of Christ Jesus so that He can pour out the Spirit of God into this darkness. Most of us are not deep enough IN with God and the spiritual realm.

a) The Throne and Life of Christ Jesus.

Many church-goers today are actually using the carnal powers of the soul to seek to come against the powers of the devil. The greatest battle we need to win is firstly the one in our own lives. We need to defeat the enemy by faith in Christ Jesus, and to be filled with His Life through the Holy Spirit. No use a disobedient Christian fighting in his own soul power. Only when we are cleansed of daily sin, filled afresh with the Holy Spirit, and having victory over sin in Christ Jesus can we have power in the spiritual realm . We must have THRONE AUTHORITY in Christ:

“Briefly, prayer warfare simply means holding unceasingly the power of the ‘finished work of Christ’ over the hosts of evil, in their attack upon some place or person, until the victory is won. Just as Moses lifted up his hands stedfastly until the victory was won, so the prayer warrior holds up stedfastly the victory of the Cross – the finished victory of Christ over Satan – until the forces of evil retreat and are vanquished. This needs a true knowledge of Romans 6, and Galatians 2:20 in experience, and many lessons on abiding on the Throne of Christ (Ephesians 2:6), before prolonged conflicts are thus prayed through and won. The truth is, so many believers live in inward conflict over themselves, that they cannot understand Ephesians 6, and in warfare against spiritual hosts of evil in the atmosphere, where – ‘Christ encased’ – the prayer warriors wrestle, and overthrow [Note: NOT pull down altogether!] the principalities and powers attacking the Church of Christ [and the entire world].

‘Prayer warfare’ has to do entirely with direct warfare with the powers of darkness – not with ‘flesh and blood’ (Ephesians 6:12) – therefore it does not admit the exercise of ‘will power’ (or psychic force), for if it is needed in connection with persons, it is not with the individual himself, but with the adversary who is blinding him, or misleading him, that we ‘wrestle’. Let prayer warriors claim the “It is finished” of Calvary upon the unseen hosts of Satan, opposing the proclamation of, or holding souls in bondage and darkness. Christ’s last words of triumph will prevail, as we pray through in union with Him on the Throne.”

All right, then you and I must have a personal, true knowledge of Romans 6 and Galatians 2:20 in our experience to win over Satan in prayer. So, let’s move on into this to see where we stand.

Romans 6 & Galations 2:20.

A REAL battle with a REAL foe can be won by Christians with a REAL “death” to the old Adam life.

Not just a play on words, or a symbol of some sort of dedication, this DEATH to self or the carnal nature is of paramount importance if we are to win battles in intercession for the souls in extreme danger and under attack.

Excerpts from our Bible course on Romans follow:

Law & Grace in The Book of Romans.

Lewis Sperry Chafer puts it like this:

“If the manner of life under grace is superhuman, so, also, the provided enablement is supernatural, and is as limitless as the infinite power of God. Since God has proposed a humanly impossible manner of life, He has, in full consistency, provided the Spirit who gives life. Too much emphasis cannot be placed on the fact that, since God has proposed the impossible rule of life and provided the sufficient Spirit, the believer’s responsibility is thereby changed from being a struggle of the flesh to being a reliance on the Spirit. Grace thus introduces a NEW PROBLEM for the believer’s life, which is wholly foreign to every aspect of the law. It is the problem of the adjustment of the heart to the holy presence of the Spirit, and of Imagestaining the unbroken attitude of dependence on the Spirit. The new principle of achievement consists in getting things accomplished in the believer’s daily life and service by trusting the power of Another, rather than by trusting the energy of the flesh.” (“Grace” by Lewis Sperry Chafer.

The believer has been “transplanted” three times, as shown in God’s Word:

1. To the Garden of Eden where we sinned with Adam (we all are imputed with Adam’s sin); 

2. To the Cross, where we died with Christ (when He died we all died);

3. To the tomb, where we believers rose from the dead in Christ Jesus 

(we share His resurrection). 

Because of These Facts:

Because we were buried with Christ in baptism - identification in His death, and because we have planted together in the likeness of His resurrection, we have been given two wonderful things! 

