TONY CAMPOLO – THE SPIN-DOCTOR!

The big-name lecturer from the USA, Tony Campolo, spoke in Brisbane this October 2002. He was the lead speaker of the Queensland AOG State Conference. Why this man might be my first comment? Campolo is known all over the world as the Baptist minister who is radical, a political activist, a worker with the U.N., a man who is active for “Gay” rights, a dedicated “environmentalist” who campaigns for the same issues as the New Age Greenies, a man who is decidedly “pink” politically. Why would the AOG administration want to invite Campolo to be their conference speaker? Perhaps we can just surmise that they want to be involved with global happenings and ecumenical movements that are vastly popular with other denominations. Campolo brings the JUBILEE movement that is so big in the Catholic Church. He speaks of Christendom moving in to change the world dramatically. He speaks on tape 10 at the conference “Grow” (4746) of:
“The existing political economic order [global]” needing to be over-thrown.
He speaks of the USA and Australia as the “rich” that should be pulled down by God on tape 10 (3815).

Are we seeing in these speeches (I cannot call them sermons) a merger of the “Kingdom Now” aspirations of the Pentecostal churches, and Globalism of the internationals? Yes, it would appear to be the case. Tony Campolo works with WORLD VISION, which espouses the whole agenda of the N.W.O United Nations. The magazine from World Vision in Australia, “GRID”, is always filled with U.N. propaganda. If you do not know yet what the U.N. really is, then please become informed. A good book to begin with is “The Demonic Roots of Globalism” by Gary Kah. Pub. Hunting House. The U.N. is a Luciferian organization, a world-conquering initiative that has brought in anti-Christian paganism and tyranny across the earth. It is an organization that is a tool for the globalists– those who have formed a One World Government by hidden endeavours.

Campolo, as a neo-communist, a global sociologist, is a great orator!
He is so competent that one is stunned with his power of speech, his handling of the crowds he addresses, and his ability to sway people by the use of emotion, fear, guilt and enthusiasm. Often bringing unbiblical rhetoric, and interpretations, which are far from the Bible’s actual meaning, he makes such a display, that many cannot resist. They are swept into the flow of Campolo’s personality, and down the drain they vanish! He is so good at his public addresses that he should get an academy award! To the Pentecostals he is more Pentecostal than they are, to the Baptists he is a staunch Baptist, and to the unchurched he is a “good guy” who can swear with the best of them. Campolo is a university lecturer. He is worldly enough with the church people, what would he be like with uni students! We have his three tapes from the “Grow” conference, Tony uses the “sh…” word five times on one, the “cr…” word on another.

I will comment on two tapes only herein, he repeats himself somewhat. These are enough to gain understanding of the Images agenda of Campolo.  He said on tape ten that the man who had “impacted” his entire life more profoundly than anyone else was KIERKEGAARD, the Danish philosopher and theologian. Kierkegaard’s teaching is neo-orthodox, the NEW orthodoxy. His views have been adopted by some professing Christians today Imagesly through the Charismatic movement. The neo-evangelicals that may favour Kierkegaard have an entirely different approach to SEPARATION than fundamental Biblical Christians have. An outline here might be of help:
Position of Neo-evangelicals on modernism and all other errant philosophies and doctrines:
1) Willingness to reImages within old-line denominations, even those that are clearly apostate, under the guise of favorably influencing them with the Gospel.
The neo-evangelical hopes to emphasize points of agreement with the liberal and the neo-orthodox rather than points of disagreement, in order to “recapture” denominations. (Pickering, p.136; Lightner, p,57).
2) Imagestains broad ecumenical fellowship, even to the extent of being involved in the apostate National and World Council of Churches; evangelicals are even urged “to obtain all or part of their training at liberal universities and seminaries “in order to “give evangelism more clout.” The conservative is called upon to welcome the neo-orthodox as friends and brethren since “truth is welcomed wherever it is preached.” This ecumenism generally involved the elevation of “love” above doctrine. (Pickering, pp.136-137; Whitcomb, p.1; Lightner, p.56).

KIERKEGAARD was a neo-orthodox theologian. In the following quote from the book “Experiencing God” by Henry Blackaby and Claude V. King we can glimpse the extent of the deviance we can expect from men like Campolo:
“…other things, such as a sermon, or a newspaper, or a novel, etc. can also become the Word of God when God speaks to us through it.
In other words, one of neo-orthodoxy’s “contributions” to evangelical Christianity is the view that revelation to man from God takes many forms. The Bible is no longer the sole authoritative voice of God in this age, it is just one of them. God not only can, but we should expect Him to speak to us in visions, dreams, circumstances, feelings, poems, novels, music, etc.”

THE BIBLE TELLS US, however:

”ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (11 Timothy 3:16).

