THE NEW EVANGELISM - THE HIGHWAY TO HELL!
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT CHRISTIANS UNDERSTAND FULLY WHAT EVANGELISM
AND THE GOSPEL REALLY ARE! SATAN is launching his Titanic deception which
will sink to hell -
under the title of “The New Evangelism.”
I have recently been to a Jubilee AD 2000 conference, almost three thousand Catholics and other denominations were there. I was surrounded by people who were being deceived. The spiritual blackness there has drawn from my inner most being cries of anguish and compassion ever since! They are the people of the NEW EVANGELISM, as presented by the Vatican under Pope John Paul II. These lost souls used the terms, “evangelism,” “gospel,” “converted,” and “Jesus Christ,” yet ALL these terms had been redefined - there was NO Truth or reality, none at all. When seeking to discuss the real, Biblical Gospel with them I found there was hardly any way to get through the mass of Satanic counterfeits which had swallowed them up. They already “knew” about the “gospel” and “evangelism” and so on, so they thought and said. Yet, they were speaking of some other false gospel, so diabolically clever in presentation that the imprint of a cloven hoof was seen on all that pertained to it.
The Pope has issued his decrees on this “new evangelism”, as part
of Jubilee 2000, which were spelt out in all their horror at the
Jubilee conference.

“But though we, or an angel from heaven,( Galatians 1:8-10)
preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you,

As we said before, so say I now again.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men?
For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.”
BEFORE WE PROCEED WITH THE NEW EVANGELISM -
WHO WAS AT THE “HEARTS ON FIRE” CONFERENCE?
“A Jubilee Challenge in an Ancient Land.”
The National Catholic Conference on Evangelism, a response to the
challenge of the new millennium, was held in Brisbane, 14-17th of July,
1999. I attended the four day and four night conference, in hopes of gaining
more insight into the Jubilee 2000 global movement. I was not disappointed.
The information gleaned from the conference will be shared in part with
our readers, in later Mini-Despatches. Big events are looming just ahead,
Christian believers, be much in prayer! The militancy of the Roman Catholic
Church for the next millennium was only too obvious. Heard a number of
times at the conference was the remark: “we have been separated as Christian
denominations for 400 years, now we have come together again. Just in time
for the new millennium.” (Or words of that nature). This is without doubt
the complete overthrow of the Protestant Reformation, as far as the denominations
go. The Remnant Church can only look on with awe!
WHO WAS THERE?
The “Hearts on Fire” conference was no mere
local affair. ...

Speakers of great interest were at the conference, “Hearts on Fire.”
Perhaps the one with greatest interest for
evangelical and fundamental Christians was
Tim Costello, brother of our government treasurer, Peter
Costello. At the conference an announcement was made that Tim Costello
had been made President of the Australian Baptist Union! More about the
speech that Costello made at “Hearts on Fire” - later Mini-Despatches.

But we must understand that HELL is a reality, horrifying and imminent!
Those who do not accept Christ Jesus’ shed Blood as their only way of salvation
will GO TO HELL! This is a fallen world of lost sinners, there is only
One Way out of our disaster - the Blood of Christ Jesus, the Lamb of God,
offered as the Divine Sacrifice for sin.
When all these “new evangelisms” and new “gospels” are offered
to the lost in the street and in the churches three major things happen:
1. The indoctrinated dupe is utterly confused about what IS the actual
Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The false gospels use the same terms,
but mean vastly different things. The duped believe they have the authentic
gospel.
2. The real Gospel is so overwhelmed by the counterfeit denominations
of Christendom that the real Gospel appears to the lost to be a sort
of fundamentalist minority cult view, proposed by outlandish extremists.
3. When the denominations join in with the “new evangelical” ecumenical
efforts, the real Gospel will NOT be presented, but will be laid to rest
as “old and out-dated.”
HELL looms for a vast number of people in your own area, many are churchgoers. This quote from the book, “The New Neutralism” by William E.Ashbrook, is of importance:
“Reuben E.Torrey, noted Bible teacher and evangelist, said, near the turn of the last century, that he believed that only 10% who professed to be believers were really converted, and that 90% had never had an experience of salvation. If that were true back there in the hey-day of American evangelism, what shall we say of the easy and shallow professions of today?” (p.118).The New Evangelism will lead multitudes of churchgoers to hell, and encourage them to support and aid those who spread the false gospels. Let us consider this subject that should never be mentioned in polite denominational circles - HELL.. Our Creator is a Holy God Who will not always offer His Grace. Time is short! The Lamb of God Himself drained the very cup of the Almighty’s wrath when He took upon Himself all the indignation of a Holy God - on the Cross. He endured the awesome punishment which was deserved by offending, sinful mankind. Those who choose wilfully to reject Christ’s glorious sacrifice on their behalf have no place to go but right into the wrath of God. They themselves must then drink the cup of God’s righteous, completed and just anger:
“For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same; but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.” (Psalm 75:8).The doctrine of eternal punishment is highly objectionable to the modern members of churches, and their ministers who “do theology.” This may well be, but GOD clearly warns urgently of the reality of hell.