These are:

1. THE BELIEVER IS “dead to sin” (6:2); &

2. IS “freed from sin” (6:7).

Now, these are tremendous statements, which GOD has given to us in Romans chapter six. We must delve deeply indeed to grasp the full implication for ourselves personally. Christ’s resurrection marked a new life ‘apart from sin.’ The believer also passes through the same experience. It is the only way of sanctification, and the destined goal of justification. God puts us right, and then makes us right and keeps us right. His righteousness is first imputed then imparted to us. 

Paul has, up to this time in chapter six, been showing us the GODWARD side of sanctification by faith-union. 

Now he is showing the MANWARD side of sanctification through faith-union. 

In verse 14 Paul shows us the certainty of progressive righteousness, he exults in the victory: Sin shall not lord it over you. 

Ye are not under law, but under grace.

“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”

Romans 6:11-12:

“Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.”

·What does this mean? 

It simply indicates that we should act by faith about this matter. It doesn’t matter what we feel, we must believe what God has said. We have truly died with Christ to the old creation, and His new Life will give us victory over sin if we trust Jesus Christ to give us His own righteousness. We are dead to the strivings of the law-works way of life, we are now alive to the faith-rest way of life.

Romans 6:13-15:

We must stop yielding (present tense) our bodies members to used as instruments of unrighteousness;

We are to once and for all (aorist tense, do so and keep on going in this) yield our body members as God’s instruments of righteousness.

Romans 6:16-23:

·Here is the nitty gritty, whom will you obey now you are completely saved by Grace? 

You have liberty in Christ Jesus, you are not under bondage to sin or the law, and you do not have to obey the evil precepts of the world system because you cannot help yourself. You are in wonderful liberty as a son of God. You once had a wicked master, Satan, now you are the liberated child of the Lord God. 

a) As a believer you must obey the new Master Who is your own Father in Heaven. Ignore the old master (6:16). We can only serve one master at a time (Matt. 6:24).

b) We have been saved by Grace, now we must walk by Grace alone and receive the fullness of Christ’s life. It is as though we have been poured into a ready prepared mold of salvation, not of our own works but of God’s. Now we live by the precepts of that mold and let God fashion us in it and shape our new life.

·Why are We To Obey?

Here is an interesting concept. Because we have been saved by the life and death of Christ Jesus, we have ALL the merit before God that Christ has. We cannot earn any more, and indeed it is an insult to Christ to think that we could add to HIS merit and righteousness, which we share. We, of ourselves, cannot give any sort of law-works to God to earn His favour; it is impossible for us to do this. If we are to be righteous God must do it all. 

Ü Then why obey? 

BECAUSE we are “freed from sin.” (6:22). Paul must have wanted this fact to sink in because he stated this same truth SIX times in this chapter: 6:2, 6, 7, 14, 18.

Let’s list them in their various forms:

•“dead to sin” verse 2;

•“body of sin might be destroyed” verse 6;

•“freed from sin “ verse 7;

•“sin shall not have dominion over you” verse 14;

•“being made free from sin” verse 18.

We have been freely forgiven and given new life, why would we continue in sin because we can never be lost again? (6:1). 

·Does it mean here in Romans that sin can never again come into our lives? 

No, that would be sinless perfection on this earth. “

APPLYING THIS FOR THE LORD’S PURPOSES.

WHEN WE MOVE in the reality of the above, by faith, we are in a dynamic position in the spiritual realm, and can be used by Christ Jesus to oppose and defeat Satan and his hosts. In the OLD ADAM life we suffer failure, just as we do when we seek in our own strength to become righteous and holy. The NEW LIFE must pray, not the old life that has been, in the past, a fallen prey to the devil. 

THEBLOOD OF CHRIST is not a talisman or a powerful phrase to be used almost superstitiously, as some do. It is the Blood of the Sacrifice, the Lamb of God, Who was provided as a substitute, for our own punishment. 

·In prayer we can only approach the Throne of the Almighty because of that Blood, and it has already gained our victory over the punishment for REBELLION and HIGH TREASON that Satan had drawn the whole human race into. 

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,” (Revelation 1:5).

We defeat Satan because we are the Blood-bought ones, who come against him in the power of ourSaviour, the Lamb of God.