Kierkegaard brought confusion with his writing! He was an existentialist. Dave Breese, in his book “Seven Men Who Rule the World from the Grave” (Pub. Moody Press) writes on Kierkegaard:
“Existentialism produced the raging, resentful youth culture of the 1960s. It gave us boys who looked like girls, girls who looked like boys, and transvestites who looked like both. It gave us raving homosexuals who declared their activities existentially “OK” and launched upon society a salvo of infection that continues to explode. Thousands of these gaunt specters of humanity received graduate degrees and are now the intellectual elite of our time. The flower children of the 1960s wrote the music and the hired the rock bands who preceeded to set their contradictory ideas to discordant music. Along came free love, free sex, narcotics galore, the orgy, the séance, the suicide solution, and a thousand other insults to the image of God and the life of man.” (p.p.217-218).

Kaufmann said of Kierkegaard:
“He was a man in revolt, and even if one quite agrees that a revolt was called for, one may yet regret that he went much too far and that his followers have not seen fit to redress his excesses. Instead of offering a circumspect critique of reason, indicating what it can and cannot do, he tried a grand assault…Kierkegaard rashly denounced clear and distinct thinking altogether.” (Cited in “Seven Men Who Rule the World from the Grave” by Dave Breese. P. 215).

And Tony Campolo says that Kierkegaard influenced his life more than anyone else!

TAPE NINE OF THE SERIES FROM “GROW” CONFERENCE IN BRISBANE:
Campolo uses the Jewish Jubilee instructions from the Lord God to bring a counterfeit “Jubilee” to the attention of the churches. He uses the Leviticus teachings about Jubilee, instructions for ISRAEL not the Church or the ungodly nations, to declare that Jubilee is NOW. This is common to Jubilee teaching; it is an actual high-jacking of the O.T. Bible teaching. We are not Jews, the global movements joined with the ecumenical movement; the Vatican and the U.N. cannot just declare that we are in “Jubilee” to make their initiatives sound spiritual and legitimate. Campolo speaks of this spurious “Jubilee” as though it were the actual Bible Jubilee. Let us look at the BIBLICAL Jubilee for ISRAEL. From Easton’s Bible Dictionary:
“Jubilee, a joyful shout or clangor of trumpets, the name of the great semi-centennial festival of the Hebrews. It lasted for a year. During this year the land was to be fallow, and the Israelites were only permitted to gather the spontaneous produce of the fields (Lev. 25:11, 12). All landed property during that year reverted to its original owner (13-34; 27:16-24), and all who were slaves were set free (25:39-54), and all debts were remitted.
 The return of the Jubilee year was proclaimed by a blast of trumpets that sounded
throughout the land. There is no record in Scripture of the actual observance of this festival, but there are numerous allusions (Is. 5:7, 8, 9, 10; 61:1, 2; Ezek. 7:12, 13; Neh. 5:1-19; 2 Chr. 36:21), which place it beyond a doubt that it was observed.

The advantages of this institution were manifold. "1. It would prevent the accumulation of land on the part of a few to the detriment of the community at large. 2. It would render it impossible for any one to be born to absolute poverty, since every one had his hereditary land. 3. It would preclude those inequalities which are produced by extremes of riches and poverty, and which make one man domineer over another. 4. It would utterly do away with slavery. 5. It would afford a fresh opportunity to those who were reduced by adverse circumstances to begin again their career of industry in the patrimony that they had temporarily forfeited. 6. It would periodically rectify the disorders which crept into the state in the course of time, preclude the division of the people into nobles and plebeians, and preserve the theocracy inviolate." (End of quote).

CONSIDER, can the Vatican, the World Council of Churches, the United Nations, the Global power groups just decide that we are now in “Jubilee” and must join together to do all the above things that GOD commanded ISRAEL to do in the Old Testament days? Of course not! Why would they become legitimate before God by keeping this “Jubilee”? WHO has declared that we must keep this fake “Jubilee”? Certainly not God. Can the reader see that a GLOBAL Jubilee under ungodly, apostate and occultic forces, drawing in the gullible Christians as they go, can use the instructions above to bring about repressive NEO-COMMUNISM? To bring about a false “theocracy” or “Kingdom of God”?  Compare the points above:
1. The take over of lands by the New World Order is legitimized;
2. The indigenous peoples of the world get back “their” land holdings, thus breaking down the white, educated and powerful structures of Western society;
3. The UNGODLY world can bring in a form of fascism merged with communism that will take away free enterprise and all would belong to the STATE (Global state);
4. It depends on who you call “slaves.” “Slaves” can be any Third World country that is not as rich as the Western countries. We of the Western world will then be denounced as being “slave masters”?

5. The whole structure of the world system as we know it will be tossed away, and a    NEW ECONOMIC ORDER will be ushered in. Under the guise of “helping” the poor and needy.
6. Socialism gets a firm hold again! The throwing down of the leaders of nations, and NEW ORDER brought in, one, which has only the global masters as the rulers.
         And they are using “JUBILEE” as one of the tools of conquest.