The bodies of those who die unsaved by the Blood of the Lamb will be resurrected (Revelation 20:5, 12-15 and John 5:29 and so on). They will have real bodies which can be tormented in some kind of flames. Their spirits likewise will suffer torment forever! This is why Christ Jesus came to suffer for us, so that we could escape this awesome place called HELL and later The Lake of Fire. The unsaved will suffer in the view of the Lamb, the holy angels and the those who are redeemed by trust in Christ (Isaiah 66:23,24). This shows the Holy Justice of the Almighty, although the reality is shockingly incomprehensible to our finite minds.
The lost will be “punished with everlasting destruction [ ruin, not annihilation] from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power” (II Thessalonians 1:9). Hell will be a spiritual blackness, an outer darkness for those who are not redeemed - those who are like “wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever” (Jude 13).
“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard [him]; “ (Hebrews 2:3).
THE POPE’S NEW EVANGELISM EXPLAINED IN PART.
The challenge of a new millennium has issued forth in a New Evangelism effort from the Vatican. This is all a part of the Jubilee AD 2000 celebrations and thrust for the year 2000. To explain this “evangelism” is a task in itself! The redefinition of what Protestants have held dear is well underway. The Jubilee task forces have redefined:
“Evangelism” - this now means a mixture of humanistic action, left-wing activism, being nice to each other, gaining self-esteem, being polite to strangers in church - in fact everything and anything is termed “evangelism.” The Catholic Church now even talks about “evangelising” oneself. This means to turn over a new leaf or forgiving oneself. People at the Jubilee conference handed each other cups of tea, and called it “evangelising” each other. There was no concept there of the true Gospel or what Biblical evangelism is all about.
Giving “The Gospel” or “Good News” - this is now redefined as being any sort of kindness, good liturgies, living a good life before others, helping the aboriginals gain land-rights, getting people back into the Catholic Church, almost anything “good” is now “The Gospel.”
Being “Converted” - this means becoming a “churched” person.
There was general consensus that now the separation of Protestants and Catholics was at an end (after 400 years), united “evangelism” should take place inter -denominationally. The Catholic Church intends, as it has done traditionally, to “inculturate” through “evangelism.” This “inculturation” is of major concern for Australians. So too is united ecumenical “evangelism.”
On speaking to a number of priests and nuns at the Jubilee conference,
I gathered this information on their basis for salvation: the Roman Catholic
Church is an eclectic (multi-faith) church, and the church’s ground
for salvation is very broad in scope. I asked if the Eucharist, or infant
baptism, or good works, or belonging to the Catholic Church, or attending
confession with a priest was “salvation”
or not, what was, I asked? All of those things and more was the answer.
I was shocked at the large painting in a seminar, it was painted by an
aboriginal artist, a kangaroo hanging on the Cross! “Sensitive,
inspiring Christology” declared a nun. There was talk often
of the ludicrous kind of evangelism presented by “fundamentals.”
The kind that stressed a “one-of”
experience of salvation, and talked about being “born-again.”
Evangelism which was undertaken by fundamentals who had “a
Bible under their arms and a verse for every occasion.”
The Catholic Church believes that everyone will be saved ultimately - Universalism.
ALL PART OF JUBILEE 2000.
The Jubilee 2000 programme, as issued by the Pope, includes this
“new evangelism.” Jubilee 2000 is not
just a initiative of the Roman Catholic Church, however, it is happening
across the globe in many different spheres. The Protestant churches, many
para-church groups and social concern groups are joining in with great
enthusiasm with Jubilee 2000. This major movement is a global thrust which
was not even started by Christians, Jews or any religious group for that
matter. The name has become synonymous with the new millennium - another
version of the Age of Aquarius or the New World. The Jubilee 2000 programme
we are considering has six major aims, one
is the forgiveness of national debts of poorer nations. All the
aims are supposed to bring with them more of the “reign
of God” on earth. Again we see the counterfeit “kingdom”,
this strange phenomena arising across the globe. It is NOT the kingdom
of our Lord Jesus Christ, it is a union of all men, groups, political persuasions
and religions - ONE WORLD under the Beast of Revelation (Rev.13 &
17). UNITY IN DIVERSITY. The New Evangelism is a major ploy to unite religions
and destroy the authentic Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ!