Satan Will Want To Stop You From Entering Into Godly Intercession.

FEAR must be rejected as utterly unworthy of the Christ we serve – He is the GOD, the One Who created all things, in space limitless, on earth all inclusive. You serve Him as a saved believer, He has made wonderful promises to you which can never be broken. Consider the saints of God in the eleventh chapter of Hebrews, they are your pattern, they are like great clouds of witnesses looking on to see how YOU and I will trust God and do mighty deeds of valour. Can you not put aside even an hour a day to 

·PRAY and intercede for lost souls of our world! 11 Timothy 1:7.

·Will this time be two hours in a few weeks? 

·Can YOU intercede for the people who will be filled with terror anddespair soon, even if they have notrealized what is happened yet? 

·Can you intercede for the children who are suffering right now under the New World Order? 

·Can you intercede for the little minds being twisted and corrupted, for the young souls in danger of losing their own free wills?

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:1,2).

The “cloud” of Hebrews 12:1 is the Greek word “nephos” not “nephele” which is a detached and sharply outlined cloud.

NEPHOS means a huge mass of clouds, that actually cover the whole visible sky, the heavens above us. The Greek word for the “witnesses” is NOT angels, it is marturos, whichrefers to one who has seen, has heard and has performed in something. It usually means has suffered as well. That word speaks of an expert! As though the heavens were packed with the suffering saints of other ages cheering us on?

The saints of Hebrews chapter 11.

Elijah felt ALL ALONE, without help at one stage of his life. Here is what happened as recorded in 1 King 19: 10-18:

“And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:

And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

And the LORD said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria:

And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room.

And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay.

Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.”

·Was Elijah Alone?

No, he was not. The Mighty God was the One Whom he served, the most powerful Being in the universe, the Creator Himself. Elijah was not alone, there were many in Israel who had not bowed the knee to Baal, many mouths that had not kissed him. We can feel alone and in despair; we may think all of the churches and even sound, true believers seem to have fallen into the deceptions of the New Age. But we are NOT alone, even as Elijah was not. There are still Christians around us who have not surrendered in any way to the New Age New World Order, and we serve the Mighty Creator and His Son Jesus Christ. We are being cheered on by the massed cloud of witnesses, and the angels. Take heart, little flock. 

God wants us to walk 

by FAITH in Him:

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6).

Hindrances To Prayer.

Satan wants to hinder our prayers, his ploys and temptations to stop our prayers have been revealed in the Scriptures. Please read the verses and make sure that all is right between you and the Lord. 

THESE SHOULD BE UTTERLY AVOIDED! 

·Do not say to yourself....?

“but I would never do any of those” and then forget it. Get REAL, don’t play games, get rid of all the things that are wrong in confession and repentance. If you don’t God will not answer your intercession. 

HE HAS SAID SO! He means it.

Warnings from God’s Word:

1. WAVERING (“doubting”). We can never expect an answer from God if we will not even hold on in our asking, or believe for more than a period that the Lord will answer. Our prayers might pour out today, and then tomorrow we can have forgotten even what we prayed about! Is this like you? Or do we have faith for a few hours and then give up trusting God’s promises. Get serious people, no wavering. To be like that is to be like the waves of the sea driven by the wind.

James 1:6,7:

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.”

2. Asking amiss, to just “consume it upon our lusts.” To pray in order to get pleasures, money and self-glory etc. James 4:3:

“Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”

3. Regarding iniquity in your heart will hinder prayer. This is to harbour envy, jealousy, covetousness or ill-will etc.

God will NOT answer the prayer of such a one. Psalm 66:18:

“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:”

4. Refusing to forgive or, on the other hand, to be forgiven will obstruct ourprayers. There are many warnings about this, see Matthew 5:23, 24; 6:12, 14,15; Mark 11: 25,25.

5. Actually living in sin! This can of course mean all sorts of disobedient behaviour. Isaiah 59:1-3; John 9:31:

“Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.”

Ü What does this mean?

Ü Aren’t we all sinners saved by Grace, and only come any way in the Name of Jesus Christ Who alone is perfect? 

Yes, that is true, but God e xpects the saved to walk the talk, and to live in obedience by His enabling. One of the results of careless selfish living isunanswered prayer. A big price to pay!