Do these globalists have the right to declare a Jubilee as though GOD has instigated it! NO! They have no authority to do so.
What is the REAL “JUBILEE” under Jesus Christ, and when does it happen?
The Jubilee given to Israel is a TYPE of the coming FUTURE KINGDOM under Christ Jesus. He will do all the things pictured in the SABBATICAL Jubilee – when? In the Millennial Reign of Christ. Yes, He has already declared His ministry as in Isaiah 61:1 compare Luke 4:18, but the completed fulfillment of the TYPE of the Jubilee will be in the Millennial Reign. Christians are NOT under the whole cycle of the Sabbaths of the O.T., any way. As we see in this verse (and others):
“Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.”
(Colossians 2:16,17).
Christians don’t keep the Sabbatical Jubilee, and it is certain the United Nations and related organizations can’t declare such a Jubilee under God.

Campolo is in agreement with the Jesuit social-activist doctrines of LIBERATION THEOLOGY. He tells us so in his book “How to Rescue the Earth”:
“Whether Imagesline Christians, fundamentalists, evangelicals, and charismatics like it or not, LIBERATION THEOLOGY has become very much a part of theological studies these days. Christians everywhere, even when they bitterly oppose the use of violence advocated by some liberation theologians or abhor the Marxist-Leninist implications in much of what they hear, still agree with the basic theme of liberation theology….liberation theologies are beginning to be applied to environmental concerns and the animal rights movement…” (p.61, emphasis added).

What is liberal theology? It is basically the erroneous belief that Christ died to set societies free NOW through insurrection, and that Marxist-style action must free societies. It misapplies the Biblical truth that “Christ shall set us free” to societies. When a Bible-believing Christian says “Christ shall set us free” he means that He can set free the souls of men and save them spiritually. When the Marxist-Jesuit says that he means Christ will liberate societies – they use “Christ shall set us free” in liberation to mean communist over-throwing of governments.

God, in the Bible, presents a property-owning society, Campolo continually presents in his speeches and books the leveling out of society, the grey world of the Marxist-Leninist view where everyone is “equal” and there is no levels of society at all.

He has a world-change vision, not a Biblical vision. If he had his way (and God forbid that this happens) we would all stop being Christians who work to spread the true Gospel and give spiritual instruction to converts, and we would become radical sociologists working with the United Nations to bring extremist action for the oppressed!

CAMPOLO IS A WOLF UNDER A SHEEP’S FLEECE!
The Fabians use a image of a wolf under a sheep’s fleece to denote their under cover work! Campolo could do the same. He tells his audience to “not let the New Agers high-jack the environmental movements.” But he doesn’t tell the churchgoer that the whole environmental movement is a massive movement of the U.N. to gain control of the planet. You do not believe this? Then become informed. The book “Saviors of the Earth?” by Michael S. Coffman, Northfield Publishing, Chicago, would be a good place to start your study.  What a way to get Christians moving with New Age movements! Tell them not to let the New Agers “high-jack” these movements. He knows that most Christians are aware that the “Greenies” are watermelons. Green on the outside, and red on the inside – New Age red! So, Campolo anticipates the criticism and tells the Christians to not let them “high-jack” the movements. No, we should NOT be involved at all. Jesus Christ will “save the planet” when He sets up His millennial reign. The Church has a job to do, to evangelize and win souls before it is all too late.

Campolo even takes the line of the New Agers in their veneration of the whales – under the cover of twisted scripture again. He tells his audience that the whales sing praises to God! They are special creatures designed that way by the Lord. He uses the “Leviathan” mention in God’s Word to do this. No, the Bible does not say that the whale actually worships God as though it was a man! It is a mere animal. Any way the word “Leviathan” means “twisted” or coiled.” It is far more likely to be a great water dragon than a whale, or even a large crocodile.
LEVIATHAN : a transliterated Hebrew word (livyathan), meaning "twisted," "coiled”.
Isaiah 27:1 calls the leviathan a “piercing serpent.”
Who believes that the whale is a special creature with almost divine capabilities? The New Age environmentalists do!

Campolo presents the NEW WORLD ORDER Jubilee as though it was the answer for the poor, the prostitutes, the homosexuals, the subjugated women, the downtrodden and the oppressed. He promotes the World Vision groups as though they were the answer to the world’s needs, but CHRIST is the answer, and the GOSPEL is what they need. The Christian churches cannot meet the needs of billions of hungry and starving people on the earth. Giving to the “poor” should not be translated into “giving to World Vision.” Campolo wants Christians to equate giving to such global movements as being paramount to giving TO CHRIST JESUS:
The Poor are World Vision, give to World Vision and you are giving to JESUS.

What is this “debts cancelled” business that Campolo is stressing about “Jubilee”?
It is an initiative that the globalists have instigated to give the utmost control of poor countries. The internationalists, multi-billionaires, lend money to these countries knowing they can never repay, and then they “cancel” the debt and have total control through economics. The countries are in their grip – it is about conquest. Jubilee is big in the Roman Catholic Church; the Jesuits have a great influence because of their power in World Vision quarters.