WHAT IS THE TRUE EVANGELISM
OF THE REMNANT CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST?
There are so many false teachers today who bring a false Gospel. The true Gospel is ALL GRACE, ALL FAITH and CHRIST ONLY. There are no works that can be offered to God to receive the true salvation in Christ Jesus. We cannot begin with works, we cannot finish with works. The Eucharist with its perpetual sacrifice offered up to God is NOT the Gospel message. The ridicule about a “once of” experience where the believer receives forgiveness and eternal life is actually a denial of the true Gospel message. Jesus Christ’s Blood alone has purchased our salvation, on this sacrifice we must put our entire trust. The fake “evangelism” of the ALPHA COURSE was at the conference, “Hearts on Fire.” This presents the PROCESS, the idea that being born-again is a long process, not a “one of” receiving of Christ as Saviour and Lord. This fits in nicely with Catholic doctrine. Is the Vatican behind ALPHA? Of course it is.
Christ died that the world and all natural creation would be saved. Human beings , however, have free wills, they must freely choose to repent and accept humbly the Grace and forgiveness offered in the Saviour:
“For the wages of sin is death,This quote from Henry M.Morris is about the majestic scope of the true Gospel:
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23).
“The creation is the foundation of the gospel, the second coming is the blessed hope of the gospel, the cross and the empty tomb constitute the power of the gospel. A gospel without the creation and the consummation is as much an emasculated gospel as one without the cross and the empty tomb.”ALL is by God’s Grace, for God Himself has offered up His Son for us all. The Gospel is God declaring New Life in His Son, given freely, we are to come with “nothing in our hands.”
Those “gospels” which do not show grace through faith alone are called an “anathema” by God :
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed (anathema).” (Galatians 1:8).As an example of these dark days, a book by David Pawson of the UK [ not yet online but a recent expose is] was written deliberately to present a “gospel” of grace plus works, the entire book is devoted to presenting another gospel. On the back cover of Pawson’s “Once Saved, Always Saved?” we see these shocking words which oppose God’s Gospel of Grace:
“The majority Evangelical view is that once someone has accepted Christ as Saviour they are guaranteed salvation....He (Pawson) asks whether something more than being born again is required so that our inheritance is not lost....”This is an “anathema” in God’s sight, believers. We cannot nor ever could for all eternity add to the FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST on our behalf. We do not in our own strength have to add to the finished work on the Cross by "persevering" and by showing our own miserable good works, as Pawson teaches. Salvation is a gift, won by the Blood of Christ.
WHAT IS THE BASIS OF YOUR OWN SALVATION?
Can you dear reader have been taught a false
gospel?
If so, now is the time to find out. There is not a moment to lose,
“be sure your anchor holds and grips the Solid
Rock,” be very sure! Eternity in hell is forever! Let’s seek
only the Word of God on this stupendous matter. Notice the absolute assurance
of eternal life being the born-again believer’s PRESENT possession.
“We KNOW that we HAVE passed from death unto life....” (I John 3:14).When we were all helpless, no hope at all, God gave in Grace His Son. He died for ungodly sinners in whom no righteousness could be found at all. Full stop! There is NO merit in anything you or I do, our only merit for salvation is Christ Himself, He is our life. God Who is Perfect Love gave Him as our Sacrifice while we were vile in sin, and completely lost. Since we have been justified by His Blood God will never, no never, allow us to come into judgment. We shall be saved from wrath through Him.
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, HATH everlasting life, and SHALL NOT come into condemnation; but is PASSED FROM DEATH unto life.” John 5:24.
“Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.“ (Romans 5:8-10).In Romans 5 we see the “five much more verses.” These verses are telling us that since every charge against us has been dismissed because of the Blood of the Son of God MUCH MORE will we be forever beyond the reach of God’s vengeance against sin. If GOD says so, who dare contradict the Living Divine Lord of Heaven?
“Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? “ (Romans 8:30-32).Did you see that the believer, in God’s viewpoint, is already glorified?
“Now unto him that is able TO KEEP YOU FROM FALLING, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.” (Jude 24).God will keep all those who are saved from falling into damnation again, and he will also present us faultless before His own Presence in glory. Praise His Name.
“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” (John 6:37).Believers are SEALED IN SAFETY with the Holy Spirit unto everlasting security in Christ Jesus:
“ And I give unto them eternal life; and they SHALL NEVER PERISH (go to The Lake of Fire), neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28).
“In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” (Ephesians 1:13).This is the True Gospel of Jesus Christ, Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Christ Alone.
We “joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have NOW RECEIVED the reconciliation.” Romans 5:11.Let all those who bring another “gospel” be warned by the Holy Spirit of God:
“...If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:9).