6.Discord or strife in the home life of believers can hinder our prayers. God will withhold answers. He has said this in 1 Peter 3:7:

“Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.”

7. Hypocrisy can make our prayers get no further than the ceiling! 

·Do you talk devotion and dedication but live in a different way? 

Job 27:8,9; Matthew 6:5:

“And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.”

8. Pride can cause our prayers to be stopped at the ceiling. Deal seriously with your conceits and “showing off” – if this is still in your life! Job 35:12,13:

“There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men. Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.”

9. Idols in the heart are not pleasing to the Lord. These can be people, even denominations, church leaders or preachers – ANYTHING which is seen as greater in your eyes than God. You can know if you have an idol, what do you think about all the time, is something or someone more important to you than God is?Don’t make a “god” of anything or anyone, do not seek any other “gods” of other religions. Or compromise with them! Do not join with those who worship idols of “Mary” and the child! 

Jeremiah 11:10:

“They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: …” 

10. If we offer unworthy service to God this can impede our prayers.Unworthy service can be that which is offered for selfish reasons, for making profit, to honour yourself, to try to impress others – in other words any service that is not undertaken to honour GOD! Malachi 1:6-10:

“A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?”

11. Of course the ultimate STOP to answered prayer is forsaking God, and wandering in the wilderness back in the desert of the world. True, this is an Old Testament warning, but we cannot drift away from the Lord and expect Him to answer our prayers! We must honour and obey Him, and walk with our God as Lord:

“Thus saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.

Then said the LORD unto me, Pray not for this people for their good.

When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: …” (Jeremiah 14:10-12).

SUM-UP

·Where have we come to in all this?

We have seen just a small account of the vast and complex workings ofSatan in the Endtimes. We have surely become aware that what has been related is TRUTH, not some horrid dream. I pray that some have awakened from their slumbering, and have dedicated themselves to fervent and sacrificial intercession. The might of the New World Order cannot be anything else but the Antichrist system, it is far beyond anything Hitler thought up! It is coming in by peaceful means(1 Thess.5:3). PEOPLE matter to God, the men, women and children already caught in Satan’s clutches. We can make a mighty difference to the devil’s success in dragging the blindedmasses to earthly hell and eternal hell.I pray that you and I will. That many will bring their LOVE and COMPASSION into the terrible scenario we are encountering – that they will devote themselves to prayer. 

“Lord, send Your Spirit to unlock the chains of Satan, and set free the LOST SOULS in his power.”

·Do you need to be a spiritual giant in order to have answered prayer?

·Do you need to be a spiritual giant to be able to pray with power?

No, you need a child-like attitude of trust that rests in the Heavenly Father in FAITH. 

·Prayer should be offered in simple faith, like the CONFIDENCE a little helpless child has in its beloved and loving father. 

These verses tell us that: 

1 John 5:14-15; Hebrews 11:6:

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 

And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” 

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”AMEN.

GUIDANCE by George Muller

Have you wondered how to getguidance for your life from God? 

How can you know His will in some matter? This simple message has meant a lot to me over the years. George Muller was a man of faith who trusted God implicitly, and he had thrilling answers to his prayers. 

He wrote:

1.I seek at the beginning to get my heart into such a state that it has no will of its own in regard to a given matter. When one is truly in this state it is usually but a little way to the knowledge of His will.

2.Having done this, I do not leave the result to feeling or simpleimpression. If I do so, I make myself liable to great delusion.

3.I see the will of the Spirit of God through, or in connection with, the Word of God. The Spirit and the Word must be combined. If I look to the Spirit alone without the Word, I lay myself open to great delusion also. The Holy Spirit guides according to the Scriptures, never contrary to them.

4.Take into account providential circumstances. These often plainly indicate God’s will in connection with His Word and Spirit.

5.I ask God in prayer to reveal His will to me aright.

6.Thus, through prayer to God, the study of the Word, and reflection I come to a deliberate judgment according to the best of my ability and knowledge; and if my mind is thus at peace, and continues so after two or three more petitions, I proceed accordingly. In trivial matters, and in transactions involving most important issues, I have found this method always effective. Romans 12:1,2.