CAMPOLO AND THE HAITI EXAMPLE.
On tape nine Campolo spins a heart wrenching story about three child prostitutes he encountered in the streets. They offered themselves to him for $10 a night. He invites the three of them to his room, and fills them full of ice cream sundaes and Disney videos! Then he lets them sleep it off on his bed. (Where was the chaperone? Where was the translator?) He said he allowed them to be children again for just one night. It was a story to fill one’s heart with sympathy and compassion. Give to these poor children, send funds through World Vision. But, why did he not WIN THEM FOR CHRIST? He said he could not speak the language, but he has workers in the field in Haiti. Why not get in an interpreter? Can you imagine a believer who is close to the Lord not doing this? Those girls needed CHRIST as Saviour more than anything else in the universe. Disney films are filled with the occult. In the book “Disney and the Bible” by Perucci Ferraiuolo, Pub. Horizon Books Pennsylvania, the author writes on page147-148:
“New Age thought, homosexuality, Buddhism, black magic, occultism, Greek mythology, Satanism – it appears that Disney is the antithesis of everything Christians believe and hold dear.” On page 146,”Disney continues to host the annual ‘Gay and Lesbian day’ at Walt Disney World, complete with liquor and festivities, including a transvestite dance. An ad in OUT magazine urges gay goers to ‘pick up your Digital Queers Hospitality pack.”

THE HOMOSEXUALS.
No wonder Campolo is interested in Disney films. He has a GAY RIGHTS agenda. On tape 10 he speaks quite unashamedly of “wanting to end the ugly homophobia in the churches” and seek “justice” for the homosexuals! He accuses Christians of hating the homosexuals. We do not hate the person we loathe the SIN that is enslaving people under Satan. Homosexuality is a culture of DEATH, not only from AIDS but from the fact that such sexuality cannot reproduce. Campolo thinks that homosexuals are born that way and it is not sin. He gives an emotion ridden story on tape 10 about a homosexual boy at his boyhood school who hung himself. “I should have been his friend and defended him” Campolo weeps. No, he should have led him to Christ Jesus and into liberty in Him from sin.

Campolo says this on tape 10:
“How dare Christians call homosexuality an abomination in the sight of God!”
He says how awful it is to call homosexuals SODOMITES! Is God Himself awful for saying this as well, Tony? The Christians LOVE all people, but do not love the SIN. Is it wrong then to call a killer a murderer, or the thief a robber, or the cheating husband an adulterer? Do we show we do not “love” them when we call a spade a spade? Here is what the Bible says on Sodom:
“But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.”
(Genesis 13:13).  Amongst other sins, they were homosexuals. Tony believes that homosexuals are born that way, and it is not sin.

Campolo has been severely criticized and censored for his stand on homosexuals. He holds the unbiblical view that:
1) Homosexuality is INBORN, and inherited, because all nature is fallen.
2) Counselling homosexuals is useless because of its cause (heredity).
3) He has been accused by Christians of espousing an unbiblical, fruitless damaging distortion by his “homosexuality is biologically based” viewpoints. Campolo advocates “homosexual covenants” where Christian homosexuals make life-long vows to each other, to live with each other in “celibacy.”

CHRISTIAN THINGS DERIDED.
There is a sort of under-handed derogatory manner that Campolo has when speaking of Christian doctrines, beliefs, traditions etc. It is as though he cannot help himself, it just comes out! Yes, he is speaking to Christians and is a “Baptist minister” but he has another allegiance? For an example he says we need to change the world we live in now, not concentrate on “pie in the sky when you die by-and-by stuff!” As though stressing evangelism is missing the boat? He mentions the Gospel, but notice he does not preach it! Not one mention of the Gospel verses, explaining salvation etc, in his “sermons.” (Not that I have heard at any rate).  He says on tape 9 that the miracle of the feeding of the 5,000 by Jesus was not much of a miracle! After all they had to go home and were not fed there by Jesus. But, they were not starving people either, Campolo, they had food and dwellings back home. There are many other examples of this denigrating of Christian things.

THE RADICAL JESUS.
Campolo says on tape 10 that someone criticized him by saying, “you make Christianity sound like some sort of revolutionary movement.” No, “someone” does not say that, many Bible believers do! He has a job to do, Christian, it is to merge the United Nation’s agenda for the world with the Christian message, to turn our God-given mission into the global vision message of radical CHANGE and GLOBAL UNION under the neo-socialistic internationalists. Our mission in the churches is the GREAT COMMISSION, not social activism through the United Nations’ organizations and N.G.Os. Campolo is a SPIN-DOCTOR with a smart mouth! Yes, he does say we should spread the Gospel, but as a sort of sideline? Using the funds of the churches mostly to pour money into the spurious efforts of the New World Order’s Jubilee and World Vision??? Go down that road and all will be changed all right. All sorts of ungodly, worldly and politically motivated organizations work with the groups Campolo pushes! Once the churches are surging into a new and radical “Jesus” movement of social action under the U.N. they will never recover their stand for separation from the world, and the Great Commission to rescue the sinner out of the world and into the “ecclesia” the company of the called-out ones – the saved Body of Christ. The church to which the attributes, prerogatives, and promises appertaining to Christ's kingdom in Heaven belong, is a spiritual body consisting of all true believers, i.e., the church invisible.

Campolo speaks of those churches that have already moved into SOCIAL JUSTICE, and brings as an example the Uniting Church in Australia. Interesting, that denomination has already moved into the United Nations’ agenda with force, under the influence of Dr. Keith Suter who is a member of the CLUB of ROME, a New World Order organization. He and Gordon Moyes move as one on international social action.

Christianity that is authentic and Biblical can never fit into the plans of the world. The world is under Satan’s sway at this stage (see 11 Corinthians 4:4). A worldly “Christianity” that works with and for the ungodly fallen world per se is a DENIAL of Christianity. We cannot dare to change our commission from the Lord, nor can we adapt to the plans of man on earth. It is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic! Christ alone will give this world an environment suitable for life to be sustained and paradise to be restored. When He comes to set up His thousand year reign.

THE PEOPLE CAMPOLO COMMENDS.
It is informative to look into the people Campolo mentions or honours in his messages. Birds of a feather do flock together; we do cite those who we agree with. He drops the names of Mother Teresa, Augustine, Kierkegaard and Bill Hybels amongst others. We have already mentioned Kierkegaard, what about the others?
MOTHER TERESA: she was a devoted woman in many ways, but she was a Roman Catholic nun who did not accept the Gospel of Grace herself. She is still one of the darlings of the New Age movement across the planet. She worked with the internationalists and saw union with all religions to have “peace” on earth as being imperative. She might have tried to feed the poor material food, but she knew nothing of giving them spiritual food.
AUGUSTINE: another Roman Catholic. In Dave Hunt’s book “What Love is This?” we read of him:
“Of Augustine it has been well said that ‘the very greatness of his name has been the means of perpetuating the grossest errors he himself propagated. More than anyone else, Augustine has encouraged the pernicious doctrine of salvation through the sacraments of an organized earthly church, which brought with it priest craft and all the evil and miseries that has entailed down through the centuries.” (John W.Kennedy, The Torch of the Testimony (Christian Books Publishing House, 1963.68).
BILL HYBELS: a man who has spearheaded the “marketing of Christianity” style ministries. Recognized and applauded even in Catholic churches, Hybels has made “merchandise” of congregations, seeing them as a means to an end – namely the amassing of large congregations for the power and money they bring. He uses DIALECTIC to water-down the Biblical messages, to make them more socially acceptable etc. Instead of preaching an unadulterated Gospel, he sees the “needs” and tries to base his ministries on those “needs”. ST FRANCIS: yet another Roman Catholic. St Francis of Assisi has been adopted by the New Age environmental movement as the patron saint of Mother Earth. In Assisi itself, 1986, the Day of Prayer for Peace, Italy, the world religious leaders met to venerate the earth and its animals. There were mantra-mumbling Buddhists, Hindu worshippers of Shiva, Indians invoking the Spirit of the sky, Bahais, Jainists, Moslems who worship Allah, the fire-worshipping Zoroastrians, witch doctors, Africans calling on the Great Thumb, tribal animists – and chants, temple bells and pagan spells all merged together! Pope John Paul 11 organized the event!

DAVE HUNT’S COMMENTS:
In the CBI Bulletin of Dave Hunt’s, 12/89, these facts came to light:
“Tony Campolo’s Liberal Drivel.
Popular author and speaker Tony Campolo in his book, PARTLY RIGHT, says, “We affirm our DIVINITY by doing what is worthy of gods, and we affirm our humanity by taking risks only available to mortals. God has to become one of us before He could be heroic…(Robert) Schuller affirms our divinity, yet does not deny our humanity…isn’t that what the gospel is? Isn’t God’s message to sinful humanity that He sees in each of us a DIVINE NATURE of such worth that He sacrificed His own Son so that our divine potentialities might be realized?…”

Campolo quotes popular anti-Christian psychoanalyst Erich Fromm concerning consequences that can come about when a person “loses sight of his/her divinity.” Campolo was listed in the 12/88 Watchword as a speaker at Boston’s Tremont Temple with WORLD COUNCIL of CHURCHES head Emilio Castro and Harvard radical universalist Harvey Cox. Yet evangelical groups such as IVCF and YFC, and Bible Broadcasting Network feature him.” (End of quote).

Things have not changed with Campolo in 2002, be not deceived. The Bible does NOT say that humans have DIVINITY [Gods] as their natures! We saved believers may have new natures through the Holy Spirit’s indwelling but even we NEVER share God’s Divinity. None can share His glory, we are merely created anew and we reflect His glory. To say that humans are DIVINE in nature is blasphemy. Sounds just like the New Age and the Satan in the Garden of Eden:
“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall BE AS GODS, knowing good and evil.” ( Genesis 3:5).

BRISBANE “GROW” CONFERENCE AGAIN.
Campolo talked at length on the Iraqi situation in 2002. He gave an emotional plea for the USA and Australia to FEED the Iraqi “enemies”! Using, amazingly, the Lord Jesus’ words on this: “love your enemies.” How could anyone present such a seemingly naïve statement? Jesus Christ was not talking about going to a country at war and expecting FOOD to make all the problems between opposing countries just disappear. To give FOOD will make all religious differences, all territorial differences and all hatred of the West and Israel just “go away”??? Rather like the solution for the three child prostitutes in Haiti – give ‘em  icecream sundaes with strawberry sauce and nuts! Any way, the USA, when they invaded Afghanistan, gave food out to the people – would just food have brought peace???

Jesus Christ certainly wants us to feed and help people in our ordinary lives who see themselves as our enemies; He wants us to be fair, not cruel, to prisoners of war. BUT, He does not tell us to march into some hostile country and give out FOOD! I am sure Hitler wouldn’t have responded to such a tactic, and neither would Saddam Hussein or the Arab world. Ridiculous, Campolo. The Moslems want the whole world to worship Allah, they want to the Arab world to control entirely the Middle East and the rest of the earth, and they want Israelis out of the Holy Land. Perhaps a box of groceries will cure that?

Campolo complained that thousands of children are dying of hunger in Iraq, and we in the rich countries are to blame. No, the Iraqis have accepted a false “god”, a spirit calling itself “Allah”, who is bringing them devilish lies – that is why children are dying of hunger and are suffering.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENT.
Tony Campolo is quick to say, “don’t let the New Agers high-jack the environmental movement.” But, he doesn’t tell his listeners that he is A PART of the New Age, and its environmental movement. Yes, he says he is against the New Age and has nothing to do with it, but he “fabricates”! Read his own books and realize the truth. Here are just a few reasons why he IS a New Ager:

*Campolo speaks of his delight in the NEW AGE headquarter church, St John the Divine, New York, in his book, “How to Rescue the Earth” p. 140:
“I was pleasantly surprised during a visit to New York city when I happened upon a special day of blessing for animals at the great Cathedral of St John the Divine.”
*He commends many of the New Age teachers, patron saints and writers of the New Age. St Francis of Assisi, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, Pat Robertson, E.F.S. Schumacher, Ron Sider, Erich Fromm, Cleveland Armory and Alex. Pacheo.
· Campolo endorses New Age many New Age New World Order organizations. Such as:
· Green Peace, Sierra Club, St John the Divine, The Audobon Society and World Vision (yes, World Vision is right in there with the New Age), and the World Council of Churches.
Let me just outline briefly what I mean by “New Age.” The New Age is not just a group of hippy-type people who have crystal shops, eat vegetarian meals and worship the Goddess, planet earth. The New Age today is a global movement of enormous proportions. Made up of hundreds of thousands of networks, controlling the United Nations and the international political organizations. It is the NEW AGE New World Order we are encountering right now, already in power globally. THE ENVIROMENTAL MOVEMENT AND CAMPOLO.
People think, “well, anyway, Campolo says we must preach the Gospel, let’s give him that much credit.” But, what “Gospel” does he, himself, preach? From the “Global Change Agent No.2” booklet:
“Sin and the Sacrifice of Christ – are strangely also a part of the Campolo writings.
Yes, Christ did die for sinners [in Campolo’s writing] but He gave Himself for the Cosmos, the “Christosphere” as well. John 3:16 is used on page 13 of “How to Rescue the Earth” [by Tony Campolo], to spur us all on in our zeal to become “green Christians” and to work to rescue the earth for Christ.” Campolo believes that the COSMOS is saved right now by the death of Christ, and so Christ is “incarnate” in it. He writes “…the Greek word cosmos ‘World’ refers to anything and everything that is in the universe, including the animals, flowers, insects and fish…..It also includes the land and oceans and the air we breathe.”

What is a “Christosphere”? The “higher stage” of all nature (page 85). A coming of “the Christ”, a pantheistic impersonal source of force in nature evolving into the New Earth – the Goddess arising.

As New Age leader, David Spangler wrote in “Reimagination of the World”:
“For me, another definition of the New Age is that it is a spiritual phenomenon. As such, it has three aspects: it represents a fundamental formative force, an essential component of life; it represents an inner condition or state of mind; and it represents a particular spiritual and initiatic impulse inherent in the incarnational process of earth.”(page 27).

Campolo follows the general pattern of “Christian” panentheists today. This is a different version of “pantheism.”A pantheist believes that the creation itself is “god”, we are “god” and there is no Person of God in Heaven or anywhere else. A panentheist tries to fit this notion into Christian belief by keeping God the Person, but making creation and mankind “god” as well. Campolo not only believe that creation itself is “god”, and that mankind is “god”, he believes that
Christ gave Himself for the Cosmos, which is a living entity, when He died on the Cross. This means, to him, that the earth is already filled with the “Christ” a Christosophere. Yes, Christ Jesus will “save the earth” one day, when He comes back to rule for a thousand years (Revelation 20:4 etc), but the earth is NOT NOW GOD, nor is it filled with the salvation of Christ, and He is not “incarnate” in nature. This is NEW AGE doctrine. The whole earth one day will be changed by God, as we see in Romans 8:18-23. But, this transformation will not precede the transformation of the saved believers of Christ Jesus, we will put on immortality first, and then the creation one day will be renewed as well.

The global environmental movement of the New Age is inundated with the beliefs about the earth being “Divine” and more important than human beings are! We are seen as mere “germs” that are killing the Goddess Gaia (Mother Earth) and we must be de-populated by a few billion to Imagestain “Sustainable Development” according to these militant environmentalists.  The WORLD VISION newsletter “GRID”, 2002-Issue 2, announces that it will represented at the WORLD SUMMIT ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT in Johannesburg, South Africa, 26 august – 4 September, 2002. This is a United Nations conference. About reinvigorating global commitment towards achieving sustainable development. If you do not understand what this shocking, horrifying, “sustainable development” is about write to Endtime Ministries requesting material on it, please cover our costs. Briefly:
1. To “sustain” the development of the earth these environmental endeavours seek to reduce the human population down as much as 80-90%!
2. They intend to get rid of cars, fenced farms, roads, train tracks, golf courses, industry that “pollutes” (which means almost everything), refrigerators, oil tankers and large ships, ski-runs – I could go on here for quite awhile. Fantastic? No, true enough, and the documents coming from the United Nations show clearly that this is the case.  They want you and I living like peasants!
3. These global movements for sustainable development and to “save the earth” have AN EARTH CHARTER, which was written by the New Age New World Order power-leaders, Gorbachev, Stephen Rockefeller and Maurice Strong. This is about more than the “saving of the earth” it is about implementing all over the world a NEW SPIRITUALITY which worships the Earth as Goddess. The environmental movement, worldwide, is a tool to bring in the “PLAN” of the internationalists to transform the earth by total political control.

TONY CAMPOLO EXTRAORDINAIRE.
When the ordinary churchgoer encounters a speaker of the ilk of Campolo they are most likely swept up in his rhetoric. He can charm the most discerning of persons! Campolo becomes just like the men your denomination admires: at the A.O.G. he roared and yelled, he spoke of gifts and healing and tongue speaking, he was highly demonstrative. At another denomination he will be academic, quiet and scholarly, like a professor. He uses EMOTION to win you over, he uses GUILT to move you, he uses FEAR to get you to give your money and move into his way of thinking and evaluating. A few examples here: he gives “homey” stories about children, little every day things, he appeals to your heart. Then he will attack on the guilt area, he tries to convince you that to not give to World Vision organizations means you will have a hard time getting into Heaven! To do this he misinterprets Matthew 28:32 – 46 as though our very salvation depended on giving to the poor and needy! This is to send fear into the hearers, who will respond because they fear hell! This is not so. We are saved by Grace alone, through the shed Blood of Christ Jesus on the Cross-, the passage and others like it are addressed to the NATIONS, not individuals (see verse 32). This has to do with nations being selected to go into the Millennial Reign of Christ, not to individuals being kept out of Heaven – look at that passage above carefully.

Campolo used FEAR of attack by the Muslims to get Australians to give money to his organization. This was what the strange entreaty about giving food to the “enemy” was about. Give food to the Muslims in the Middle East countries, and they will not attack Australia? Pour money into World Vision organizations and then you will be safe? This is what a con man at your front door does; he knows how to “sell.” Be not deceived Christians, if you want more information on the various topics merely referred to herein then write to Endtime Ministries and request material on the subject [s]. Tony Campolo is a dangerous man indeed! He is well into demolishing the American and Australian democracy, and ushering in the New Order of the earth. (See tape 10: 3815 on C.D.) He indicates that the USA and Australia should eventually be pulled down by “God.” He said at the “Grow” conference that critics say of him “you make Christianity sound like some sort of revolutionary movement.” NO, he brings a revolutionary movement into the churches and makes it sound like Christianity! He drops the seeds of revolution in the soil of souls – if the congregations are suitable soil, he will reap a crop!

THE GOSPEL MESSAGE OF CAMPOLO.
This man calls himself orthodox and evangelical. Does someone who is orthodox and evangelical change the Gospel of Grace to a WORKS “gospel”? Campolo does this by continually using fear of losing Heaven to sway the gullible crowds. He tells them that if they do not give to the poor (i.e. World Vision organizations) they could miss out on going into the Kingdom of God! He often uses this scare tactic. This is a WORKS doctrine for salvation, readers. Now if you are saved you will know that there are NO WORKS for salvation in the Gospel of Grace. We can be saved by faith in the shed Blood of Christ alone – Faith Alone, Grace Alone, Christ Alone. You will not be rejected, dear reader, for not giving money to the internationalist’s organizations for the “poor.”

If Campolo were really an orthodox evangelical he would not support “Gay” rights and insist that the homosexuals were “born that way.” He would support the Biblical view of homosexuality. If he were truly orthodox and evangelical his Images emphasis would not be on social work and pouring money into the coffers of the United Nation’s N.G.Os to “feed the poor and needy.” He would be preaching the true Gospel, pouring money into Bible-based mission work, and saving souls! Soon enough this life is over, no matter how much food one has – and after that the judgement. The world NEEDS CHRIST as Saviour far more than food. Yes, we should help the starving, but do it by legitimate means, help missionaries to supply goods to their converts and those they encounter.

If Campolo was an orthodox evangelical he would not cite liberal, apostate authors like Kierkegaard! He would not laud and applaud the New Age authors, their leaders and “patron saints.”

There is a militant army of others just like him infiltrating Christendom. How important it is for every Bible Christian to be armed with knowledge and information about what the NEW WORLD beliefs and aims are, so that YOU do not become a victim who joins forces with them, swept away by smart-aleck talk, because you were ignorant of their devious change-agent propaganda.

World Vision has heavy Jesuit association, well aligned with the New World globalists. The Vatican is a powerful force in the N.W.O. “Compassion International”; Campolo promotes this organization, that works with World Vision etc. This quote from Shakespeare could help our understanding here:
“The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.
An evil soul producing holy witness
As like a villain with a smiling cheek,
A goodly apple rotten at the heart:
Oh, what a goodly outside falsehood hath!”

Priest Isaac Hecker, 1888, the Founder of the Paulists Redemptorist (Jesuit) Mission to Protestant America said:
“In 1900 Rome will take this country and keep it.”
In the 21st century the Jesuits are decidedly Marxist-Leninists, they are in league with the N.W.O. Rome, as the city of Biblical prophecy, could well make real her intentions, even a hundred years late.

The Christian Church on earth is on a pilgrimage. We belong to Heaven, and our allegiance is to our Home and our Lord. The greatest virtue in the lives of Christians and our collective organizations is to follow the Lord God, not to follow the world. The Campolos of this period seek to weaken our loyalties to Heaven and Home by stressing secular, social and temporary matters as though they were the realities we must embrace. The drab world of the international N.G.Os taking the world by “feeding the poor” and standing up for the “oppressed” can never replace the splendours of our God-given pilgrimage on behalf of Heaven and the Ruler of the Universe. It is not “pie in the sky by and by when you die”, as Campolo terms it, to be about the duties and ministries that GOD has assigned to Christ’s Body on earth. We are passing through, bringing the message of Christ Jesus the Saviour to the world. We have been left here to win souls out of this vale of tears, one day we will see those souls safely in Heaven forever. Should we care for the bellies and dwellings of the poor and needy? Yes, as GOD directs, as we get on with the Images mission of the Church - but do it outside the New Age socialists’ agenda! No other body on earth can accomplish our assignment from Heaven; no other peoples can bring the lost to the Saviour.  Get off that track and the churches will wander about lost in the New Age political “save the earth and feed the poor” wilderness!

WAKE UP, beloved Church of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Always seek guidance from the Lord about how to use your money! It all belongs to HIM, not to any international organizations or to the SPIN-DOCTORS that represent these N.G.Os under the United Nations’ subversive, political influence.  THE LORD has given us a Great Commission; use everything you have to support those who are engaged in HIS work on earth.
“In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy paths.”  (Proverbs 3:6).

BEING “WORLDLY.”
Most Christian believers are aware that they should not be “worldly” but perhaps we should examine just what we mean by this term “worldly.” Maybe the best way of looking at this is what Paul said in Romans 12:2:
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Paul means that we should not allow ourselves to be pushed into the mold of the world around us. This is easy to see if we think of fashion in clothes; having a “good time”; what kind of music we should use in a church service; how we should spend Sunday – and other commonplace things. But, what about being worldly by our expectations of what Christianity is all about? If we think that the KEY to Christianity is being successful, having this world’s goods in abundance and prosperity, or having physical health, then we are WORLDLY Christians indeed. For to imagine such a sublime faith as faith in Christ Jesus as being a mere physical, material matter is to place all our eggs in the basket of earth, and spiritual reality and worth is trampled under foot. There is no real wrong in being wealthy or healthy, but they NOT the key to the Christian faith, and to dwell on these things is to swallow up spiritual worth in secular criteria.

Now you might say, “Yes, I realize that, I am not a worldly Christian.”
However, are you a Christian whose mind is Imagesly on social justice, joining with worldly groups to help the oppressed and poor, or third world liberation, then you are measuring Christianity by a worldly criteria. You are based only in material and social advancement. Earthly fulfillment, earthly progress, the goal being worldly in nature, is all about WORLDLINESS in faith.

One day Christ Jesus will bring change to this world, but don’t join those who are so impatient for results that they take the bit between their teeth and demand changes NOW!
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” ( Revelation 21:4).
